The changes over time at Ruby Tuesday have been very evident for me. They still try to maintain pace with similar style restaurants. We walked in and were immediately seated. Our server was EXCELLENT! He was attentive and remained engaged appropriately. The salad bar was just OK, it ran out of a few items and when brought to the attention twice it was not replenished. The order came quickly and the food was hot. The restaurant was sparely occupied for a weekend day. The interior could benefit from an update/refresh. The ordered drink - Strawberry Margarita was good. The trio - steak, ribs, shrimp meal was enjoyable and all proteins cooked well. The smash burger was good enough and I couldn't really tell what made the salad bar 2.0 an elevated from original. My love for The Ruby Tuesday runs so deep. It was my first job, and I worked at the one here, for almost 10 years. So I had to stop in while on my mini vacation. The restaurant was pretty empty when I arrived. Service was decent. Food was exactly what I remember. My only complaint is that I ordered a meal Togo, since I was staying at a local hotel. I wasn't given Togo cutlery and didn't realize until I was ready to heat and eat later that night. It was a chicken pasta, so I kinda wasn't able to eat the food. read more

Ruby Tuesday's salad bar used to be the reason so many people would actually go to that restaurant. Tonight I got one to go and I gotta tell you it was about the worst experience. It wasn't like they were closing time. They just didn't have several items that made the salad bar like spinach, scallions, hard-boiled egg, turkey, cottage cheese, fruit, even crackers and bread they didn't have. This is like a Third World salad bar and you're still paying 13 bucks! I'm just so disappointed. I literally will probably never be back. It's been quite some time since I've been but I used to frequent Ruby Tuesdays just for the salad bar. Now it just seems like it's an afterthought. Disappointed in this place I had loved in the past. What a difference a bit of Covid-45, as he likes credit. I wanted to take some neighbors out to dinner and she picked here. Her food came cold and was sent back, her son was having a few issues, a story for a different time. We needed an understanding server and he was not reassuring in our eyes. The salad bar was something from another time, as very dated. My burger was good, and server got mine wrong, just a bit of work to get it right, really. We were driving to Sam's Club when we passed the Ruby Tuesdays. We live in Alabama, and all the locations near us have closed. There used to be one location in walking distance of our house, and it was a favorite spot for our whole family, so we decided to go for dinner. My favorites in the past were always the endless salad bar especially the fruit, the pasta salad and the rye croutons. The pasta salad has changed since the old days. It is now mayo based rather than vinegar. Also, they now have craisins rather than raisins. Otherwise it was pretty much the same. One thing that I was impressed with was how well they kept the salad bar filled. This was often a problem at the Ruby Tuesdays in Alabama. One thing I enjoyed this time was the Strawberry Lemonade with Tito's vodka. read more

