Day two and it's been a great experience. When we arrived checkin was so easy. Dylan walked us to our room and gave us a tour. He sat us down and made it so easy to plan our week. By far best experience I have had. We set up a presentation for the timeshare and we bought in. Impressed with how this timeshare is run. Eden was so great, she perfectly walked us through it and it was great.

The buffet was awful, the only thing I enjoyed there was the omelettes made at the omelette counter and the fruit. The best place to dine was the sports bar only for their mozzarella sticks and Caesar salad. The resort has two sides the left side with the tiki hut had awful service, it took 30 min to an hour for us to even get asked if we needed anything and sometimes had to waive down the waiter. After waiting 30 to an hour to get our order in it's another 30 min to an hour wait to get our food/drinks. The side withought the tiki hut had amazing service, Moses was our waiter and he did an amazing job making sure we were taken care of !! Very nice guy We enjoyed our room, it was clean and AC worked. The elevators stopped working half of our trip which was unfortunate. The mexican restraint hacienda seines was not good, the worst food I've ever had. The hotel itself was beautiful and some of the staff seemed miserable and gave the cold shoulder.

We're a young married couple that came here for 6 days and purchased on a cheap budget, including flights! Absolutely amazing. Good was great and were some foodies, service was awesome the staff seemed to have fun w us and helped this family resort turn up which was perfect for us bc we wanted somewhere in the middle of party and chill. Clean, everything was accommodating, go here for a romantic fun getaway or a family trip. Shoutout to Nat the concierge for making our reservations for the yummy restaurants on site and handling all the small details so we didn't have to (also included!) oh, and beautiful beach!!!

The Royal Sands is a great vacation resort. It's a very large property. The staff is friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Our all inclusive package was well worth it. My only 'complaint' is that we didn't know that we'd have to attend a membership sales presentation. But even that was done in a friendly no pressure manner.

I booked a 4-night stay at royal Cancun. Unfortunately, the morning after check-in, my wife became ill due to the poor conditions of the room because of mold. So I had to contact Priceline.com to cancel the remaining 3 nights. However, they informed me that I would only receive a refund for the last 2 nights, while still being charged for the night that made my wife sick and another night I could not stay. When I requested to at least use the second night that I was already charged for, the hotel refused, claiming that their system had already checked me out without my consent. This is a scam. I had no choice but to involve the police to report the situation. The resort's service is poor, the room conditions are unhealthy, and the online photos and reviews are misleading. Their practice of double-charging guests and finding ways to profit dishonestly is unacceptable. I am sharing this experience to warn others about the real environment and service here. I strongly do not recommend this resort, nor booking through Priceline.

Nice place... The views of the beach from the beachfront condos were amazing. Felt like I was living in a Corona commercial...brilliant! The rooms were nice and clean, with plenty of amenities. Actually our "room" was basically a one bedroom apartment with a kitchen and a bathroom. Just about everything you could think off was available; Refrigerator, Coffee Maker, Stove, Utensils, Dishes, Dishwasher etc. We even had two Murphy beds in the spacious living room! Brilliant! Interaction with the staff was always pleasant and helpful...no complaints. With several massive pools and hot tubs available, there was plenty of aquatic activities for everybody. Can't forget to mention the beach and the Ocean as the backyard. Plenty of The upkeep and cleanliness of the entire venue was impressive. Lovely place to stay...

Resort itself is nice and clean. Amazing view as soon as you walk in those doors! Pool areas are fun for all ages!! Pool side drinks are better than restaurant drinks... The air freshener through out the resort will drive some crazy!!! It's very strong! All inclusive..... sike! Surcharges on all the "good drinks and food" and I am exaggerating on the good part. ROOM SERVICE is trash!!!! Do not recommend!!! I liked the Veranda's lunch Buffett and the sister hotel Royal Cancun's Italian restaurant. Loved that you have the option to hang out at either hotel and eat there. The Royal Cancun beach area is smaller but more accommodating to children that want to swim in the ocean. Royal Sands waters are rougher and kinda scary for the little ones. Try not all inclusive and go out of the resort to eat! No cash resort.... We brought a lot of pesos to use and couldn't use them there! Everything is close by!!! Walking distance to LA ISLA 1 and 2... and lots of restaurants. Unfortunately we didn't try any... except for the one at the aquarium at ISLA 1. 3 stars is mainly for the staff! They are amazing hard working and super nice!!! Everyone we encountered was amazing!

