I first contacted them when Novi had a mandatory plumbing related regulation in effect and they seemed the most knowledgeable, available and at the best cost. The next time I called them, it took three visits and several workers to compete the tasks. While they did locate a replacement part that I needed, it all turned out to be much more expensive than I expected. Next, they came out for free to inquire about a question I had and caught a different issue in the process, which they took care of that day. So it seems a mixed bag with unknown outcomes, but they can usually come over quickly and get the job done.

They are not friendly and frankly I felt they just wanted me out of the store. One example, I was given advice on a faucet from them and when it was determined it was not going to available for 3-4 months, I asked for something similar. The front desk person just sifted through a delta catalog to see what faucet was available, not one that fits our design preferences, etc. (Note: I was able to find the faucet at Lowes and delivered within 3 weeks). I get that they might not keep stock on hand but I should not be shuffled through each faucet in a catalog to give me what delta has in stock at that time. It was rude and I felt demeaned because this is now how I wanted to get my room designed. A second example was for the 2nd bathroom for a quote for shower doors (European style). In the initial quote, we got a quote for regular shower doors. When I figured out that this was for regular doors, I asked for a requote. So, I set up an appointment for them to come out a 2nd time. However, a few hours later, another person from the store left a message on my phone with a quote that was over double. Needless to say, they didn't even do the order correctly the first time, they were inconveniencing me with their person to come out again but then also giving me a quote without even getting the order right in the first place. It seemed to me their back office and front office don't even talk. It had nothing to do with the money but I lost complete trust that they even care to do a good, quality job. Mark came and check things out and found out the problem. He boosted the pressure on our well's pressure tank, a DIY job I had recently done, and changed a whole-house filter that had been neglected for too long. Please trust me when I say to stay with the smaller shops who do a good job at a reasonable price, like McIntyre's Soft Water Service or Wolverine Water Treatment. They've both been around for 40 years with the original owners still working there. They will take their time, not be in a hurry, and explain everything to you. Beauchamps installation people are untrustworthy, sloppy, do a poor job, and leave the house a mess. The sale person said they have 'master plumbers'. The installation person laughed when I mentioned that to him. He said he wish he was a master plumber. Beauchamps has to hire pretty much anywho they can get to get the job done as quickly as they can and hope customer standards are low. They will always be rushed, in a hurry, and learning as they go. They have NO pride in their work. For that, your installation will be sloppy and compromised ! Sales talk a good a talk but you don't see the full picture until installation shows up. Then it's too late. Goto any location and see if you like what you see. The people you will have to deal with when something goes wrong. Think about it and don't be in a hurry to buy. It's a big investment. Don't go for the modern store look as it's all show. Go for those that are honest and will be there for you when something goes wrong.