Came in on Thursday for 8.99 smash burger for combo with the salad bar. We have a Autistic daughter who is allergic to several things on the salad bar, but loves the hamburger. Our male witness said she can not share it. I was going to eat it. I explain the situation & was told well guess she better not eat none then. We were visiting the area and were pleasantly surprised to see ruby Tuesdays. As most of the units in our hometown have closed down we we wanted to have a nostalgic meal. My Favorite hare has always been the saladbar and the mozzarella cheese sticks. The salad bar was well stopped art and continually maintained. My salad was perfect, lol. The mozzarella cheese sticks were tasty well fried and come with what I believe to be one of the best marinara sauces around. Others at the table got the sirloin steak and grilled chicken with their salad bar. Both said they were extremely satified with their meal preparation. CRAP service. I went in to get just the salad bar "to go". hostess directs me to the bar, and a server hands me a container, etc., telling me to just come back when I'm ready to check out. so I do. stood there being ignored for 10 minutes. caught the eye of the hostess who tells one of the two employees standing with her "she's ready to check out". stood there another 5 minutes. every single employee ignored me, so I put the container on the bar and left. We ended up here after the first 2 places we stopped, the staff was not wearing face coverings. (C'mon the POTIUS is hospitalized for Covid!) We were happy to see that everyone working here had on face coverings and gloves. The salad bar is open and it requires you to use disposable gloves to fill your plate, new plates and new gloves for every trip to the salad bar. The servers are very nice and attentive. Had dinner at this restaurant couple days ago. Was very good and had exceptional waitress. Was in the evening but not sure day. Had the 2 for 30 dinner. Very well cooked chicken. The broccoli was very well cooked and had great taste. Ice tea was good. The restaurant is very well kept and looked very good. Felt like the portions were good and enough, overall price was good. We went there on Feb 13th and the experience was what we have come to expect from Ruby Tuesdays.....what you SEE on the menu is most likely not what you are going to get. Both items we ordered were not even remotely what showed up on our plates. I had the Salmon and the picture on the menu showed a nice serving looking about 5 inches wide and two inches thick. What was on my plate was about 2 to 2.5 inches wide and 1 inch thick. My eyes got big as saucers when I realized the audacity they had to set that in front of a customer for the exorbitant price they charged. Had zucchini and a baked potato for sides. There was 5 thinly sliced pieces of zucchini and they were white as snow and just as cold......meaning they had not even been close to a pan to cook them. Oh and this was orchestrated because he got them as a side too and there were the same 5 thin slices in the same condition as mine. My other side was a baked potato and it was about the size of a medium avocado.......need I say more? He ordered the bourbon chicken and it featured two chicken breast and he opted for that as he was hungry. He had ordered this months ago and was well pleased and with the portion and it satiated his appetite. Low and behold they set before him two chicken breast that together might have weighed 6 ounces had you layed a couple of fifty cent pieces on them to add a little weight. They were pretty much tasteless and he is still wondering how they could throw the word "bourbon in the name of this entree. I already told you about his zucchini side and his other was french fries. Cold and the oil they were at one time cooked in had a bitter taste. Neither of our meals closely resembled what they were showing on the menu and they have no shame about deceiving people obviously or they would print up some new menus. I did hear the waitress apologizing to the guy next booth for the cake he ordered not looking like the menu pic. She justified it in her mind by telling him they had changed and she liked it better. He didn't, as small as it was he left half of it on his plate at $8 a pop. I am sure that was just one more of their corner cutters to increase their profit......customer be damned. Both of our meals had 3 strikes against them. The fourth was the prices. Quite literally one of the single handedly worst experiences I have had at a restaurant. This had me craving a sonic cheeseburger after eating this to cleanse my palette. "Potato soup"... mashed potatoes introduced with broccoli. $20 for a pot roast with minute maid potatoes, soggy bread for a side of toast and dry distasteful beef. I ordered a Moscow mule that was terrible, consisted of vodka and water without a mixer. The salad bar that you pay $6 extra for was the greatest part of the meal; half of it was empty and filled with mixed sauces and variants of other foods. There were two tables in the entire restaurant and 3 people sitting at a bar and it still took over 40 minutes for checks even after waiting an hour for food. I understand that we just got hit with a hurricane and COVID. However, we waited over 3 HOURS for food!! The service was ridiculous. The host was rude and short tempered. Then when they decided to close the host did not inform any of the waiting guests and just stopped seating them. The manager came and offered us free salad bar to make up for the wait but that was unacceptable. The server during the wait for food came over twice for drinks and that was it. She was not even seen elsewhere on the floor serving guests. People came in after us and didn't even wait and received there food after us. My experience at this Ruby Tuesday was not a bad one, it was actually pretty good. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant was very well put together and clean. I ordered the avocado bacon turkey burger with fries and decided to add on the salad bar. The salad bar was actually a lot better than I expected. There were 4 different types of lettuce/spinach to choose from, many options to put on your salad, at least 10 different dressings and probably some of the best croutons I've ever had before. You think they're going to be the hardest thing ever, but they have a surprisingly crunchy yet soft texture. The avocado burger was pretty good also, but didn't stand out above any other similar type sandwich I've had before. The fries were ok, they didn't seem to be very fresh though which prompted me to add a little ketchup to improve the taste. All in all, not a bad experience and I would go back again. There isn't anything I disliked about this particular Ruby Tuesday and there isn't anything that will probably blow you away, but you'll be satisfied. read more

Tried the new $12.99 deal and was pleased with the salad bar. They offered some new items on salad bar, that's always a crowd pleaser and my favorite part of the meal. The service was excellent‼ Edgar took care of us. He recommends food drinks and told us about happy hour and some new drinks... and really took the time to wait on us granted I didn't drink, my girlfriend did and was pleased with the beverage he chose for her topped with bacon she said it was delicious and we will be back. 3-4 hour wait on cold food & terrible service. 10/10 do not recommend spending you money or time here. Told us it would be 50% but didn't include certain things so it was more like 30% off. Ended up getting pissy when i asked why it wasn't 50% off and told us just to forget about it were "good". The manager across the restaurant yelled with an attitude "just give it to them. Y'all have a great day" lost our waitress half way through our dinner, and she barley ever came over to check on us, and if we asked for anything she would walk away before we could finish and we wouldn't see her for another 30 minutes. They prioritize to-go food over people that have been waiting for hours inside the restaurant. I want to talk to corporate at this point. Yes the food was free but the time I wasted i will never get back. Everyone working in that restaurant was miserable and rude. People that came in after us were sat, fed and paid about an hour or so before we even got our food. But they "ordered different stuff" , the 4 of us ordered chicken. And the people that got sat and fed before us ordered chicken too, so how is that different?