We visited this hotel on Sunday, because it is one of the three Royal Resorts in the Cancun area. Food: We decided to grab a light lunch after a few hours in the sun. The food came out very fast and hot. Of course I had to add my own salt and pepper, but overall everything we ordered was delicious.  Customer Service: Our waiter at the restaurant was very patient, friendly, and helpful. He was very attentive and kept coming back to our table and checking to see see if we needed anything. We really enjoyed everything we ordered, and there was no issues with paying our bill even though we were staying at another Royal Resorts hotel.  Staff: Everyone from the shuttle bus driver, front desk, pool towels, and the restaurant was very professional. It's very apparent that their staff really goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone's  experiences are excellent.  Beach & pools: This resort is alot more lively and there seemed to be more younger guests than older. So there seemed to be more pool events going on, as well as it was much more crowded than the other two resorts. The beach is an easy and short walk from the pools, if you desire to swim in the ocean or just walk the beach. The sand was soft but we noticed that there was more sharp shells, so I'd recommend wearing flip flops on the beach. TIPS: There is a free resort shuttle that runs between the three hotels, so their guests can ride comfortable in an air conditioned bus.

I whet to there for 5 days and here is why I rate it 3 . The ice cream machine was broken . I almost whent out of the big green slide, and I stubbed my to on the blue. And the room was ok but needed to have pop in the fridge when you just came. And the buffet sucked. And room service was to long. the kids club sucked.and finally why do you need a kitchen In the room? if you're going to the whole family, I would the dreams in the area.

The staff is very helpful, and no issues communicating in English. The beach the resort is on is beautiful, white sand, blue water. Plenty of beach chairs and a 1 hour reserve limit so people can't just put their stuff on chairs and leave it for hours. First night there we ate at Sidelines, the onsite bar/restaurant. I got food poisoning and my entire night was spent on the toilet. IMHO, the all-inclusive isn't worth it. The food is just okay at best, food poisoning at worst. The drinks included aren't good, ordered a mojito from sidelines and neither of us could stomach it. Dos XX is an included beer and it always tasted soapy, no matter which restaurant it came from. We ordered room service a couple of times and it always came quit faster than quoted times. The room was clean, far from luxury. Sheets were very itchy and uncomfortable pillows. The toaster in the room was broken. Shower is small and dated. I'll be looking for a different hotel if I go back to Cancun.

$580~ for a week's stay is AMAZING. So many amenities, truly not enough time. I stayed with a group of 20+ friends and acquaintances that booked rooms in bulk, which might have contributed to the incredible price. For COVID safety purposes, staff wear masks and hand sanitizer is provided throughout the resort. Masks are encouraged but not required. I split a suite with three friends-- the suite consisted of: two rooms (2 pulldown beds, 1 master bed), a kitchenette, a walk-in closet, 1 cramped bathroom w/shower, and a balcony view to the ocean. PROS: - Easy to book shuttle to/from airport (with Thomas More Travel) - 24/7 staff available + room service, staff are incredibly friendly though I'm sure that they face 100 million Karens a day - Impeccably clean rooms and amenities, including spa, tourist center, multiple pools with swim up bars and hot tubs - Literally bars everywhere (all inclusive!), including beachside service - AYCE buffet for every meal, with different themes each night (LOL @ "Oriental Night") - Daily recreational activities at the pool and community area - Close to (or a short bus ride away) from shopping centers and restaurants - Free airport-approved COVID testing at the time we were there (I believe they now charge $100+ for quick turnaround testing) CONS: - Room service will take hours to arrive - Definitely an older building (apparently used to be a timeshare) with the occasional cracks and rusting - Low water pressure, at least in our shower and toilet - Beaches can have a lot of scratchy seaweed close to shore, but depends on the time of day Still, not much to complain about while we were here. Perfect weather in April, with just enough sea breeze to cool you down. The food was great (a lot of healthy options!) and the facilities were lovely. My only regret is not bringing enough cash to tip throughout the entire trip. So many of our kind and attentive local staff members worked so hard to keep us tourists happy, I wish I could've had more cash to express my appreciation. NOTE: Everything is on paper receipts (and in Spanish), and additional costs (like specialty drinks during meals) will be charged on the card presented at check-in. Not much is digitized, so hang into those sheets and take notes when it comes to Venmo requesting your friends.

