Their hours are a lie. They are only open 8-8 during the week. Their hours are MUCH more limited on the weekend, especially Sunday.

I made an appointment on Monday at 3:30 PM to get my Covid nasal swab test done. I was told that the results take about 3 to 5 days. You still need to drive up around the back to get the actual swab done from your car. You don't go inside. I am at the door by 3:20 PM, 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment. There's one tech doing the test and going to the cars that are parked in the lot behind the building. There was a nice woman that spoke to me when I was here last week trying to find a location to get a test done within a day or 48 hours. My doctor still insisted I get this test before a procedure to verify if I have a virus currently or not. This woman remembered me driving by last week. She checked my blood oxygen level, heart rate and took my temperature. After doing some initial checks she asked me park over by the lot with the other cars. I had to provide my insurance card and my photo ID and they took my script from my doctor as well. She verified whether with me that today's test was for a rapid test or a nasal PCR test. I told her I was here for the nasal PCR test only. There seems to be a medical staff member on site. He went out to go talk to one or two guests at their cars, parked in the back. They seem to run a pretty efficient crew here. The woman that spoke to me last Thursday or Wednesday remembered me from then. She had me fill out the required paperwork, wished me luck and told me to take care after she was done with me. It was a quick swab. She has a nice personality for this job. They use a thinner swab for the test. Almost like a pipe cleaner size. She had me tilt my head back, it was a little uncomfortable but not horrible. I was in and out in about 15 minutes or so. They said they would text me the results in 3 to 5 days. I got a call on Friday morning with the results, it took about 4 days total to get the test results. read more

Help! I'm sitting in the exam room here at Royal Urgent Care now for an hour! I'm a teacher and was sent home with pink eye. I need the drops and proof of Dr. visit to return to work tomorrow, otherwise I would leave. I peeked my head out to see if if it was close to my turn yet, and was told there are still two ahead of me‍. I mean maybe if I wait here long enough my infection will heal on its own? Best urgent care in town! I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Dr. Damaske took his time to understand my symptoms and talked with me through the medication plan. I developed a worsening cough the next day, called back, and was able to speak to Dr. Damaske directly. Kind, empathetic, and made a tough week so much easier. I have been here a few times in the past with varying satisfaction. I had an ear issue and went here yesterday. I Saw Dr Damaske this time. He is a really good guy to deal with. He listens to what you are telling him your problems are, and interacts with you in a very understanding way that comes across very genuine. Very pleased with his care. LOVE!!!! Left my dr office in tears. Came here, left laughing, happy and fixed. Dr Marietta has a great bedside manner and just a pleasant person in general. She has that 'mom comfort' thing going for her. She is very knowledgeable and was able to figure my issue out and get me out in about an hour. Wait time to be seen was very low as well. Overall, we would come back should we urgently need care again. There was an honest mistake that occurred during our first visit here, which was resolved and appropriately addressed. Should you visit the clinic and have concerns about your care, call the clinic and ask for Tami, she will listen to your concerns and work hard to appropriately resolve them. Some of the 1-star reviews here seem unjustified. For example, if you are not feeling well, but seek the advice, time and expertise of a highly trained medical professional, the clinic should be compensated for the care even if the cure is simply bedrest (because at they are ruling out a more serious disease). Also, medical paperwork is very complicated and time-consuming (if done properly), so as with any clinic, come with appropriate expectations on wait time. I do believe that this clinic's leadership team is fully dedicated to constantly improving their processes and practicing at the highest level of care. At this time, I can't give 4 or 5 stars because the mistake did cause an inconvenience to my fiancee. However, I am grateful that she was treated and got better. read more

This is the nicest urgent care I've ever been to. Today was my first time visiting this location and I have only positive things to say. I interacted with two different employees and one doctor... all were outstanding. Dr. Jennifer Legge is such a great doctor. I really liked and felt comfortable with her. The service at the clinic was fine, but they have major issues with their billing department. The first time I went here not long after they opened, I was charged a $20 copay. I paid with a check by mail and the check was cashed. A month later, I received an additional bill stating that I had not paid. A few phone calls later, the issue was resolved. The next time I went about a year later, the same exact thing happened again. Check was cashed, Urgent Care somehow had no record of my payment, eventually resolved. On my third visit in early 2020, I paid by mail using my HSA. Again I received a bill about a month after I paid. I checked my HSA account and saw that the money was never taken out. I called and emailed their billing department but never received follow up. Today, almost 8 months later, I received a letter from a collections agency about this bill. When I contacted the billing department at Urgent Care, the automated message specifically stated that they could not address issues that had been passed along to the collections agency. Although I understand that the bill still apparently hasn't been paid, I would like Urgent Care to take responsibility for this mistake. If it had just happened once I would assume that perhaps it got lost in the mail, but this is the third time that there has been such a problem. I recently moved, and had this bill not been forwarded I may have not even known that it was still outstanding. This type of error can lead to changes in customers' credit scores and have serious implications for their lives. I will absolutely not return to this business even though it is right in my neighborhood because I cannot risk this happening again. Royal Urgent Care cannot manage money like professionals and I seriously recommend that you avoid them. read more

