What a mess. I arrived with a friend to find. Sorry we don't have the buffet. "There's a note on our website." There was not. The waiter/greeter offered buffet prices for whatever we ordered. Seemed reasonable. I ordered two appetizers and the saag paneer. My friend had mattar paneer ($20) and a mango lassi ($6). I had a salted lassi. I asked for a seltzer water. It was warm, so I asked for ice. No glass came with the bottle of soda, which was warm. 20 minutes later, the ice came. There was quite a bit of food left over. They brought us full portions. The food was good, tasty but not what I call authentic. I spent 20 years traveling in India and you'll find a lot of Indian restaurant reviews under my name. $40 each. Sorry, we no longer offer lassi or soda with the buffet. See the attached screenshot from 7/3/25. I pointed out it was still on the website, and he shrugged. This could have turned into a win for them, but instead, the service was poor, and I won't return. No to go boxes with your leftovers. It's a buffet. My friend paid $40 for $26 worth of food. Absolutely Horrifying -- Cockroaches Found in My Takeout While Eating!!!!!! This was one of the most disturbing experiences I've ever had with any restaurant. After eating a few bites of my takeout meal, I noticed cockroaches mixed in with the food. The realization was so disgusting and horrifying that I immediately forced myself to throw up. I can't describe the level of nausea and shock I felt knowing I had already eaten from a contaminated dish. This isn't just a matter of poor service -- this is a serious public health hazard. It's beyond unacceptable that food in this condition was prepared and sent to a paying customer. The kitchen clearly lacks even the most basic sanitation standards, and it's frightening to think this could be happening to others. I'm going to assume that either ownership or the chefs changed because my meal today was not great. I've been ordering from here for a few years and ordered my 3 usuals: garlic naan, chicken biryani, and mango butter chicken. Parts of the naan were doughy tasting and too thick. It was cooked through but the taste was not pleasant. The mango butter sauce tasted the same as usual but the chicken made me want to throw up. It was as if the chicken was boiled and then thrown in the sauce. No flavor or texture. It was almost like a rubbery tofu texture. Just gross. The biryani did not appear right at all (pictured). It looked mushy. Once I tasted it, it was way spicier than "medium" and there were small cubes of raw ginger. This is not how it is normally cooked. So disappointed. This used to be a go-to and I 100% do not plan to waste my $ here again. read more

Went here for their new buffet they just opened recently. Was pleasantly surprised. Buffet price included the food and drinks such as mango lassi, Chai, soft drinks. And they are refillable. The gal at the front was also serving us, she was very attentive and was coming around often to clean up used plates and refill our lassis. Food was warm and tasted fine. Not a very large buffet but definitely has fish, meat, or veggie dishes to choose from. read more

This restaurant has somewhat recently changed ownership (It used to be Golden Indian, now it's Golden India), but unfortunately it just isn't as good as the prior iteration. They seem to using a "mother" sauce now, meaning it's just a standard curry base modified as needed, and even when ordering 5 star, it's more like a 3. When I ordered a biryari, I just got some plain rice mixed with sauce, which is definitely not right. The curries are still ok to good, but I have to downgrade my rating. read more

Huge buffet but pricey for lunch buffet. We also came around 2pm and realized that the food was put around 11am and if not finished, they will just leave it out for dinner buffet. I'm sure there's some regulation towards how long you keep food out and you can't expect the little heating candle to keep it warm and fresh. We came here for lunch at the buffet, where naan bread was supposed to be included -- but it wasn't. When we asked for the naan, we were charged an extra $5.00, even though it was advertised as part of the buffet. On top of that, we were also charged $21.00 for a Shahi Paneer, which we did not order separately. We went today for the grand opening. I wasn't sure if it was a new restaurant that came to Seattle or it was just renovated and reopened . When we showed up on their grand opening day there was no sign of it even looking like there was a grand opening. Not many people attended literally us and two other families the restaurant was basically empty so that left kind of a red flag. We gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried out the buffet. In my opinion one of the worst Indian restaurants that I have ever been to . The food tasted flavorless , the goat curry was tough to eat, the kabobs were extremely dry and flavor was disgusting. The curry's sweet, even the mango lassi was extremely watered down. Honestly everything there was an utter disappointment. My favorite thing on that menu was the iced water. I had high hopes for this place but after today I honestly can't see myself come back. The quality of the food tasted like the chef didn't care. The halwa itself looked like they took a packet of shredded carrots and cooked the sweat dish with it . Pure laziness and it showed in the food. First of all, do not order online, unless you want your order messed up. I literally just ordered two orders of naan bread and they gave us a whole bag of food. My husband brought home the bag thinking I ordered more than I told him. We called to go get our bread and they wanted us to bring the food back that we had opened and waited for us to come so they can give the food to the other customer, after being opened. She did not want the food we opened and they started making the food she ordered when we arrived without the food. They refused to give us our actual order without paying for it again. I go to try their buffet for the first time today. the food was fantastic. The selection of food was fantastic. They offered the classics like butter chicken, chicken tikka , naan etc but also offered authentic Indian food like achar , kheer, okra and custard. I would highly recommended everyone to try the buffet. the food service was also great as they were pretty good at refilling the empty items and the restaurant itself had great ambiance. 9.5/10 only because always room for improvement. read more

