I met with Grossman to swap out a toilet & the water controls in a shower (non-emergency service call). Matt came to my house to provide an estimate. We scheduled a time for him to return a few days later (11/2020). They came and they did a good job. There were no economic surprises. They cleaned up their mess and everything works fine. I've attached a picture of his neat workmanship of the shower cartridge (hidden behind the wall). IMO, he did a good job & I will be using Grossman again.

Because it was late in the night and the nature of the work, they had promised us they would come first thing in the morning. Fast forward to the following morning day: they came exactly at the time they'd promised and got the job done at the time they'd estimated. They also walked me through what work needed to be done (i.e. upgrading the existing exhaust to the chimney as ours is not up to code, replacing x valve, etc...), which was nice and assuring. He put them in and left a dishwasher with a huge hole that required some additional pieces that was missing for some reason. He charged me $529. When I got home I ran the dishwasher and the kitchen flooded to the point of water coming through the ceiling light in the basement. When I called him back he said it was a dishwasher problem not a plumbing problem. At no point did he say there were parts missing and that there was a hole in the dishwasher. When I called GE to fix it they show me the big hole. What kind of plumber would not tell you that there is a hole in the dishwasher. I was so upset that I had to buy a new dishwasher. Not sure if he threw the parts away or the people who put in the cabinets. My big problem is he did not tell me about the hole and caused me to sustain damage to my house. I really should give him no star at all.

This review is 1.5 months late because I wanted to be sure that the repairs made by Felip at GME Plumbing held up after he completed the plumbing work. I took pictures and sent them to Felip and he provided a reasonable estimate which included parts and labor, so we hired him. Felip and his helper did excellent work, left the place clean, and took away the rubbish. We paid the price in his estimate; there were no surprise extra charges. He 1) Repaired a leaking shower, replaced seat of valve with a special tool. Two previous plumbers only changed the washers and the leaks never stopped. 2) Replaced washing machine valves located behind shower wall. 3) Removed an old leaky toilet and replaced it with a new toilet. It's been over a month since the repairs were completed and there have been no leaks. The water bill is 40% less because of the repairs Felip made. We are very happy with Felip's work and will definitely use him again should we have further plumbing issues.
