He then tried to sell us a replacement battery for $250 just for us . This was concerning because our battery had been replaced at Costco only 6 months ago and was still under warranty. Multiple red flags came up during the interaction, especially when he attempted to take our Costco battery instead of advising us about the warranty replacement option. When we insisted on getting our original battery back, his story suddenly changed. He then claimed he could "double jump start" the vehicle and suggested we drive it to Costco ourselves. This was after he had already installed his own battery into our car in an attempt to sell it to us. In the end, he was able to successfully jump start the car, and we did not purchase the battery he was trying to sell us. The entire experience felt misleading, unprofessional, and dishonest.
