Honestly, that company discouraged me on going forward in the repair of our 40 year old in-ground jacuzzi because I believe they were too busy to take on another customer. My opinion only of course. Ken came out, checked out everything and we're in the process of getting work done. I feel much better now that I know it is a possibility. I will update this post on the outcome.

I was told someone would call later that day to confirm what time the technician would arrive. I didn't get a call and almost noon the next day I called if someone was still coming. The person who answered wasn't sure but said he'd look into it. A few hours later, the technician arrived and diagnosed the problem. Then he said he would come back the following day with the parts needed. The one star I deducted is only because of the lack of clarity of the appointment. But the work itself was 5 stars and the charges were in line with the estimates. The technician (I think his name is Mike?) was efficient and did a great job. He was nice - we even exchanged bucket list travel destinations. (One of his was glass igloos in Iceland - now I'd like to experience those, too!) I wouldn't hesitate hiring them again. If I had read the more recent reviews, I may not have gone with them, but I'm glad I did. Service was performed 6/8 and 6/9

This service manages the pools of my condo association/community and I have numerous emails each month sent for the past year + of the same issues over. And over. And over again. Honestly, I don't know why this company even gets paid to do their job, because it isn't being done. Whether the water is low, hot tub is not hot, pools self draining, not clean (the pools were shut down by the health department under this sham of a company), or timers that don't work and waste community money because the hot tub runs 24/7. Prior to this joke of a company coming in, all pool equipment was replaced yet there always seems to be a problem. This company should be surcharged, sued, and put out of business for their professional (lack of it) negligence in attempting to clean/maintain a pool. Absolutely avoid avoid avoid. Ps. They cannot seem to read either, the work orders asking for maintenance and repairs are so simple a monkey could understand it. Disgusting that this company takes money from people, companies and hoas for their ineptness.

Well, after years of searching, meetings and disappointment, we finally found the right guy to handle the job. Mark Caballero was referred by friends who had a beautiful remodel done a few years earlier. After seeing the quality of the work Mark did for our friends, I knew we had to contact him for a design and estimate. The great quality and detail of the work I saw made me think he was likely well out of our budget. I texted Mark and he responded Immediately. My wife and I met with him a few days later to give him an idea of what we wanted in our new backyard. Within a very short period, Mark returned with beautiful renderings that we could not believe were the same backyard. Mark incorporated all our ideas and our requests into his design and even suggested some ideas that we didn't even consider but would prove to be excellent ideas. Mark's experience in the pool business showed through in his concept ideas. Then came the estimates. The renderings for the new pool looked like it belonged at a high dollar spa, and I expected that the price tag would be way out of our league. Mark Caballero Pools came through with a reasonable price that fell within our budget. We happily signed on with the company. Work started within five or six weeks, and Mark kept us up to date on each step of the remodel. He managed a large portion of the job, while we were away from home and never cut any corners. Mark has a great attention to detail, that should be a requirement for this type of project. He located and corrected even minor deviations from that plan that I would never have even seen. He and his crew took the time and effort to fix and improve things that were incomplete or incorrect from when the pool was first installed in 1999. We came to trust that Mark and his employees would handle every job correctly and never short cut any task. They upgraded the original pool company's work to ensure our new pool worked fantastic. Mark's employees were also incredible. Trustworthy, hardworking and experienced. They went out of their way to provide the best quality of work without complaint. Everyone that worked on our job were great, but I would like to add a special thanks to Sam, Valentin and Kiki. You guys are the best! Mark managed our project from start to finish. We were not handed off to anyone else, and we saw Mark almost every day while the job was happening. While we were considering stone, tile, and plastering options, Mark personally took me to other gorgeous pools he had completed in the area. After three months of work, our new beautiful pool was completed. The transformation was incredible and neither of us can believe it is the same backyard. Never thought a remodel of this scale was possible or even affordable. Thank you, Mark Caballero, for your professionalism, vision and the quality of work. We will think of you all whenever we are enjoying the pool or having a drink next to the firepit (and that will be often). Before Phil, we had another "well rated" company that had high turnover and sent someone to come every week instead of the owner himself. This means that the weekly person didn't really care to bring up issues and was not thorough. The owner subcontracted someone to refinish our slide which started peeling a year later and then pawned off responsibility to the subcontractor who ghosted us. At this time, our pool was starting to also look green with black specs. Needless to say, we were paying for subquality work by an owner that didn't care because we never even actually met him. Then comes Phil to the rescue. Not only did he save our pool just in time for our 4th of July pool party, he's been extremely thorough and gave us individualized care. With Phil, you can be sure to never have to worry about your pool issues again. We're so glad we found him and make sure to always recommend him whenever people have pool issues.
