Ok here I go reviewing chains again.... which I never do because its expected to be the same as any other ruby Tuesday youve ever been to... Well first off u went for lunch and it was not busy at all. Took 10 minutes for server to come to my table and ask what I wanted to drink... I just ordered at that point. All I wanted was a grilled chicken sandwich with cheese lettuce tomatoes and onion... simple right?? No it wasnt she was very confused... she finally put my order in after she figured it out... 10 minutes later she brought my iced tea back... I went into the restroom and decided NOT to wash my hands as it was one of the dirtiest restrooms I ever been in. My food arrived and the bun looked like they bought tje cheapest bun they could find at wal mart... the bottom bun looked like they soaked it in water first... How often to you think about Ruby Tuesday and think 4 stars. Great salad. Always a plus. There was something different. Now, it has been years since I have been to a Ruby Tuesday, but really had an urging for spinach salad and a comfortable place to relax and eat. Things have changed and for the better. Table clothes on the table. Wow. Kudos there. Cheesy bread rolls with every order. Surprise. Not to mention, ours were fresh out of the oven and hot. Selection of mixed greens, spinach, carrots, onions, olives, peppers, ham, bacon, tomatoes and pasta salads as expected exactly what I wanted. Our server was a doll. She was sweet. This place has got some bad food --not just this location, but all locations I've visited. Steaks are obviously frozen and low grade, resulting in a grainy, tasteless product; steaks always overcooked; mashed potatoes are obviously prepackaged, loaded with salt and barely tasting of potato; onion rings are obviously frozen and the onion is flavorless; triple prime burger is cardboard-dry; chicken fingers are obviously frozen; broccoli is dry and bland; salad bar mixed greens are often near the point of rotting; many salad bar vegetables obviously precut and prepared; salad bar salads (e.g. pasta salads) obviously made at some central factory and come straight out of a box... So what is so "fresh" about Ruby Tuesday's food? They harp on this term more than any other chain restaurant, but fall flat on their face when it comes to delivery. This is what you get when bean counters, not people who genuinely care about the food that they're serving you, determine the quality of your food, folks. It's not about the food; it's how cheap can we make it and how much can we leach out of the customer. Food corporations are evil. The only 'bright' spot about this Ruby Tuesday is their bartender Justin: he's very cordial, always remembers my name and my friends' names and gets my drinks to me quickly. So why would I frequent a place that I detest so much? Well, there aren't a whole lot of non-chain choices here in Florence, SC, so I am occasionally relegated to visiting Ruby Tuesday. People aren't very demanding here; they just take what they get, hence the success of more and more chains. Also this location is only a mile down the road and it's the only place in my neck of the woods where I can get food and a beer. What's the point to going to the next closest place that meets these criteria, Applebee's, when they're just as bad? The atmosphere around the bar area isn't all too bad, albeit standard, which is where I generally hang out. It's your run-of-the-mill restaurant bar with a couple of TVs. I've sat in the dining area, and it's dreary except for the oppressively huge and bright lamp right above your booth. Plus the service has always been very bad and slow. Bottom line: Having the audacity to serve to the food that they serve is what earns not only this location, but the entire company, one star. read more

Wow. I should have read the other Yelp reviews before we went. This place is absolutely horrible. I will also be posting on the Ruby Tuesday corporate Facebook and sending and email. They should know this location is changing their menu!!!! The wait staff has no idea how food is supposed to be prepared. We ordered from the seasonal menu and it took 3 attempts at a loaded sweet potato. The story behind why is too shameful to even share on this review. My husband ordered the shrimp platter that was missing a sauce listed on the menu. Again when we inquired the staff made it seem like it wasn't on the menu, like we was crazy! They are not making Ruby Tuesday's menu!! The food is awful and not even close to described. The service was quick, Friday night plenty of parking and go right to a table. Hint-hint. Food came out quick although completely wrong and over salted. Yes we asked to speak to the manager and Brittany came over and defended all of there misdeeds like we where crazy. Then ended up by saying she will discuss the issues with the staff, well she Is the issue!!! Ruby Tuesday corporate get with it! So anyway, we paid for this horrible meal and service, we wasn't offered any discounts and we didn't ask. Guess what! To sign the check, they gave me a pencil that couldn't barely write and you couldn't see anything. Incompetence to the very end. Took a long time to get a cheeseburger only to get a cold hamburger and fries. Then the waitress had an attitude about my daughters cheeseburger not having pickles. Then the manager came over to try to smooth things over by asking if she could fix it by making another one. Hell no I'm not waiting another 1/2 hour for another cold cheeseburger. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service......Ruby Tuesday, is Ruby Tuesday....the food, bar, and salad bar is the same nationwide.....The quality of the food the good, the salad bar is great, that's why we come. However the staff is seriously demoralized and quite honest needs reevaluating. Came into restaurant and quickly seated....then the wait started....12 minutes before I was even greeted, then just downhill from there. Sour attitude and overall bad experience. No smiles, no service....no return.....this was the third attempt to give my local neighborhood restaurant and positive attempt.....however in the future I will drive the extra 10 minutes to next closest restaurant. read more

yay! ruby tuesday everyday! So i took on a vegetarian diet for a little bit...it lasted a week or two while i was living in florence and it turned out to be a extremely hard task to go out to eat. All i could find was a side vegetables, mac and cheese and fried okra. Enter ruby tuesday! Ruby tuesdays is the only place that has veggie burgers in florence (other than maybe burger king) i get the zuchinni sliders which comes with 3 mini burger with zuchinni patties, sweet potato fries and it comes with a yummy salad bar for $10. The cheese biscuit they give you in the beginning is delicious as well. read more

