I've had some RoFo chicken disappointments before, but a tip of the hat to Daym, who has mentioned this technique: For the freshest fast-food, go to a place as soon as possible after opening time! I got there around 6:30am, and surprise, they actually had chicken freshly made at that hour! I got just one fried chicken thigh. It was hot and crispy, and the chicken was tender and juicy and flavorful, right up there with the well-known drive-through places. Now I know why folks love their RoFo chicken. Come when they've made a fresh batch! For me, it's now on my "breakfast" list :-)

Since I am a RoFo rewards member my coffee was only 1.99 would have been 2.49 at regular price. They have one of those machines that brews the coffee fresh each time. Nice to know it hasn't been sitting all day. Store wasn't busy this morning. They didn't have any cashiers but they have two self service registers. Prices are what you would expect for any convenience store. I have been here on other occasions to grab a beverage or snack. Overall not a bad place so I will return.

These guys are awesome- there's a blizzard and everything else is closed? No worries, these guys will have their lot plowed, their sidewalk shoveled, and fresh coffee on. They're in a perfect location, just a short stroll from any of the apartment or townhouse complexes, and not only do they know their regulars, they're compassionate and trusting enough that when I forgot my wallet the other day, they insisted that I go ahead and take my purchases and just stop back in whenever I had a chance to settle up. There are occasionally teenagers hanging out outside, but not nearly as many or as often as a few years ago, and I've never had an issue with them or been bothered by them in any way, and the store has a policy for how many students can be in the store at a time, so often I think they're just waiting for friends who are shopping. The prices are consistent with other convenience stores, so while you can definitely get things cheaper other places, you're not paying any more here than you would at 7-11 or Royal Farms, and they have a way more interesting selection. You might not find every single flavor of potato chips ever created, but you might stumble across lime flavored wafer cookies and decide they're your new favorite snack.

I was scared, stressed, and completely out of insulin after another Walgreens closed hours earlier than advertised. Ian spoke to me with such kindness and steadiness. He said, "Miss Walton, let me see if I can help you out," and those words alone calmed me. Then he came back with, "Great news... we've got several extra Lantus pens in inventory." He didn't stop there. He told me he'd try to push it through, and when he returned with, "Great news, Ms. Walton! I was able to push it through for you!
