Rreal Tacos was an exercise in patience, which is great because apparently that's what we were there for. The restaurant wasn't busy, but service moved with the urgency of a government committee reviewing paperwork. We ordered tableside guacamole early in the meal. It never arrived. To be fair, nobody ever claimed it would arrive. It was eventually removed from the bill after we reminded our server that we had ordered it sometime during the previous fiscal year. The food was... fine. My son's chicken tenders were crispy, although he described the flavor as "part chicken, part fish." Not a sentence you love hearing when chicken is the goal. The real star of the show was the kids' fries. They arrived cold, rubbery, and with the texture of something that had already lived a full and meaningful life. We sent them back and asked for fresh fries. The server returned with what appeared to be the exact same fries. I can't prove it was the same batch, but if those weren't the original fries, then they had an identical twin with the same hopes, dreams, and body temperature. After politely escalating the matter beyond what should ever be required for a french fry, fresh fries finally appeared. Remarkably, hot fries are better than cold rubber fries. Revolutionary stuff. Overall, the meal wasn't terrible, but it felt like every part of the experience required a follow up email. If the guacamole ever arrives, please let me know. Greeted and seated immediately! Then immediately forgotten. Greeter was friendly. Staff "seemed" nice. No one served us. We were not acknowledge after we were seated. No water offered either. We sat at the tables with our menus and no water for ten minutes.... I might say they were understaffed... but... it did not appear to be the case. I'm really not sure why we were ignored. In summary, we will come back! Maybe it's because we enjoyed the holiday vibes so much, maybe it's because the food and drinks were genuinely good, but we had a great experience and I was pleasantly surprised after having read some negative reviews. They were busy and we did have to ask for our server a few times so I dinged a star for service, but otherwise everything was great. To start the holiday Christmas vibes are amazing. 10/10. The decor everywhere is just fabulous. On to the drinks! I got the merry margarita and the Rudolph both were excellent but I think the margarita should be called Rudolph (because it's red) an the Rudolph should've been like frosty or something since it's white. Either way they were both delightful. On to food- we got the birria pizza and it was delicious and flavorful. We ran through all the consome it comes with and also were a big fan of the green salsa they have. The orange one was good with it too. Ordered takeout for work. This was my first experience with this restaurant. I got the nachos with asada. Steak was a little dry but overall, it was nicely presented and delicious. I really liked that they package the queso separately so that the chips aren't soggy by the time you get a chance to eat it. Portion size was plenty!! I had enough for lunch as well as dinner, which was great as I was a little hesitant to pay that much for nachos. This is one of those instances where the price matched the value. I got it standard, no add-on and found that it was perfect as is. I liked that they also gave you a choice of three different sauces. A red, an orange, and a green. I'm not sure what either three were, but I do know, the red will light you up!! All three were flavorful but I stuck with green, which seemed the safer option of the trio, though it did contain a little too much oil of some kind. It was still good. This was my first visit to this restaurant, and it definitely won't be my last. I grabbed a seat at the bar and was fortunate to be served by David, who made the entire experience enjoyable. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer my questions about both the tacos and their tequila selection. I ordered the grilled fish tacos, and they were absolutely amazing--fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was fun and lively, especially with everyone watching the World Cup, which made for a great dining experience. Heads up: I was served raw chicken at Rreal Tacos today. I noticed before swallowing and sent it back, but the managers handled it awful. Tried to pass it off as something else until I shinned my light on it. They ultimately agreed it was raw chicken (literally never saw a flame). Let me start off with the location which is perfect because it is in a shopping complex. Plenty of restaurants to pick from and a fun place to walk around. We had a little wait of 25 mins for 2 on a Friday night so it stays pretty busy. Our server was so nice and attentive. Gave us the whole experience and we loved the service. Rreal is a chain which has pretty standard food. Their salsa and chips are pretty fresh and good. My first time trying their burrito, cilantro rice, fries, and quesadilla. We got them with crispy avocado which I personally would not get again for someone who is not obsessed with avocados. The sauces are what really bring everything together. They are freshly made and the bottles are labeled with the date they were made. The fries were delicious and crispy. The margaritas were intoxicating, they do not cheap out on the liquor. Located in Cumming off 400 @ exit 13 in The Collection (previously known as The Avenue) RReal Taco occupies the spot that use to be Cheeky's. The service has been really good. The manager Quinten makes his rounds checking on every table. Our service from Cassidy was so good...she is such a pretty girl. Patio dining is available. Your view is the parking lot. Inside you'll find a large bar and plenty of booths and tables. They revamped the long bar from Cheeky and replaced it with more of a U shape bar. Behind the bar are big bins of cute toys they use as garnish with the cocktails. Creative cocktails and flights of margaritas. The menu is pretty simple. We have tried a few things. We have enjoyed the Salad, Burrito Bowl, Plantains, Birria Quesadilla and Birria Taco. I wasn't crazy about the $3 up charge for the consumé so I've only tried it once in midtown - it was okay - not worth the $3. Originally chips and salsa were not complimentary. Now they offer complimentary chips and salsa. Refills are available for a charge. The table side hot salsas are delicious! Least favorite item Fish Taco - the fish taco lacks seasoning and flavor. The cilantro slaw just doesn't do enough or maybe it's that the fish wasn't seasoned properly. No lime creme sauce to finish off the fish taco as you'd expect. read more

This location was decorated everywhere and definitely sets the mood for the holidays. The staff all had on cute holiday sweaters too and there was a holiday menu section with specialty drinks and menu items. We started with the guacamole and it was excellent. They bring out a complimentary chips and salsa for the table which is good too. I ordered the quesadilla birria that comes with their consumme to dip it in. They are known for their birria tacos so I had to try it. It was delicious and tender and the flavor was perfect. Definitely recommend trying it. My husband got the burrito bowl with chicken and avocado and it was really good too. We will try more things on the menu next time.
