They were in contact with me in a timely manor the whole way through the process. I had a couple items where I needed measurements off my rig and they were happy to get them back to me. When we realized that the parts would not arrive in time to do the repairs before I headed to my next destination, they were willing to work with me on setting up next service place so I was able to pre-order parts.

Welp, all I can say is by the time I picked up my car and didn't even make it around the corner, the engine light was back on in ADDITION to my airbag light and no AC! I argued with them and the pizza face girl at the front desk started getting nasty saying something like IF WE TOUCHED IT we will fix it. I'm like you DID touch it. I gave them another change to fix it. I left my car for another 2 days while they worked on it trying to get it together. When I called to see if it was ready (they didn't call me) I was basically told it was a big job to tear everything down and try to pin point the problem. Needless to say I took my car and got the hell outta there. There was no way I was giving them anymore money after paying a whooping $1700. They tried to charge me an additional $500 for a tune up! This is a 2018 model, and virtually nothing has been touched under there since the car was purchased. But the heat shield that goes between the muffler and car body had not been reinstalled. It was supposed to be trimmed and reinstalled along with the hitch. I am positive the heat shield was there before the car was brought in, because I was contemplating doing the job myself and looked at it with a friend. And the shield was there in the service bay, right beside the car, when the hitch installation was happening. During the time I made a couple of phone calls outside the U-Haul office, the mechanic brought out the car, so I settled the bill and drove off. Even U-Haul's online videos show the heat shield being reinstalled on this same model car, so I know it's supposed to be their normal procedure. Meanwhile, even though I called U-Haul and requested a callback from the install location, I haven't heard back. Already ordered a replacement from the car dealer and will have it installed. I expect this to be at U-Haul's expense. I have a dispute still open with U-Haul.

I live all the way in Brooklyn NY and asked a local business owner if they could refer me somewhere I could trust to get me back on the road. They referred me to Direct Drive Diagnostics and when I got there, Thomas literally stopped what he was working on to assist me. This is arguably one of the best mechanic experiences I've ever had. Lisa the office Manager was a sweetheart and Thomas and his partner were able to assess what was wrong, and get my car up in running in roughly under 40 minutes. They were honest, hospitable, all had a great sense of humor and I felt welcomed and comforted that everything was going to be resolved. I highly recommend this place and even living in Brooklyn will bring my car back there moving forward because of how great and reliable they are.
