First time trying this place. Need my car to show room shine, as needed, to show the dealerships for a trade-in. Ask for the Royal Wash and paid $46.99. Will say they cleaned all the dead bugs off my front car and Window. The dashboard is very shiny. Something I know hard to see when driving. Also took the time to clean the inside of my car before taking it there so they can focus more on the outside as that's what I needed more time on. Hope to be back. They just forgot the car vents and the area something feels hard to miss when you're paying that extra amount. Who wants to babysit them doing your car... Quick update to this review: I was reading other reviews, and one person mentioned that people complaining about their trunk (cargo area) not getting vacuumed shouldn't because they don't vacuum trunks, supposedly like every other place. I checked Royal Spa's website, which says they'll clean the interior. Perhaps they don't consider a car trunk to be "interior," but a cargo area IS "interior" in an SUV. If it isn't, then why did the employee working on my car open the back? What was he doing in there? If they don't vacuum cargo areas, they need to specify it on their website. I'm not sure if their signs say it at the location, but next time I go, I'll be sure to look. Either way, it still doesn't excuse the poor wipe down the cargo area received, and it doesn't explain why the cargo area has indeed looked vacuumed in past visits. Initial review: I've been here a few times and have been mostly pleased by the location and service. Today was an exception. I arrived on a Saturday in April around 1:15. I expected a long wait based on the amount of cars I saw, but was pleased to know it would only be about 45 minutes, which it was. The location is clean, stocked with food, drinks, and pastries and has many chairs, so I was comfortable. The purchased the Royal wash, their highest package. At $45, the price is good, but I didn't know there was an extra charge for my vehicle size, a midsized SUV, until I questioned the total at the checkout register. The extra charge wasn't bad, about $5. I've encountered the cashier several times, and she isn't very welcoming, although she does and good job keeping the waiting area in order. As for the final product, my vehicle looked good inside and out except the cargo area. As shown in the attached pictures, the cargo area wasn't vacuumed (or if it was, it wasn't done well). I saw the person handling the vehicle interior open the cargo area, so it's not like no one noticed that it hadn't been vacuumed. Further, while his job might not have been vacuuming, he was responsible for wiping down interior panels, and clearly missed sections in the cargo area. (I would have mentioned all this to an employee before I left, but I didn't notice the oversight until I returned home and put something in the cargo area.) He didn't seem to notify anyone that the cargo area hadn't been vacuumed. Also, there was a small piece of trash left in a handle in the cargo area. I had cleaned out the interior of all trash prior to arriving, but perhaps I overlooked this one. Removing it would have been a simple, one-second task that no one bothered to do. Sure, perhaps they overlooked it, too, but it's one of several things they overlooked, which adds up to poor overall attention to detail on their part. I paid for the top tier service, plus an oversized vehicle fee, and tipped, and received less than stellar service. I would have given two stars, except for the fact that I've been here before and was pleased with prior service. If the cashier can be more welcoming and the team can pay closer attention to details and check with each other if a tasked is overlooked, they could easily provide five-star services. I will return to this location, and I'm sure they'll do better next time. read more

I spent over $50 to get my car cleaned. I had to pull the technician back to clean my wheels at the pulling back to clean the inside of my doors and then as I was driving off, I noticed that he didn't even completely wipe off my dash it still have spots on my dash, and he never cleaned the cup cleaner, and if you wanna respond to this ownership you can and I can send you pictures of how you never even cleaned the cupholders and I've paid for an interior cleaning as well will never be back. I purchased the ultimate car wash with tip it was a little over $45. My car is pretty clean already. I like to keep it that way. The windows were not even touched and there were the spots on the hood that should have been wiped off. The reason I went was because I'm injured and cannot do it myself. One of the last if not the last full service car wash in the Antelope Valley. I always have been satisfied with my car washes. I look at the photos of people complaining their trunk wasn't vacuumed or the Gatorade stains weren't removed and chuckle. They don't vacuum trunks, the inside of door handles or arm rests. They vacuum the seats and the floor. Just like every other car wash for regular washes. As for stains, unless you have your carpets and seats shampooed, they aren't going to remove your stains from your seats and carpets. Just like every other car wash. If you want a full detail their price is comparable to other full service car washes and they do a comparable job. read more

I went to this location for close to 5 years. I used to love it. It went downhill. I paid about 40 dollars plus a 10 dollar tip for this awful work. Avoid this place at all costs. I'll keep posting this review if you keep asking yelp to take it down lol. You can't hide bad business, but nice try! Maybe try doing the work properly for the ridiculous prices you charge. Got my car completely detailed here for $250. So it wasn't as bad as it seems but there were some things that got under my skin. I paid for my seats to be shampooed and some stains were still left on the seat. All my seats had some kind of lint of some sorts left on them. I paid $220 for my floor mats and I don't know how they cleaned them, but now they're bent and look uneven in my truck. The exterior was washed well although whoever dried it needs a clean towel as some spots had dirt from the towels. It took 4 hours so I just took an Uber back to my place instead of waiting inside where it's hot. I think with just these minor easy fixes they can stand out against the competition but it's Palmdale so not much to expect Overall, the job was done somewhat decent. The annoying cons were definitely the lint and my mats now not fitting. Might take it here next time and give them a second chance to fix these issues. Will update when I do. read more

This car wash is so overpriced! $25.99 to get a wash with a cheap air freshener and tire shine. The job on my car is mediocre at best. The cashier was so rude. In order to use their coupon, you have to print it... who doesn't accept showing the coupon on their device?? The kicker... they charge $.75 per card transaction (credit and debit). We are in 2020, charging to use your card is so petty. They charge a ridiculous amount for a crappy wash and continue to make money by charging a card fee. I appreciate the work you guys do however, it could have been better. Compare to a Mobil detail car wash service which they do charger much more but gets a much better result. Was there on Saturday and they scratched my car. When I tried to talk with the manager about the scratches he just kept saying, 'my guys don't do that', and shooing me away. When I said that one of his crew must have something sharp in their pockets or a belt on he said, 'my guys do what i tell them'. The scratches are right where you would lean against the car to dry off the roof. I have been going here for years. I told him I would not be coming back and he said that was fine. Came here for the first time on Saturday afternoon. The place was busy but not overcrowded. From start to finish we were probably there about 1/2 hour. The employees did an excellent job on the hand wash and on the final drying and window cleaning. I was very happy with the results. It cost $18.99 for the car wash plus $3.00 because I have a van and then $0.75 because I used a debit card to pay. They also have a discount card that you can use after getting 10 (I think) washes. Car hasn't liked this good in years! They did a fantastic job cleaning the inside and outside.

I cannot believe I wasn't informed that they'd use Armor-All all over the inside of my car. I asked for my seats to be cleaned (leather, of course), they asked "conditioned". Naturally I said yes. I get in my car, try to drive around this horrible place called Palmdale the sun hitting my shiny dash blinding me. I'm swerving everywhere. Meanwhile, I'm holding on to my steering wheel for dear life because of this armor-all making my seat slippery but now my hands are slippery too. It now looks like a cheap used dated BMW with a salvaged title sitting on a corner lot with a 4 Sale sign. I'm thinking about setting it on fire and collecting an insurance check. NEVER again. Tomorrow, I'll be trying to remove all this shine away. Also- if they use that product, use it evenly- there's streaks and areas where it wasn't used.
