    AFTER #4

On, 3/1/2022 I CALLED Royal Flush Plumbing of Lilburn at (404) 492-5880 and spoke to Micheal. I explained the reason for my call. Work need: OLD GAS HOT WATER HEATER no good/out of warranty/New install and Removal of old unit. He scheduled a tech for 3/2/2022 BET. 12:00 - 3:00PM CASH IS PAYMENT AMOUNT NOT KNOWN YET. MY REVIEW ON 3/2/2022 Scheduled Time: 12:00 - 3:00 pm Time: 12:38 PM At 12:38pm I received a call from Royal Flush of Lilburn, dispatch department. I was told that a tech will be on his way. I asked for the tech's name (Justin) will be arriving at 1:00pm. Waiting, P.S. no hot water since 2/25/2022 = 6 days. Time: 1:48 PM I received a second call from Royal at 1:48pm from a different dispatch person. He stated that they are trying to get a tech out to my home. I replied, I received a call from dispatch that a tech name Justin was on his way. The dispatcher explained that Justin's last call (work order) had an emergency. So, he was called back to that customer. As it stands, Royal is looking for another tech to handle our gas water heater installation with-in the 12-3pm or a little after the selected time slot. Time: 2:58 pm I received a third call from Royal at 2:58 pm. This time, I asked the dispatcher for his name, it was Clint. He said that a tech (no name) will be here between 3:30 - 5:00 pm. I thanked, Clint for his assistance in dispatching another tech. Time: 3:35pm Justin was able to show up. He was very friendly; he explained what he would do in order to install the heater. (Free Site Survey) but, it cost us $875.00. We agreed to have the work done. (NO HOT WATER!!!). SIDE NOTE: IN, 2011 WE PAID $350.00. (I guess because of the current SUPPLY CHAIN, CV19 AND INFLATION uptrend). He will be here in the morning between 9-10am. It was too late in the day to start the installation. Plus he will need a new thermal expansion tank, which he did not have in his company truck. 3/3/2022 Time: 8:55AM TECH PHONE: 1 470-388-2186 This morning, I received a call from Justin. He called to find out if we decided on a payment option. (He explained several ways to pay for services: Cash or checks). He also, called to further explain that he was going to the distributor for the needed parts to do a complete installation. Justin arrived at 9:30 - 9:45am (Time to start 10:00am) He drained the water tank. Cut exhaust pipe, cut the copper water pipes and removed the old heater in less than 20 minutes. (Because, I went to the store and it took me 20-25min to get back) Sorry no pictures. Time: 12:00pm I checked on Justin to see, how the job was going. I was very impressed with the work done so far. (1 Hour left to completions) See pictures. He indicated that we will be able to use the heater right away or within 1 hour, after the install is fully completed. Murphy's Law will happen: At 12:45 pm Justin noticed that the after installing a new thermal expansion tank, he showed me that it was leaking. Justin tried to tighten it, but it continued to drip. It was now to hard to get the tank off. (But he did) So, Justin informed me that he will return the unit and get a new one. Job Completion: Time: 2:40pm Now, the moment of truth. Justin called my wife and me to explain that the gas water heater was now completely installed and ready for use. Justin, explained some very important points on using our new heater. He answered all our questions simply and directly. I will say it was a wonderful experience working with Justin. God sent a true professional to our home. I will recommend Royal Flush Plumbing of Lilburn to my friends and neighbors, and tell them to ask for Justin Dorminey. We are now enjoying having hot water. Thanks Again, Royal. Nill's was great at helping us with our issues. I believe it was 2 L's. Either way, very thorough person and explained things very easily.

TLDR: I would not hire this company. Not only am I very disappointed with the diagnosis process and…read morethe repair that did not address the issue that I called them for but also with the failure of their management to address my concerns. I called Plumbing Express to investigate and resolve a water leak in my kitchen ceiling. The leak was directly below my master bathroom toilet, which my sister and I had already narrowed down by tapping on the kitchen ceiling downstairs while listening upstairs, where the sound was clearly strongest near the master bathroom toilet. The technician briefly inspected both bathrooms but focused on my sister's bathroom on the opposite side of the house after noticing a damp sponge under the toilet tank. My sister explained the sponge was there because she sprays and cleans the toilet regularly, not because of a leak. The plumber then cut open the kitchen ceiling drywall, stated the leak was coming from the water supply line from my sister's toilet, and performed a complete toilet tank rebuild for $450. After the repair, he gave me a card for a company that performs restorations and recommended I call them to inspect for subfloor damage. When that restoration company arrived, they immediately stated there was no way the ceiling leak could have originated from the secondary bathroom because of the location and no evidence of water stains. They recommended another plumber and a leak detection company come out to find the leak before they performed any work. I contacted a second plumber, who agreed the leak was much more likely connected to the master bathroom toilet directly above the leak area. Finally, I hired a leak detection company, and they also confirmed the leak aligned with the master bathroom location, not the secondary bathroom Plumbing Express repaired. At this point, three separate professionals have stated the leak could not have originated from the bathroom Plumbing Express serviced. I paid $450 for a repair that did not address the actual problem I originally called about. In Response to Ty G: Your response is totally incorrect. I would not have called the second plumber and the leak detection company if your recommended restoration company had not told me that the leak was not identified. The pictures taken are of the secondary bathroom not the master as we discussed in our phone call. It is totally "disingenuous" for you to now state that the master toilet was the issue. This validates everything I thought about your company. Others beware!

Do yourself a favor and NEVER use this company…read more The tankless water heater descaling service is a SCAM! My water heater kept giving error code of blockage, and I had to reset it every other day. The tech Anthony recommended descaling. I was charged close to $900 for diagnosing the water heater and descaling it. It only took him 5 min to set up the descaling, the rest of the time was just waiting for the heater to flush itself. My water heater gave the same error code the same night. I called Plumbing Express again. Another tech came, he said he couldn't find anything wrong, he said maybe due to strong wind. He just hit the reset button, which I knew to do it myself. I called Plumbing Express again. This time they didn't come, and gave me $2,000 quote to repair the piping and all that. I debated for a long time between repairing and replacing the whole system (my system was only 5 years old). I decided to call another plumbing company for second opinion. They came and found the inlet water filter being extremely dirty and blocked. They cleaned it, and now my water heater is working like new again, and the new plumbing company charged me less than $100. Cleaning the filter was supposed to be part of the annual maintenance descaling that I paid Plumbing Express to do, which they obviously didn't do and I paid $900 for. They even mis-diagnosed and wanted me to fix the whole plumbing system for $2-3k. It is insane! Another issue was during the first appointment of fixing my water heater, I also asked Anthony to look at my shower faucet because it didn't control temperature very well. It was working fine besides the temperature part. He unassembled it to look inside. He said the cartridge needs to be replaced. He had to look for it and would call me back. Anthony put the shower faucet back. The same day when I used the shower, I turned the faucet and it fell off. It was very obvious that Anthony assembled it incorrectly. He came back and couldn't put it back because the parts inside broke already. He said he would call me back about replacement quote. Never called me back. I had to call office multiple times. After that, they said the faucet is too old, there is no replacement part, I would have to replace my entire master shower system. Not only Plumbing Express didn't fix my shower faucet, they completely broke it. They turned a simple problem into something they would cost me tens of thousands of dollars to fix. Now I'm still living with my faucet broken off and still trying to figure out a way to fix it without breaking my bank.
