The girls got fish tacos, which were huge.. And a lovely salad with pickled shallots and a tarragon vinaigrette. It was really good. I got the muscles and a white wine cream sauce. Never had it like this before. It was very good. It's half restaurant half seafood store. Lots of cool paintings on the wall mostly of pelicans. I love pelicans. The staff was spectacular. As I've said before, it's always nice to have a staff that makes you feel like they want you there. I will definitely be coming back. The next time I'm back up in Ottawa.

My friend got the Tony's Bouillabaisse, which I thought was delicious too (although I don't think she liked it all that much). The spring rolls were super yummy. They were fried to crispy perfection and filled with steaming hot shrimp, crab bits, and lettuce. It was super fun to eat, too. My favourite thing about The Seafood Grill was how freshly cooked every single dish was. All three dishes came out steaming hot, which I knew they had prepared freshly in the back. All seafood restaurants should do it like The Seafood Grill as the gold standard. I think I'll be back next time I'm in town, especially if I can visit the Kanata area. We visited for our anniversary dinner just from googling our way through, called couple hours in advance and got a slot for 9:15PM. When we got there it was packed, I got a little impatient waiting until just after 9:45 to be seated, we ended up getting the couch table in the patio. Super warm and cozy, I forgot all about the wait by the time we sat down. My other half is usually picky, but this place has my heart, we loved every part of the seafood tower, even the sushi & sashimi was prepared perfectly. Don't even get me started on the hamachi sashimi in that tower... For a Mediterranean place, I am IMPRESSED!! The scallop was nicely done, just seared enough and not cooked through so you can taste the sweetness. The lobster was also on point, . We ordered the Arancini because we saw the photos online, it's average. We also got the dessert. Now... I'm not a fan of s'mores or sweets, but we could not stop digging into that plate! We've already booked a 2nd visit for another celebration tonight, simply because I couldn't stop talking about trying their Tomahawk steak that I saw the next table eat.