We Stay in this incredible place from May 21 to 31 because my sister is a member so yes is a time share but is an awesome one, however u can book if u are not a member but then options are linited in the all inclusive. The location is great. Right on the beach, right across the street from the shops of La Isla (the island). The staff was magnificent in all aspects. We got lucky and were upgraded to a PentHouse corner suite. Spacious and the view of the Caribbean as you would expect was tremendous. One of the main eye catching features of this hotel is its expansive 2 family pool with swim up bar. Huge and beautiful. There's also an adjoining Olympic length lap pool (recall it being 3 lane). There's also a separate adult pool area. All the pools had plenty of chairs. Lastly a larger than normal jacuzzi (and one right next to it under construction). And of course you can't forget the largest water feature steps away with plenty of beach, chairs, palapas, and umbrellas. This is an all inclusive resort, so food and drink are never far away. We did a couple of breaks in the weather so got to enjoy the poolside cafe which was excellent. (Great margaritas and everyone should try the cranberry mojito if you are into that sort of thing. Delicious. And dangerous. Hard to stop at one) For the most part the food is filling and plentiful. One does not choose all inclusive because you want to excite a discerning palate. One does benefit from options. Options on property and a number restaurants off property as well. The resorts offers complimentary shuttles. The restaurant staff were welcoming, attentive, and efficient. Great service all around. On the beach the palapas are awesome but the beach is dirty in some areas because the sargasum and they only mix it up with the sand but they don't removed it so when u try to swim some areas are cover and hurst ur body specially if you are sunburn. Not sure if the hotel has the responsibility to removed it or is the government. Though we were hunkered down in our room a couple of days because a storm was near by, the resort still providing a relaxing few days to unwind. Face it. It's hard not to have a good time in Cancun.

We had an amazing experience from bell boys, lobby, staff and the food. All were nice and accommodating - everyone is just easy to approach and try best to communicate what was needed. The rockstar employee Viktor and Jennifer was super awesome! Everyone was working hard to ensure that their guest's stay will be amazing. The room was neat and all of the facilities and activities they are offering for free was on point. The free bus shuttle drivers were all nice. They also have a lot more restaurant options aside from the one inside the hotel which is included in your All Inclusive package - most of them need to have smart casual wear and reservation so take note of that. The only reason I give 4 stars is because of what happened after a room service. My beauty blender foam had a permanent marker written on it, not a big deal since I can buy a new one but I am more paranoid what else has been touched or used in our stuff. Since then we didn't ask for room service. The lobby manager just told us that the staff only move my stuff and that's it. We do not have permanent marker or thick pens like that so it is only common sense who did that unless someone else whom we don't know get in our room without anyone of us knowing. I can attach here the photo.

