I used Royalty Limos for my wedding 2 years ago because my sister had used them as well, and they (at the time) provided excellent service. That was in '06 and I can say that the quality and customer service seems to have gone downhill since then. Maybe it is because of the recent recession, but I was appalled when after celebrating one of the most important nights of my life, the driver, before dropping us off at the Garden City Hotel for our wedding night, turned to my husband and demanded a tip! Never in all my years of working with vendors (and also after speaking to others in the services industry) have I heard of this! I almost thought he was going to ask me to take money out of one of my wedding envelopes so he could get his tip, which had already been given to him when my dad tipped the drivers earlier. Even if a tip had not been previously given, you don't ask a customer outright for a gratuity! Needless to say, I was upset and in tears on my wedding night because of this driver's appalling behavior. I called Royalty about a month later, after returning from our honeymoon, and after speaking with the office manager, I was told that she would "speak to" the driver, whose name I found out was Anthony. Of course, I never heard from them after this, and I doubt he was ever reprimanded. If you do decide to hire this company, just make sure they don't give you this driver, or make sure he gets his tip right away at the beginning of the day! read more

We decided to get an antique limo just a few weeks before the wedding for my husband and I. After passing Royalty limo a zillion times, we went in and were able to choose the exact limo we wanted which was parked in the garage. It was a smooth, quick process. The owner was friendly and we were excited about our decision. We choose a simple package 3 hours which came to $475. The day of the wedding the driver showed up early, told us to take our time, and made us all feel relaxed. He was super cool, friendly and funny. We had a great time with him and the limo was a hit! As a matter of fact, 1 week later my husband saw the limo driver on the road near our house and he remembered him and honked his horn. Royalty Limo was recommended by my venue. I decided to go along with them because they were a preferred vendor. I must preface this review with the fact that I had not a single issue with the company, everyone was nice, but I like to give as much information as possible in my reviews so I have to further explain the reasons behind the three star rating. I just wanted everyone reading to know I did not have an issue with the company. Their fleet is old. The limos are pretty beat up and if you're looking for something clean and prestine, this limo company is not for you. You will be disappointed. Their classic cars are beat as well. The white wall on some of the tires is tattered, dings, scratches all over the place. Again, if you're looking for perfection this limo company is not for you. Their office is a disaster. It's not a pleasant experience going there. It's all open, there seems to be a million things going on in there, you're almost afraid to give them credit card information. It's messy, it smells like cigarette smoke. The office experience was not a good time for me. Their office hours are terrible. 9 out of 10 times that I called, they were closed. When you leave a message, no one calls you back. You HAVE to reach them when they are there. Very annoying. They don't remember your information. They lost my original contract. Had to do it again. That wasn't very reassuring. The day before my wedding, the classic car I wanted broke down. They did call me to tell me and they offered me another car at no cost. I appreciated it, but at the end of the day it wasn't what I wanted. That stunk but what can you do. Their prices are very low. If you're on a budget, this is the company for you. But, you sacrifice quality of the limos for the lower prices. I did use them for my bacherlorette party however and their limo was PERFECT for this night. We weren't looking for fancy or prestine, we just needed a ride for 10 people to the city. It was great. Overall, I think this company is ok for a limo. I wouldn't "highly recommend" them to anyone but I'd probably pass their business card around for someone who was looking for a cheap limo for the night. read more

This was absolutely the worst most unprofessional company!!! You have been warned!! STAY AWAY!!! We used this company for our wedding, not only did they jerk us around with the price, come the day of the wedding what a nightmare! The horn that touts "here comes the bride" sounded like it was ill - it kept stopping and dying mid song, it was beyond embarrassing. I had to finally ask the driver to stop hitting the horn. And to top it off the driver, who was very nice, could not stop bad mouthing how terrible the company and the owners were. We called around to a couple of different places to get a price for a car service to take us from the Lehigh Valley to Queens, NY for a wedding. Royalty Limousine service had the best rates; so we figured we would give them a try. We called and spoke with Abe and set it up without any hitches. The day of the event, our driver, Carlos, showed up slightly earlier then our appointed time which was wonderful so no one had to look out for car or worry where it may be..he was right there! Carlos was very nice and the car was clean and comfortable. Despite being stuck in some traffic the ride was smooth and it was well worth the money to not have to deal with that hassle. Carlos did not rush us when it was time to leave and was as pleasant and accommodating on the way home as he was on the ride to the venue. My husband and I are already planning a night out closer to home where we would utilize Royalty Limousine again. read more

I used Royalty for my wedding and they were pretty good. They gave me a deal for my bachelorette party as well for the repeat business. Their limo's are a little bit on the older side (the one they sent for my bachelorette did not have working air conditioning....which is a bummer). We chose a classic car for bride/groom transportation and I'm not sure if this would have happened with any classic car but I was getting nauseous from the exhaust fumes on our 40 minute drive to the reception. We have used Royalty Limos for many years. We used them for my stepdaughters wedding, nights in the city, and once or twice a year for girls day with all the girls in my family for a play and dinner. We have never been anything but happy with their service. On one occasion I waited to late to book and couldn't get a car from Royalty so we had to use another company, it was awful, we all wound up getting car sick and it completely ruined our whole day!! At Royalty limousines,they are friendly, extremely helpful and true professionals. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a company that once you hire them you can put it out of your head and know that everything with them will work out perfectly.