This place is a joke. Had rapid test and was negative. Never received an email regarding my pcr test. No phone call and no email. Finally I called after being symptomatic and they acted like I was out of line for being upset about no call no email. What a joke. No wonder the pandemic is out of control. Went for COVID testing. Staff was nice, but no one followed up with me about my test results. I called 5 days after testing and they said my results were in 2 days earlier but didn't know why someone didn't contact me. Same thing happened to my wife. She got a call from the health department 5 days after testing and 3 days after that someone followed up with her. If you want quick results go to CVS. read more

The lady sitting at the front desk was the rudest person I have ever experienced. I guess I made the mistake of telling them I wasn't feeling good and I was from out of town visiting. She was so rude to me, obviously because she knew I wasn't a local perhaps? I asked to talk to the manager and she said I am the manager which explained why she felt she could be as rude as possible to me. When I told her I thought the customer service here was terrible she snapped the back and made even worse comments back to me. If they're going to treat me like this who knows how they're going to treat anybody else. I would not recommend this place to anybody and feel bad that that person has to be so miserable all the time. read more

Slow as molasses. I waited in an empty lobby for over 30 min with little acknowledgement. Ended up leaving and going somewhere else.

AVOID IF POSSIBLE. None of the people working here cared about why I was in there. All they wanted was to push me out of the door with a Rapid Covid test, which 6 days later I haven't received any information back on. Not one thing I said was wrong with me was listened to - and directed me to a family doctor. I even explained I just moved to the area less than a month ago and I didn't have one yet, but I knew what was wrong with me. Nope. Not even considered that I could be telling the truth about my symptoms as they all stood at the opposite side of the room in examination, which took all of 5 minutes. The kicker here was that none of them even looked at my chart I walked back out after they Covid tested me and I handed the receptionist my chart. I went to Royal Urgent Care today for a Rapid Result COVID test. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The wait was very long, approx 3 hours, but they tell you that before you wait. They're the only place I could find where you didn't need an appointment and they had immediate test results. The doctor was nice, the nurses were nice, I have zero complaints. All the testing is done outside, the process was very well organized and efficient. They were extremely busy, but still managed to be kind. I was very nervous for the nasal swab, and it helped having a nurse that was patient with me and talked me through it! read more

My baby and I went in both sick with the flu and they charged us over 200$ and then sent flu test over to beaumont for ANOTHER 200$ each There are a dozen great urgent care places in 4 mile radius that wont charge you like this. They also separately billed my 1 year old instead of saying "to the parents of". I'm disgusted with this place. I visited Royal Urgentcare for the first time today after I had been experiencing some flu like symptoms. The staff was friendly from the time I walked in. The wait time was kind of long, but it was a Saturday afternoon smack dab in the middle of cold and flu season so I expected it. My RN-NP was Olivia Murphy. She was fantastic and very thorough. I love that they have x-rays available on site to save me a trip to the hospital. If I ever need to return to urgent care in the future for whatever reason, this will be my go to! read more

Both times we have had the best possible care for our daughter as well as very friendly experience with the doctors and nurses. I've had two extremely positive experiences with this location - one taking my step-daughter in for an injury and a second taking my daughter in for an illness. Both times, staff were attentive and service was rapid - much more so than experiences I've had in the past with other urgent care facilities. When they first opened I gave them a break as I waited and waited with no one to serve me and when the front desk clerk approached there was a lot of attitude so I left. Today I tried them out again as they are right around the corner from my house. We walked in, and 2 staff were working on a toilet. They saw us, didnt acknowledge us and yet again, we waited and waited. We finally left without being greeted, one finally walks out of the bathroom after we were in our car and backing out.... she threw her hands up in anger at us as if we inconvenienced them. One of the best Urgent Care facilities I've been to in the area. Staff were kind and caring, the facility was clean. This was the first time I've gone to a doctor by myself (I just turned 18) and the staff were more than happy to walk me through the paperwork and the doctor was wonderful and explained everything in great detail. Went in today for the first time. I've been pretty sick for a few days and they told me all I need to do is rest. That was the biggest waste of $90. Also the front desk people were slow and had me wait when I was the only patient there. The doctor was unprofessional and didn't really seem to know what he was talking about. read more