Sometimes all inclusive hotels can feel gimmicky, like being on a cruise ship or something. This was not that at all. This was a high end experience from start to finish. The hotel service and facilities are impeccable. I was blown away by the care they take to tend to each guest. I was only there for a few days and people took the effort to learn my name and my personal preferences. To start, the room was incredible. I stayed in a suite and it had a juccuzi right inside the room and an ocean view with a hammock. The room also came with a mini bar which was restocked daily (although you could also call and request anything at any time). Every day they had a different schedule of activities for guests with quality entertainment (not tacky acts). They had all all white party with a circus one day which was fun, a foam party, bull riding and more. The food deserves its own review. It exceed my expectations by a lot. They had several food options to choose from, including an Asian restaurant, a Mediterranean restaurant, a mexican restaurant a cafe and a global buffet. The restaurants were all open extended hours until 10 or 10:30 so there were always food options available. The global buffet did different themed dinners every night. Of the restaurants, I liked all but I'd say the Mediterranean was the most high quality. The preparation and taste was on par with any top NYC restaurant. The octopus dish was especially memorable. Second favorite was probably the Mexican restaurant. They have a chef from Oaxaca who makes a great mole. At each restaurant, the managers always made an effort to stop by my table to make sure I had what I needed. The employees genuinely care about serving you and they do it gladly. Sometimes you go to places where the employees are disgruntled or have a bad attitude. Not the case here at all. Everyone seemed generally happy and in a good mood. It felt like most of the people here were celebrating something, whether a bachelorette party or birthday, but it didn't feel overall raucous or anything. They had a silent disco one night and I think that also helped with any potential late night noise issues. I was really impressed with how well curated the schedule of activities was. Additionally, the hotel was very clean. When I first got in, people were mopping. They're constantly changing pool towels that are left out. Everything was spotless. The sheets were crisp and white. My room was changed to my liking. No complaints. One of the better places I've stayed. I would definitely come back in a heart beat. I loved it here!

Of course. This was not my first visit to Hyatt Zilara Cancun and it was actually my amazing experience here in 2019 that started my loyalty to Hyatt. I am currently a World of Hyatt Discoverist member, and after my first visit to Zilara, we loved the Hyatt experience so much that we chose Hyatt Ziva for our vow renewal in 2022. Because of that, returning to Zilara was something I had looked forward to for years. First, the staff at this resort deserves so much recognition. My concerns are not a reflection of the employees because the service was consistently excellent throughout our stay. From before we even arrived to our final day, everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely wanted guests to have a great experience. Before our trip, Eddie reached out as our concierge and was extremely helpful in making sure we were prepared for our stay. He helped coordinate our spa services ahead of time and assisted us with securing a late checkout, which made our trip much smoother and more relaxing. At check-in, Luis helped us on the World of Hyatt side and was wonderful. He explained the changes and additions to the resort, helped us understand reservations, and made sure we had the information we needed. Throughout the resort, the service remained consistent. Even when I had a meal I didn't enjoy, a staff member at the teppanyaki restaurant was genuinely concerned, offered alternatives, and wanted to make it right. That level of care stood out. Our room was excellent. We stayed on the fifth floor in a corner room and it was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was fantastic, and I loved the pillows so much I am actually trying to find out what kind they are so I can buy them for home. The bathroom was great, especially the mirror with multiple lighting options. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water, which I always appreciate. The only thing I personally missed was having a bathtub, but overall I had no complaints about the room. The resort itself is beautiful and extremely clean. The pool area is relaxing with comfortable chairs, and it was never difficult to find a place to sit. The atmosphere is definitely more quiet and relaxing rather than a party environment, which can be a positive depending on the type of trip you want. The beach was well maintained, especially considering the seaweed situation during our visit. The staff worked hard to keep it cleaned up, and the things outside of the resort's control, like weather and ocean conditions, did not impact my opinion. The spa was absolutely phenomenal and I wrote a separate review specifically for that experience because it deserves its own recognition. The gym was also impressive for a resort gym. There was plenty of equipment, treadmills, a stretching/yoga space, and even a Pilates studio. I was hoping to participate in Pilates, but the class filled up quickly. I thought the fitness offerings were a nice addition. Where this stay fell short for me was the food. At an all-inclusive resort, the food experience is such a huge part of the overall value because you are eating every meal on property. When we visited in 2019, one of our favorite memories was eating at Pelicanos by the pool, so we were excited to return there first. We knew things had changed since our last visit, but unfortunately the quality and options did not feel the same. We tried several restaurants, and while the service was always great, the food itself was disappointing. The Italian restaurant felt very bland overall, although the bread service and tiramisu were enjoyable. The cacio e pepe and pasta dishes did not meet expectations. The teppanyaki experience also was not what I expected. I was hoping for more of a traditional hibachi-style experience, and the meat quality was disappointing. The buffet was fine, especially breakfast, but nothing really stood out. Room service was quick and the staff was friendly, but again the food itself was not something we loved. My favorite treat on property ended up being the ice cream at the coffee shop. The biggest thing I missed was having easy poolside food options. When I'm at an all-inclusive, I love being able to relax by the pool and grab things like quesadillas, ceviche, or small bites without stopping the pool day. The lack of that type of experience was probably my biggest disappointment. Drinks and pool service were great, and the staff did a wonderful job checking on guests. I personally don't drink alcohol, but it was clear they were attentive with beverages. Entertainment was limited compared to some other all-inclusive resorts. There were some activities and a few performances, but not the larger

