Our waitress was very kind and the food came out quickly. Everything was delicious and good sizes! I tried a mango lassi for the first time and I really liked it, like a mango smoothie almost! They have a very large menu I would definitely love to come back to try some more of their options!

Flavor of India is tucked into a little corner of East Syracuse and you'd miss it if you weren't looking. Staff was friendly and sat us right in front of the fire place on a chilly 20 Degree night. The food took about 15 to 20 minutes and was hot, fresh and flavorful with requests to us on our spice level which I went spicy and didnt regret it (but my body might have) lol. The Biryani portion for $17 was definetly enough for 2 meals and I felt full from about half of it thought that might have been the capsacin. The garlic chili Nana was very interesting because in one bite it cut the heat from my biryani but then hit me with chili and the spice came back. About $50 for 2 people w/ 2 entrees, naan, and water. A little pricier than what you might want for just 2 people but the food's taste and size make up for it. Would definetly go back.

The staff were so welcoming & friendly. Very important note here- they are located upstairs in the building they are in. You'll see an entrance on the street but you have to go upstairs to get to the restaurant. Very beautiful view from the windows. We got two meals that we shared & an absolutely spectacular starter. My biggest appreciation was the fantastic flavors. Every bite I took (even of the rice) was seasoned & popped with flavor. The plates came with fresh lemon that was the perfect addition to squeeze over our meals. We had fresh herby sauces that also came with the meals that I couldn't get enough of. Fantastic meal & we will be going back. I'll also make sure to actually write down what we ordered!

Sat by the window looking down the street, studied the menu. It was a bit confusing, I asked the most popular food, stc. He picked a dish of braised lamb chop with raisin rice. Ok. Was very tasty! Surprisingly good. Lamb was hiding inside of the mountain of rice. The owner lady told me, Afghanistan food is similar to Indian food. The difference is the ginger part. indian uses ginger, the other don't. Indian food is spicy, the other is not. Friendly service.

We split the wings -- so crispy and delicious! We also got burgers and tots. Everything was prepared perfectly and the TOTS!!! So crispy and had a unique spice in them -- LOVED. Beer recommendation: too many to list (That is a very good…read morething) A mix of very positive experiences muddled by the occasional menu item that shouldn't even bother be offered, this is a much appreciated redo of the World of Beer. A menu full of takes on classic American fare run through a different flavor profile, and it maintains the large and excellent beer selection of this spaces previous tenant. Take their menu, full of fusion into dishes like their garbage plate and flatbreads that feel unique in this area and still fit the expectation of the originals. Then there is the occasional misfire, like the vindaloo cheesesteak that looks like some premade microwaved slices on a bad roll. This has been pretty good, but if you find something like the cheesesteak, try something else. That's the weird part, for a place with excellent service, an amazing selection of beers, and an experience which places it well above other Destiny locations like Bullfinch and other generic options in the new expansion (it should always be a bad sign for a site when Cheesecake Factory is in the short list of better options to eat at like Karma and the wildly overrated Bullfinch); it needs to have a solid menu top to bottom, don't make us find out what things are crap. It's tough enough to handle the noise in there even when it isn't busy. Overall, really good spot, but a few changes to remove the dead matter will make this the only option in Destiny worth anything. ANYTHING. Do not settle, if you want food and/or beer at Destiny, this is the place
