They are my regular oil change stop for all of my 5 cars. Always quick thorough and reasonably priced.

I cannot recommend S&S Mobile Mechanics highly enough…read more On Monday morning, I left Virginia and began driving to Texas to relocate for a new job. I was traveling in my wife's minivan with our Labrador, Mia. During the trip, I began having battery and alternator problems. After replacing both the battery and alternator in North Carolina, the battery warning light came back on late Monday night. I drove to the nearest AutoZone and stayed there until they opened the next morning. The wonderful employees at AutoZone recommended S&S Mobile Mechanics, and I am incredibly grateful that they did. When I arrived, Chris, Shawn, and Shawn's wife warmly welcomed both Mia and me into their home. They made sure Mia had a comfortable place to rest while they immediately began inspecting the minivan. Chris identified the alternator problem within minutes and replaced it right there. They charged me only $150 for the service, which was extremely reasonable, especially considering how quickly they helped me and the situation I was facing. They were respectful, professional, compassionate, and genuinely good-hearted people. They understood that I was trying to make it safely to Texas and went above and beyond to help ensure that I could continue my trip without further problems. I am happy to say that Mia and I made it safely to Texas, and the minivan is running wonderfully. People like Chris, Shawn, and Shawn's wife give me hope for humanity. We need more people--and more companies--like S&S Mobile Mechanics in this world. As a retired Air Force Major who is accustomed to handling difficult situations, I can honestly say that their kindness and support brought tears of joy to my eyes. Thank you again for everything you did for Mia and me. I will never forget your kindness. Five stars are simply not enough.

S&S answered the phone promptly, scheduled the service the same day and was kept in the loop every step of the way. Great communication from the on-site technician. I am beyond pleased with the outcome. Thank you very much.

Not only did they not answer our questions about the car they didn't even quote prices on tires after being asked. The guy in the service department didn't want to be bothered by anything or anyone. I would strongly recommend NOT taking a car there for service. Avoid the dealership as a whole if you are looking for a one stop facility. Go to Lake Hartwell Chevrolet in Toccoa, Ga or Hayes in Baldwin,Ga.

We drove it off the lot and noticed a whistling noise, that wasn't noticeable during the test drive due to normal conversation we believe. Didn't think much at first but the whistle got louder. We had it looked at by 2 mechanics both of which have said it's in the transmission. One of the mechanics told us that had the car been checked, it would have been noticed by a mechanic and that typically the average driver wouldn't even notice the whistle. Although we did not purchase a warranty, I called the dealership, because in good faith, I feel they should take care of it because "it was checked out by their mechanics before purchase." Tony, the sales manager, said to bring it in and let us look at it. After 2 days, Tony called and said "the car checked out ok and everything was normal." I asked about the noise, again he said "it's a normal transmission noise... he, the mechanic, the service manager, and the GM all drove it and it is normal." Clearly, the noise isn't "normal." So, there is a MAJOR problem with our new, used car that is going to cost us from $3000-$5000, that their staff considers normal. Beware of the sales team and the service department! Even if the service department has checked the car out and says everything is "normal." BUYER BEWARE!! Update: After picking up the car yesterday, we took the car to a 3rd mechanic who also said the problem is in the transmission and there are no "normal" transmission noises! I never really expected Tri-County Chevrolet of Royston to offer a solution but I also never expected the rude, disrespectful treatment we received. The GM was condescending, unsympathetic and down-right nasty!