They also do evening turndown service between about 6 and 9, which I liked more than I thought I would. The food was hit or miss. Sea Corner was easily the biggest disappointment. You really have to like ceviche to enjoy that spot. I tried the battered fish taco, which was a really small rolled fried fish taco and honestly tasted kind of stale. The red snapper tostada was okay, but still pretty subpar. Overall, Sea Corner is one I would skip. Ciete's breakfast buffet was decent, but still very buffet. Some of the food had that stale, been-sitting-out-too-long taste, but the omelet bar and fresh juice/smoothie bar helped a lot. They have two omelet bars, which spreads people out, and Marco at the smoothie bar was awesome. He remembered me after my first smoothie and was friendly the rest of the trip. Azure was pretty good. We split hummus and pita, and I got the chicken in red wine. The chicken was cooked perfectly and came on a bed of mashed potatoes that were really good. Dessert was just okay. The baklava was very cinnamon-heavy and almost tasted like a churro. MB was good and definitely felt like their "dress up" restaurant. I had the stuffed chicken, my girlfriend had the veal cheek, and we also tried the filet mignon. The filet was cooked perfectly medium rare, and the meal overall was good. Not amazing, but one of the better dinners there. Hidden Garden was probably our favorite restaurant. We went there twice because it was that good compared to the other options. The samosas, gyoza, chicken satay, shrimp fried rice, and desserts were all really good. The Thao, basically their version of orange chicken, was also really good. The pad Thai was okay, but sweeter than I prefer. Their signature cocktails were also really good. The Thursday night show was a nice part of the trip. They had a buffet by the pool, with a mariachi band from 7 to 8 and traditional Mexican dancing from 8 to 9. The dancing was almost like a theater-style show, and that part was great. The buffet was on par or slightly below par. They had a crepe bar, a grill with pretty good steak and chicken, and a couple decent soups, but a lot of it still had that left-out-too-long, slightly stale buffet taste. The entertainment and activities were a big highlight. Trivia every night was great, and karaoke was a blast once people started getting into it. Pablo hosted trivia and karaoke with Jorge as the DJ, and Pablo brought a lot of energy. Jorge also DJs at Egos later at night, and they played a good mix of American dance music and Latin dance music. During the day, we tried archery, water aerobics, bingo, the guacamole class, casino night, and a self-facial class. Archery was a blast, and aqua aerobics in the infinity pool was really fun. Ricky was a ball of energy, and Jocelyn was really cool too. The activities did not feel like boring resort filler, which was a nice surprise. A few things could be better. Pool towel service closes at 6, even though people are still in the pool later. There is also basically no shade in most of the pools, so you get crispy pretty fast. They also need to be clearer about which pool beds are first-come, first-serve and which ones are paid or for Club Aqua. I saw multiple people get moved because it was not explained well. Communication could be better too. Some restaurants are closed on certain days, probably because the resort was around 50% capacity, but they should give you a schedule at check-in. We planned to try Verana, their Italian restaurant, and then found out it was closed that day. The humidity is something to think about. Obviously it is Cancun, but the indoor areas and hallways do not have much air circulation. Our fourth-floor hallway also had a broken water feature with sitting water, and I think that made the hallway smell more humid and musky than the rest of the resort. The drinks were decent, but I would not go in expecting strong resort cocktails. I drank margaritas and pina coladas most of the trip and never really felt much from them. For stronger drinks, shots are probably the better route. Overall, Live Aqua Cancun was a really nice, relaxing trip. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the activities were way more fun than expected, and Hidden Garden was a nice surprise. The food is not amazing across the board, the pool setup could be better, and communication could use work, but I still had a really good time. Good resort, not perfect, but definitely worth checking out.

