The staff, top to bottom, is knowledgeable, friendly, and customer oriented. You can get in and out in a few minutes, never more than five, and will always be pleased with the service. I've used them for local rentals exclusively in the last couple years, and highly recommend them - you will not be sorry. (As an aside, the previous staff, several years ago, was abismal and I avoided this oiffice in the past because there was always a confrontation, they lost my reservation, didn't have any cars, etc.)

I went with the representative and documented all of the dents observed on the car before I left the lot.. the representative did not provide me with any record of their vehicle inspection. I dropped the car off in Ohio the next day without incident. Two months later, a rep from corporate is calling me, accusing me of causing the damage on the rental car, which I clearly did not do. both Avis corporate and this Avis site have been extremely unhelpful and uncooperative and sharing any of the vehicle inspection records associated with my rental that would clearly show that I do not cause any of the damage that they accused me of being very aware of renting from this Avis they clearly do not care about your customer satisfaction, and you can be charged a large repair bill for damages that you did not do. Stay away unless you want a horrible customer experience

This hertz is ok. They try to upsell you on everything…read more It's really dirty as well. They did provide us a free upgrade to a bigger car after they over-rented their economy grade cars. Funny thing is the sales guy was trying to sell us that car for 20 dollars more. We eventually resisted long enough and the sales guy caved in and gave us the upgraded sedan for free. The sedan was this beat up and had lots of dents and scratches. Be sure to check the car carefully!

1-Star Review -- FORMAL ESCALATION / NO RESPONSE FROM HERTZ…read more HERTZ -- I AM STILL WAITING FOR A RESPONSE. I am updating my review because, despite submitting a formal executive complaint and providing Hertz with detailed documentation of my experience, I have still received no meaningful response or resolution. This is no longer simply a complaint about a bad rental. My rental began May 29, 2026, through a State Farm insurance claim. Over the course of this rental experience, I dealt with multiple vehicle exchanges, repeated mechanical and safety concerns, roadside-assistance cases, inconsistent information from different Hertz locations, management communication failures, financial issues, and ultimately an unexpected vehicle recovery. Among the vehicles involved were: * 2026 Toyota Highlander -- severe pulling to the right and left * 2026 Dodge Durango -- front-end jumping * 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee -- flashing check-engine light * 2024 Ford Mustang -- temporary replacement I was not permitted to retain for my return to Detroit * 2026 Jeep Wrangler -- ultimately recovered by Hertz I repeatedly reported vehicle concerns and contacted Hertz Emergency Roadside Assistance. Roadside Assistance Case #33922507 Roadside Assistance Case #33778325 I also have documentation showing that Hertz authorized an oil change for the Jeep Wrangler on July 27, 2026, which I had completed at Pep Boys. Then, on August 12, 2026, I woke up to discover a tow truck loading the Hertz vehicle onto a flatbed. No one knocked on the door. No one provided me advance notice. No one gave me an opportunity to resolve the rental or make a payment. During the recovery, I witnessed the towing operation and allege that the vehicle was dragged onto the flatbed in a manner that resulted in damage to the edge of my brother's neighbor's lawn. I have photographs and video documentation of this incident. Afterward, I spent more than two hours dealing with Hertz by phone, being transferred between departments while attempting to understand what had happened. I was eventually told that the vehicle was in "repossession," rather than "theft." I subsequently prepared and submitted a formal executive complaint, including: * Rental records * State Farm claim information * Vehicle information * Roadside-assistance case numbers * Maintenance documentation * Photographs * Videos * Financial documentation * Communications * A chronological account of the incidents * A formal request for investigation and compensation And Hertz still has not provided me with a meaningful response. At this point, my concern isn't simply the condition of the vehicles. It is the apparent lack of accountability after repeatedly reporting safety concerns and making good-faith attempts to resolve the situation. I am asking Hertz publicly: Who is taking ownership of this complaint? Who is reviewing the vehicle safety issues? Who is reviewing the August 12 recovery? Who is reviewing the alleged property damage? Who is reviewing the July 27 maintenance authorization? And when will Hertz provide an actual response to the customer who has been trying to resolve this for months? I have preserved my original documentation and am prepared to provide it to the appropriate parties. I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking Hertz to take responsibility, investigate what happened, and provide a reasonable resolution. At this point, based on the experience I've had and the continued lack of meaningful communication, I cannot recommend Hertz to someone who needs reliable transportation and expects responsive customer service when something goes wrong. Hertz -- I am still waiting for your response.

This is so much more than just a used car dealer. First, Wael buys and sells cars internationally…read more He also sells new cars. In addition to car sales, Nick is an excellent mechanic who works on cars they sell and other cars, as well. He was able to replace a part on my 25-year-old classic air-cooled Porcshe which most mechanics won't touch, even at dealerships. Additionally, Wael and Nick both go out of their way to do everything possible to make your car situation well work for you. Forget the stereotypes about car dealers. These are real people who I am proud to be associated with. I have had experiences with dealers and mechanics who are less than completely honest. I trust Wael and Nick like they were my own brothers. Give Classic City Cars a visit if you are in the car market or just need a great mechanic for your current ride.

Wael was courteous and knowledgeable about classic cars, and he had a surprisingly good selection. Further, he offered to keep an eye out for clean versions of a few of my bucket-list projects. Ultimately, I bought a great, low-mileage Land-rover Defender 110 that was very clean and honestly represented at a fair price. Wael agreed (and took his own time) to take the vehicle to an inspection of my choice prior to the purchase. The inspection confirmed the condition of the vehicle represented. After that, the negotiation was minimal, the sales process simple, and the registration/titling was all handled thoroughly. Wael even followed-up in person with the Secretary of State to ensure all the paperwork was correctly processed. I'd gladly recommend Classic City Cars to anyone.