This place has slowly been getting lazier with their effort. Their butter chicken curry was watery in texture rather than thick and creamy. Extremely oil as well, you could see the dark grease in it. Drove all the way from Lakewood to come here and try out their lunch buffet drove over 30 miles and 40 minutes just to be told that the lunch buffet already ended very disappointed. My fiancé also called and was told by a lady that there was still a plenty of time for the lunch buffet The manager offered us 30% discount on the à la cart which is not the same as all you can eat buffet. I debated leaving this review for a long time but realize now I should have left one sooner. We live really close to this place and had always been curious about trying it since they opened. I've been eating Indian food all my life and it would be great to have a good place so close. Unfortunately this place let us down in just about every way possible. We put in an online order for takeout through their own website, which at the time (this was back in late June) routed you to DoorDash. As my husband was doing keto at the time he couldn't eat much on the menu so he ordered the special, a rack of lamb, one of the pricier items but something he could actually eat. We live nearby so he went to pick up the food and brought it back within a matter of minutes. Once home we reviewed the items he brought home and quickly noticed no lamb, but we did have an order of "Manchurian chicken," which appeared to be a strange take on Chinese fried chicken. It also definitely wasn't keto, and was also about half the price of the lamb we'd ordered. Since we're so close I had him go back and ask about the lamb. He was told they were no longer offering it, despite it being on their then-site, so they had subbed it. This was done without any attempt at contacting us to ask if we wanted to simply remove that item from our order, or give us a choice in replacement. When my husband them he couldn't eat the replacement they gave us and wanted a replacement he could, one employee apparently offered to give him some meat kabobs, but then a manager came over and said they couldn't just give them to him and would have to charge for them. This despite the fact we should have had a credit in the first place since the substitute they gave us was so much less than what we ordered. After that discussion went nowhere they ultimately told him to take it up with DoorDash and didn't offer any further assistance so he came home empty handed. The rest of the order was at least accurate, but it sure wasn't good. Like I said I've been eating Indian food all my life, and there's also plenty of great Indian places in the Greater Seattle Area that serve as examples of authentic, quality Indian food. What I ended up with looked and tasted maybe a half-step above microwave Indian food. The "Manchurian chicken" I already mentioned was a baffling dish I'd never heard of of soggy fried chicken and onions, and we wound up not even eating it. The chicken jalfrezi was bland with lima beans of all things in it; it literally looked like one of those freezer bags of mixed vegetables, which tasted fine but sure didn't come off as authentic. The tamarind sauce was a bright red which was off-putting compared to the rich warm brown I'm used to from every other Indian place, and sure made it feel more like a watered down sweet and sour sauce than anything Indian. And none of the dishes we'd requested "Hot" had any spice to them whatsoever. The pakora paneer was the worst of all; initially it tasted fine, though I noticed that underneath the fried batter it appeared to be two pieces of cheese glued together with some sort of brown paste; again, not something I've encountered at any of the dozens of other Indian restaurants before. I assumed it was some seasoning/flavor thing and stopped worrying about it until I bit into what I can only describe as a stick or flat piece of wood that was in-between the cheese slices. I immediately stopped eating and tossed the rest. The whole ordeal of dealing with this restaurant, getting no resolution on them essentially stealing from us other than a discount with DoorDash, which we had to go directly to them for, and then being stuck with $80 worth of bad Indian food, left us frustrated and appalled that they have somehow convinced other people that what they're serving is remotely good or authentic, or honestly even safe to eat. So that's why even though it's months later I'm putting this out there now as a warning to anyone else. If you want good Indian food, there are so many other local places to choose from, please do so. read more

This is my go-to Indian restaurant for take out. Took me a long time to find one that had good flavors and didn't use only dark meat in their chicken curries in the surrounding Seattle area after moving here from Florida last year. Their butter chicken is the best I have ever had! Chicken khorma is usually my fav, and theirs is good, but their butter chicken is definitely the star. Naan and basmati rice are delicious. Their vegetable samosas were good and really enjoy their vegetable pakora. Usually order from here once to twice a month. Even the kiddos love their tandoori chicken. read more

Craving samosas, I came here with some friends one afternoon. We ordered Chicken curry, chicken saag, samosas (which were pretty good) and chicken vindaloo with a side of garlic naan. My girls started off with some lentil soup while they waited for the main dishes. What was difficult was the language barrier. I found myself doing charades to get my point across but it was difficult trying to be understood. Things like needing more water or another order of chai; but I gave up because besides not understanding, our waited would go into the kitchen and it would be a while until we saw him again. What really got me upset was when we had to go pay, he chose his own tip. What happened was that he inserted my card, turned the screen for me to sign and I did, and then a min later he was helping the next person check out. I asked him where was the option to put the tip and he said he took care of it. It's only because my kids where starting to get restless that I ended up just leaving but I was infuriated that he took the Liberty to pay himself whatever amount he chose. Garlic naan was fresh and crisp although it did take a little while to come out. We discovered this place after a hockey game on what happened to be their opening night. The inside is inviting, neat, and clean. Their prices are reasonable, the food is amazing, and there are a lot of choices. I had the chicken tiki masala on a level 2 spice with garlic naan which was perfect. My boyfriend ordered his curry at a level 5 and he was satisfied with the spice level. We came back for their buffet which was also delicious (11-3 and dinner buffet 5-9) and had the butter chicken with rice, garlic naan and a mango smoothie. The mango smoothie was incredible and very filling as well. The staff service has been fantastic as well. This is definitely a place I'll be at regularly! read more