Marie, Frank and America = the ultimate trio butlers to have during your stay…read moreWe ran into Marie more often and absolutely just loved her warmth and hospitality Everything here is everything you need. From beautiful sunrise to sunset, it's a must come. Mercado Buffet - (as pictured) the woman who was there everyday when I was there, was the bomb! Made tacos so promptly and they were so yummy. Definitely I looked forward to every morning! Habanero - Rafael M., we saw him on our last day. But never have I ever seen anyone so hard in such hot weather and be grateful to meet, greet, serve so many people and still put a smile on his face. If we went the beginning of our trip, I don't doubt we would have been there every single day because of him! The Spa - CESAR! Sofia and Sara are the people you need to cross paths. Cesar is the one who got us in. Never did he rush us, he wanted us to enjoy our time at the pool and he circled back with kindness. And that's the only reason why we committed to the spa! Sofia and Sara were our people at the Spa, and boy did they put in work! I felt so relaxed and decompressed at the end of our trip because of them!!! Tradewinds - Araceli, the one who made our last day special. I told her it was our last day, and she brought the whole staff to sing and had us wear a big sombrero! It was so heartwarming and it made my heart sink, and did not make me want to leave!! The French restaurant is also a must! Loved the potato leek soup and the lamb rack. The Italian restaurant had amazing cheese mushroom pizza! I've been to Hyatt Los Cabo's, and the one thing Cancun didn't have was to go boxes due to regulations. The dolphins are such a cute thing to wake up to and was such a nice thing to do for family and people! We stayed at the Turquoise building. Loved the bath outside the room! It was my birthday, and my boyfriend and the staff really made it beyond special. From roses to balloons, to cards, to the simplest reminder of all them knowing it was my birthday and wishing me the best. You will hear a lot of, welcome family or hi family. And by the end of the trip, you will really feel that they really did become your family. 100/100 recommend this place!!!

