Sal and his team did an absolutely perfect job on our custom quartz countertops and full backsplash. From the time we picked out slabs at Arizona Tile to the completion of the project was less than a week. He was able to redo the roughtop on our new cabinets to remove level the countertop and window sill (removing the step). They even matched the patterns on the countertop with the patterns on the backsplash. On top of that they picked the best part of the pattern for the waterfall edge on the countertop. We had used them for granite counters, plus the free sink, replacing the fluorescent ceiling light with crown moulding and can light, painting the cabinets and a $500 upgrade for soft-close hinges. The work was completed in March. The electrician did a great job, the granite work was amazing. It took quite a few minutes to find the seam, the work was pretty flawless. The low rating comes from the inconsistent customer service (his workers were very nice, but sometimes Karen was amazing, sometimes bordering on rude, Sales recent follow-through has left much to be desired), the spots where the paint rubbed off in the first few weeks (they did leave extra paint for when that happens), and the TWO hinges that have already broken. The first hinge they fixed and, when they were fixing the first one, they left a spare in case it happened again. Which it did a few weeks ago! My husband called to try to resolve the matter; I'm not sure how a $500 upgrade requires him to do the work when a second hinge breaks in less than 3 months. He replaced it because Sal has not returned his calls. Hoping this gets resolved. As of right now, I recommend using them ONLY for granite work. read more

My wife called Royalty Stone to report & how to go about in having one of their contractors to come over to my home and survey the damage. Three weeks passed by and not a soul from Royalty Stone called my wife back to inform her if someone indeed was going to come out to our home. Once again, my wife called again to the establishment and spoke to the owner, Sal. He stated that the gentlemen that originally installed our counter tops would be contacted & she would receive a call back to set up a date & time to perform the assessment. After all the payments and numerous contacts, we still haven't received what they promised. We used Royalty Stone last June to install granite countertop in our rental. Although their price was higher than other contractors, we decided to use them anyway as they claimed that they would use Arizona Stone and we would receive a certificate to quality us for a yearly free resealing from them for 10 years. We paid them all cash to get a small discount. However, once the job was done and all the payments were made and after many attempts to ask them for the Arizona Stone certificate, they still haven't given us any certificate. We used Royalty Stone to do our counter tops back in 2017. Back then we would have given them 3, maybe even 4 stars. Their responsiveness and reliability when it comes to phone calls, especially from the owner, Sal, leaves one to wonder how they can stay in business. A year or so later we had a chip in our quartz and it took well over a month to get them to send someone to come out "as a sign of good faith" since they insisted it wasn't under warranty. To be clear it was in a spot that had clearly been filled and wasn't of any fault of ours. Now, once again we have a chip that most likely was a result of something someone in our household did, so we once again reached out to Sal wanting them to fix it at OUR expense. We would rather use the company that installed it and we trusted than start over with someone else. This was in December. December. After multiple phone calls and text messages, one missed appointment due to covid (which was the only valid excuse) we are now in May and the chip is still there. Our last communication with Sal was him giving us Danny's number (the person who actually does the repair) so we could coordinate directly with him, and once again it goes unanswered. Two attempts and total silence. Apparently this is the company approach to customer service. We aren't asking for anything to be done "for free", we are simply wanting the company who installed the work to repair it at OUR cost so we know it's done right. Clearly they're not interested in taking care of customers once they've already done the original job. IMO, there must be better companies out there who actually return phone calls and help their customers. This isn't one of them. Do yourself a favor and find one. read more

I had Royalty resurface my kitchen cabinets, install granite countertops, a tile backsplash, and replace the hideous linoleum floor in my kitchen with porcelin tile. The end result was absolutley beautiful. I was really pleased. What I really liked, was if I had an issue with something or wasn't quite happy with it, they took the time to listen and then address the issue until I was satisfied. My 92 year old neighbor had a simple kitchen floor tile and granite counter top replacement. The workmanship is beautiful BUT the timeline for completion is HORRIBLE! They removed her tile on a Thursday, left her without the use of appliances all weekend, then installed the tile and granite the following Wednesday and Thursday. It is now the following Wednesday after the "two day cure" which ended last Saturday and they have not come back to replace her appliances! She was told yesterday that they have OTHER CUSTOMERS? This is abusive considering she paid them ON TIME. She is THE OTHER CUSTOMER! Shame on you Royalty Stone. You are treating her like she is NOT royalty. I was quite disappointed with the estimate process with your company. I received an estimate well over many other estimates I had, the person who came out forgot to measure above the dishwasher. This was later corrected, which normally would not be an issue, everyone makes mistakes. However they continued with insulting the cabinets from IKEA, stating they had to call to make sure they could support granite. I informed the person that IKEA sold granite for their cabinets and they stated they didn't know because they had never gone there. So after that lovely interaction I asked the other companies who gave estimates if they would have issues with the cabinets, all of which stated that they had installed granite countertops on IKEA cabinets many times with no issues. What type of company would send a person who knew nothing about the business put to sell is beyond me. My 4k$ business went to a company with more experience. read more

The female at the counter was so distracted with the papers on the counter to listen to what I had to say. This drastically changed the price of the remodel, at the end. Work looks great and like a showroom but stays like that you can't use. Too many issues, I get 10 years older after the project was done.

Had them install counter tops in my kitchen, and that went well. I also needed tiles for my back splash so I was presented with a sample. And this is where this business failed. To make the story short, it's been over 5 months now and after calling and texting trying to get things going, I have gotten as many answers as there were people, if they replied. Guy named Sal even tried to blame my wife for miscommunication when after few months I stopped by to inquire about their apparent lack of communication. Sal has an iPhone and he's been ignoring my wife's texts after we all know that he looks at them and reads them (iPhone feature). What a waste of time! Never will I ever go there for anything and I would not recommend this business to anyone I know. There are plenty of businesses offering similar services to chose from. Sal, with all dues respect Sir, you're an immature liar. Your juvenile behavior saddens me and I feel sorry for people that you'll inevitably treat with the same lack of respect, but in the end that is no longer my problem.
