I had to have my generators for my Hvac units re-set on my roof due to having my entire roof replaced. The original installers did a CRAP job but I got to correct that with Royalty and their crew. On time, polite, clean working and EXCELLENT work! The reset my units, had good solutions to a few issues and did the job as it should have been done! Jay is absolutely amazing. Not only is he super knowledgeable, but he's a problem solver and also super thoughtful. Long story short, the motor in my HVAC for my heat was going. It would make a loud whirring noise and it would work here and there. The urgency to fix it was because my wife was having our baby within a few days (not ideal timing for the heat to go while it's been averaging in the 30s). Jay was super busy but completely understood and came over around 10-11PM to help diagnose the problem. The good news is that it was the motor. The bad news is that the it was hard to access the parts in my HVAC. Unfortunately, the way the HVAC was installed made it extremely hard to actually service the unit itself. But Jay looked for solutions to figure out what he could do to make a bigger access point so that the motor could be taken out and that the new motor could be installed. Luckily, he did find a way to make it work. He's a super down to earth guy which I really appreciated because it definitely felt like he had my best interest at heart and was trying to help me fix my problem, especially with the new baby. I found my HVAC guy for the future and would definitely recommend BM without a doubt! read more

Jay is wonderful. He came for my preseason heating checkup. Did more than the STANK...I do mean STANK company {the reviews on THAT company are awful here on YELP and so true} which installed and supposedly 'serviced' my system previously. Jay did more than they ever did for a service check. He explained what he was doing, inspected, cleaned as needed every aspect of the system, chimney, valves, gauges, etc. Jay explained why I was always having system shutdown every past winter and alleviated those problems; even advised me to call if and when the problem occurred again. Jay, thank goodness noticed lack of and advised me to get a carbon monoxide detector or two which I immediately did. On time, observant and no up charging in the least. I highly recommend ROYALTY. I'll be calling the company again when it is time for warm weather shutdown and AC installation. read more

The owner is an expert and very knowledgeable. They helped us a few times over the last decade with heating issues... we had no heat to be exact. Each time they showed up, identified the problem, and solved it methodically. Most recently, during the first cold snap of the fall, this company rescued us again. I called Royalty Heating and Air bc I wasn't getting any hot water in my condo, and suspected there was an issue with the boiler. I called on a Sunday morning around 8am and Jay, the owner, answered my call right away and arrived very quickly and within the hour, even though he had another job before mine, which I was really appreciative of. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, identified the issue within minutes of inspecting my boiler, and since the issue was actually caused by another unit owner- he was very tactful in how he approached that owner, and as a result was able to gain access to that unit to inspect their unit. He resolved my issue within an hour and the cost was very affordable, which is pretty unusual in my experience with past contractors/ plumbers who have repaired my boiler. I called Jay after work hours at about 9pm and he agreed to come the next morning before I had to go to work at 730am and he was done w the job by 8:50am. I knew what most likely needed to be done thanks to some research and phone calls with my dad (and no thanks to my last hvac guys) and told Jay. He came, quickly touched the drain on my ceiling with his hand, realized it had gunk in it and took his pump or gun to clean it out at the other end inside the unit. Then he tested it by running a little water through it and making sure it went down the drain. He also quickly checked my coils for me. All this literally only took an hour. My last hvac guy made it seem like this was going to be some big and expensive job. This was an easy solution and Jay was clear and honest with his work and let me know everything he was doing each step of the way. I really can't stand it when other hvac guys over complicate or over dramatize things. Jay made this easy and fast but also thorough. He also took the time to chat with me on the phone to test my wet switch before I booked him - which he didn't have to do. read more
