I kind of laughed and thought, there's no way these companies could really be 1st choice, right? But in fact they are. Michael came out and assessed the plumbing work for a master bath remodel. He was on time for the estimate and gave me a quote soon after and explained upfront that if certain conditions existed when they demolished the existing drywall, additional costs might be incurred. After demo, we learned (as Michael warned us) that certain plumbing needed to be rerouted in our older home. The additional costs were reasonable and within the range of what Michael estimated. Michael handled both rough in and finish plumbing. He was patient and attentive to certain things we wanted done a particular way, e.g., the exact location of some of our fixtures. As all projects do, we ran into a glitch. At first I worried that it would be major. Once Michael diagnosed the error, he was prompt in taking steps to make it right. I think the sign of good contractor is not only how they perform when everything works perfectly, but how they perform when things don't. Lazlo has been a refreshing person to work since COVID. Prices have skyrocketed since the COVID…read moreyears. My friend referred me to Lazlo and said this was the best plumber he's used before. I have had him install a tankless water heater (much cheaper than my neighbor who had installed exact same water heater) that has been working great. I then had him change out a shiwer valve and an angle stop. Since he did such a great job, I had him change out 8 angle stops, a pressure regulator and shut off valve and replaced some pipes at another property. Lazlo may not be a talker, but he's great at his trade and is quick and efficient. I am referring him to my friends. Just a FYI, I believe he is a sole proprietary business he is not someone to call in an emergency. But if you can wait until his schedule opens up, he would be a great person to call.