Awful. I think they cater to interstate traffic so they are not concerned about repeat customers. We are local and they last couple of times we've been here we said we wouldn't be back. I mean it this time. The salad bar was gross (brown lettuce, film on the salad dressing). Service was slow but our waitress was nice. Would not recommend and won't be back. read more

Nasty and filthy! Waitresses were passing around a baby then going to refill drinks, pass out silverware, and serve food without washing their hands. I've seen cleaner bathrooms at rest stops along the interstate. Salad bar was a mess. My chicken strips which had sauce on them were thrown on top of my fries. This got sauce all over my fries. I didn't think I needed to request separate plates for my food, but shame on me for not doing so. read more

Not a place to go looking for a top rate meal, but for an average meal it will do. Low marks because we came for the great cheese biscuits they give you.....well we were told no more cheese biscuits ever!!! Very disappointed. Went on easter sunday, they did not have enough help to have us to be able to eat dinner. I was like ok. We left. Came back on Monday me and my kids, was seated quickly. Ordered food and drinks took a very long time to get our food. My son's cheeseburger had no cheese! So I waited on waiter to let him know, he said he picked up wrong burger. Took over 30 minutes to bring a piece of cold cheese on the plate. Why not have them re make the burger so cheese could have been melted. Noticed that the table close to me the waiter kept forgetting their food orders and adding things they told them to leave off. Well this doesn't bit the apple. I ordered zucchini it was so greasy I could use it to fry chicken. I ordered ribs they were cooked to hard couldn't cut it with the knife. So I let waiter know he sent manager out she replaced both well when it came back out looked as if someone ate the meat off of the rib it was just bones. I just threw it in trash when I left. Waiters fingers were in my fries as he carried my plate. I used to love eating dinner at this place everyday. Now this experience has definitely turned my yes into a definitely no. read more

I was hoping things had changed since my last visit, more than a year ago. We visited today simply because we needed to use up a gift certificate. The service was impeccable. Our server could not have been more attentive. Sorry to say that's the only good thing about the experience, and the only reason for three stars. I ordered the ribs and chicken. The half rack of ribs were tough and overcooked, while the fries were cold, under seasoned, and clearly were not cooked made to order. My husband's ribeye, ordered medium, had no pink at all in the center of his steak (or anywhere else) and was under seasoned. The cheesecake was good, nothing special, but my Tiramisu had way too strong of a rum flavor. I would have named this restaurant one of my favorite places to eat a few years ago, but now I would never spend my hard-earned money here. Kudos to the wait staff, though. They deserve to be able to serve better food. read more

This is a chain restaurant so the four stars are for the category that Ruby Tuesday falls under. It is Christmas Eve and we are happy that anything was open. The service was excellent, no liquor in SC on Sunday but certainly not the waitress' fault. I had the petite sirloin and my husband had the grilled chicken sandwich. My steak was surprisingly good, tender and juicy cooked to order. My husband was very happy with his sandwich. The salad bar boasts 55 items. I was really tempted to count them. I have seen neater and more appetizing presentations but all in all not too terrible. The pita was actually warm. If you are stopping at exit 164 for the night not too bad and had moments of pretty good. read more

Lunch Saturday December 19, 2015. I had Ruby Tuesday for lunch, it was awful! The waitress was as friendly as a serial killer. With my steak, which was the wrong one, I had grilled Zuchiini and grilled Brussels sprouts.The so called fresh Zuchiini was freezer burned, and the Brussels sprouts smelled like a nasty roadside rest garbage can in the summer... Due to the convenient location, I eat and have adult beverages here at least twice a month. However, Ruby Tuesdays is highly overpriced. The quality of their food (which often tastes like it was frozen) and portions (very small amount of food in a large plate) do not warrant the price that is being charged. Mixed drinks and wine are expensive. Also, the mixed drinks seem to slight patrons on the alcohol but charge top prices. If more restaurant options were in this area, I think that Ruby Tuesdays would struggle to compete. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Received an email stating that I was eligible for a free burger on my birthday, up to $10 in value. So I showed the waitress my ID/email, and she took my order for a bacon cheeseburger. AN HOUR LATER, my burger arrived. When the waitress asked to see the email for the redemption code, there was no code. So she had the manager take a look at the email, who said that without a code, I was not eligible for the promotion. I asked if there was any way I could pay for a different item, such as an appetizer, but they were not agreeable to this. So #1, the company needs to send out the CORRECT email for this promotion, and #2, the waitress/manager should have told me BEFORE I ordered/ate the burger that I was not eligible for the promotion. Instead, I basically got scammed on my birthday. The "correct" email that I was supposedly due to receive in a few days never arrived. I will never be dining here AGAIN!!! read more
