Sent pictures, video of a fully operational machine. "READY TO WORK MACHINE". I made the deal with them to include the curb machine, delivery, 3 curb molds, 4 vibrators, and 6 sensors with all cables. I wired the money over and this is when the nightmare started. Communication became impossible, I couldn't get any type of delivery information. About 5 weeks later the machine showed up immediately it was clear that this was not the machine that was discussed, pictured, or on the videos. A total lie and misrepresentation of equipment. Then my first interaction was with the transport driver who was extremely agitated and mad after his dealings with the pickup. He said he stayed there for five days trying to get loaded and proceeded to tell me how unprofessional the company was and how bad of an experience he had. Then he continued to tell me the machine would not run, and that American Empire loaded it with a forklift. This machine has more oil leaks, and hydraulic leaks than one could ever imagine. I then asked the driver about the molds, sensors, cables, and vibrators and he told me that was all they sent. I immediately tried to contact him and to my surprise my telephone number was blocked. I then continued to send numerous emails, voice mails, text messages to receive no response. We made calls from several different lines and all have since been blocked as well. I have been in this business for 20 years and this is the worst experience I have ever had. These people are the truest example of THIEFS !! I contacted the police and am working that channel as well and having my attorney working on a lawsuit. It seems a lot of people have been burned by these folks. If you have any interest in taking legal action against these people, I highly recommend you do so, we need to get these crooks off the street. Lastly, I wanted to share their fine print that show how big of crooks they are. "As such, Buyer further waives any right to rely upon representations made by Seller in marketing or advertising materials and accepts the equipment "as is where is", with all faults or defects, whether observable or non-observable, and in its present condition and state of repair." So basically I am gonna lie and cheat you and tell you whatever it takes to make the deal and you get what you get when it shows up. Then I will ignore and avoid you. Spring 2025 - My son and I figured out when Lakeside re-installed the lower unit, they did not line up the shaft that runs from the lower unit to the fwd/neutral/rev linkage. Wilson Marine took care of this for $350.00. There's no need to put the boat in the water or even put water paddle on the engine. If they installed it correctly to begin with, the shift ctrl would effortlessly slide from neutral to fwd and rev. Steer clear of this company! Original post taken down from Google and Yelp. Probably cause it was too long. Nutshell version: Lake side Marine is a rip off! In fall of 2024 I asked them to ONLY shrink wrap my boat. They took it upon themselves to replace the gear oil which they said had water in it. BS! When I replaced the gear oil a week earlier, the new oil didn't have water in it. They: changed the gear oil - not needed told me I needed new seals which I agreed to have them install. stabilized the gas - not needed. I always took care of all winterization processes except shrink wrap.

After analyzing multiple issues with the vehicle, they tried to charged us multiple $250 "diagnostic fees" for EACH separate issue. We are gladly taking our vehicle to a more reputable dealership for the warranty work. This place was a scam in the early 2000's under the Shuman Chrysler name, and they are just as bad today. Sad to think of the people they are scamming who don't shop out repairs and warranty coverages.
