Surprisingly, the waxing treatment on my upper lip and chin left no redness that lingered on, so I was pleased since I usually have a mild sensitivity to wax in general. Sarah really has great customer service every time I come in for my appointment she makes me feel so welcomed and comfortable, we can talk about anything. The wax she uses is so great! I am of middle eastern descent and I naturally have a lot of hair, her wax is strong and removes all of my thick stubborn hair. I never have breakouts or any side effects from her waxing at all since I've been coming in to her. Her shop is always clean and cozy and feels very homey too. I really enjoy coming to Sarah for my waxes and I know you will to. She practices great cleanliness and sanitizes everything she uses which is a really big thing for me. Before, my eyes would be bloodshot and swollen for day after and the lashes were way too long for my eyes. When I first went to Ava, she knew just want I was looking for after sharing 1-2 inspo picks. What's nice too is that, I was able to have my appointment as a fill rather than needing to get my lashes removed. After just one hour, I was done! I paid through Venmo which gives me the option to tip (always do because Ava is that girl) and I was able to make future appointments with her via Vagaro. If something comes up too, I'm able to quickly text Ava. I see her weekly for a mini hybrid fill which is $50 and it takes less than an hour. She's sweet, quick, and makes you feel comfortable. I've definitely snoozed practically every application and I'm sure she's heard me snoring‍. Not only is Ava amazing at what she does, this place is very aesthetically pleasing and easily accessible. There's always parking out front too! In the lobby area, there's things to purchase like tshirts, candles, and cute sunnys. This makes it very convenient if you're needing to buy a nice gift or if you want to treat yourself.

I decided to update my previous review. This update is one instead of three because not only her…read morelack of communication not just one time but multiple times. Her charge of 35% that she charged me that she should not have and then refunded it almost immediately when I called her out on it because she knew she should have charged me and she did. But now when I asked her to refund deposit I paid she not only has not communicated but her lack of communication from the beginning and the fact that she is fighting me on the $25 deposit. I only canceled because of her lack of communication. If she had an issue refunding it to me, then she should've communicated, but I didn't get any messages unless they got lost in La La Land. But from the beginning, I had to message her multiple times to even get a response which should've been a red flag to begin with, but I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt and now I know why I should not have. So yes, I am still giving her a lower updated review score because she is now fighting me on that $25 deposit that I was requesting back.

Despite having a scheduled appointment, we ended up sitting and waiting for about 25 minutes. To make things worse, another customer walked in and was told they were next, as if my appointment and wait time didn't matter. At that point, we felt completely disregarded and decided to leave. It was very unprofessional and disappointing.