Unfortunately, for the past two years, our experiences have declined significantly. The hotel no longer maintains the level of service and standards we once loved. The atmosphere feels different, the staff are not as welcoming, and there is a noticeable lack of attentiveness and care. During this stay, we had a particularly unpleasant two-day experience at the beach regarding the setup of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Rather than going into every detail, I will simply say the situation was handled poorly and left us very disappointed. What was most upsetting was that no meaningful effort was made to resolve the issue or make up for the inconvenience. Even after speaking with Guest Relations, who mentioned contacting the General Manager, nothing improved the following day. No accommodation or gesture was offered, which was surprising given the hotel's luxury positioning. It is also noticeable that the property feels quite empty during weekdays, except on special occasions or long weekends. Even then, the warmth and hospitality we once associated with this hotel seem to be missing. That said, I want to sincerely recognize Valenzo, who served us daily. He was professional, kind, and incredibly attentive. We never had to ask for anything, he would notice small details, like refilling ice before we even realized it was melting. His service was outstanding and he truly tried to make our stay better. Thank you, Valenzo. You made a difference. It is genuinely sad to see a place that once meant so much to us lose its standard. We hope management takes guest feedback seriously and invests in retraining staff to restore the level of service this property was once known for.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and were looking forward to a relaxing vacation. We arrived early, 7:30AM and our private transportation picked us up after about 15-20 minutes after arriving. After a quick drive to the resort, we checked in. No welcome towel service nor welcome drink, but we received a warm neck wrap. Unfortunately, our room wasn't ready until 11:30AM, so we walked around to explore the property and have breakfast. We received a text message from the lobby that our room was ready and to return to the front desk. We were told our room number and that our luggage would be delivered shortly. The room had a beautiful view of the ocean, clean, stocked with snacks and drinks ,and over all nice. We unpacked ourselves and headed to the pool. While we were on the way, we met our butler who's desk is located in the hallway of the elevators. At that time we were connected to a WhatsApp group text. Then we returned to our room with our butler, who reviewed the amenities and light switches in our room. We ate at all the restaurants. We went to Blanc and Terraza for breakfast and our 2 favorite restaurants for dinner were Bella and Yama. Unfortunately, on a few occasions, Terraza and Yama served us cold food, as if they were sitting out too long. We tried scheduling room service breakfast and they were behind in schedule 30-40 minutes. We were underwhelmed as the room service menu as it wasn't as grand as the other palace resorts; we were looking forward to the chocolate cake; which wasn't available. The K'akau, coffee shop was the best to relieve our chocolate cravings. The main pool lounge chairs were always taken, so get there early. We relaxed at all the pools and depending on the day had our favorite. The beach is beautiful and the lifeguard at the tower was always welcoming and helpful to get us lounge chairs. The spa services and hydrotherapy were wonderful, but we were disappointed that the men and women were separated in the pool and jacuzzi areas. We ran into difficulties with our dinner and spa bookings. We made prior arrangements with our pre-concierge, but when we wanted to change our schedule, the on site concierge didn't have access to canceling them. We were told to email our pre-concierge to ask her to delete them from the system. Our pre-concierge also didn't confirm our restaurant bookings for certain days and so we had to ask our Butler if they were booked. What was the most disappointing was the evening entertainment. We were looking forward to certain shows/performances and then a few hours before the scheduled time, seeing the entertainment was removed and replaced with something mundane. We've been to Sun Palace, another adult only resort, down the road and after our experience at Le Blanc, we actually prefer Sun Palace over Le Blanc. From our experience.. Le Blanc is a great place if you enjoy the spa, peace and quiet, and want to just chill and lounge. But if you want a little more excitement, fun, music, and meet people and have great conversations, Sun Palace is the place. Our Butler, Rene on the 3rd floor was awesome. He made our anniversary special. Safety: We felt safe. When we arrived at the resort after walking down the hotel zone, security always checked us in. When we arrived via taxi or uber, they did the same thing. If you walked out to the beach, you have to scan your bracelet to exit the gate and also scan it the when you enter back onto the resort property. Elevators: There are 3 elevators and during our stay, 1 was always out of order. One day, 2 elevators were out of order. Luckily, we were only on the 3rd floor, so we often took the stairs. The stairwell does need more lighting, it is dark, so watch your step.

Housekeeping replaced them, but the odor and overall condition never improved. Not what you expect at this level. Then it got worse. We had two rooms, one at this hotel and one at a neighboring hotel where a large group of our family was staying. That other hotel requires wristbands, which we had, so security here assumed we didn't belong, even though we had rooms at this property. At the pool, they approached us publicly and repeatedly questioned us, over and over, in front of everyone. No attempt to verify privately, no discretion, just standing over us and making a scene. It was humiliating. Then it happened again. While checking out, we crossed back onto this property to retrieve our luggage that they were holding. Security stopped us again and treated us like we were doing something wrong, only to confirm, once again, that we were legitimate guests. Two separate incidents. Same behavior. The level of aggression and lack of professionalism from security is completely out of control. This is not how paying guests should ever be treated. This wasn't just a misunderstanding, it was a failure in how guests are handled, and it happened more than once. We will never stay here again.

There is a 24 hour refreshment spot, but the food is only so so. Just for a quick sandwich or fruit. They do have a beer tap and a few selections of liquor available there for self service as well. The pool and beach area had plenty of chairs and umbrellas. If you don't see any available just ask and they will make it happen if possible. My complaint about the pool would be they close at 7:00. One small pool stay open until 8:00. Way too early for an adult only. I suggest if you want to do excursions to go straight across the street to one of the stands. If you know what you want to do they are a much better deal, but be certain you know where you want to go. make sure and get transportation included in your excursion. Also in that area there is the Bamboo Spa. You can get a massage for less than half at the resort spa. They did a very good job and were very professional. Not a "happy endings" type of place. The drinks are pretty light and when you ask for something other than the house liquor I'm pretty sure it didn't happen all the time.
