OKay, Here is your strategy guide to ordering at this place. We had dinner and drinks here after a dog show, staying at the hotel across the way. It is low quality food and mixed drinks, and it's not cheap, either. First of all, they do have a happy hour...stick to beer and wine. The top shelf mixed drinks are made weak, so skip those. Salad bar add-on, $6.99, can be worth it...the greens were fresh. However, skip any of the mixed pasta salads or broccoli salads. The mixes are rather strangely flavored. Skip the soup. Skip the super thin steak, which is so thin that it's difficult to achieve a medium rare grilling. Skip the grilled chicken breast- they are very brined and teeny tiny, not worth the $18.99 plate. Skip the mashed potatoes, opt for rice or fries instead. Skip the fried shrimp. What CAN I recommend? The ribs. Those were worth the $22 price tag. The fries were good. Our bill, for two entrees, and four alcoholic beverages (wine, one mixed drink), came to $120+. No joke. We joined their "club" to get one entree free. While the server was generally on top of things, he really failed to give us good ordering advice. I'd rate him a 5/10. I still left a 20% tip, but I did politely let him know that the steak was unacceptable, even after specifically asking about the thickness of the steak. I hope he accepted my advice. Ruby Tuesday - you used to offer a pretty good salad bar back in the day. Now, it's very basic, too basic. You have raised your prices and your food quality is low, and portion sizes are very small. Upgrade the size of your chicken breast to a normal size. Your dollop of mashed potatoes was sad, and you subbed a tiny bit of overcooked broccoli for the advertised zuccini without even a word. I was sitting in the back right corner booth across from a beautiful 19 year old girl, Jess (my hinge date at the time), when I received the worst phone call that I have ever gotten in my life. I picked up and darted past the incredible salad bar and out the door. The words that I knew were coming but I would never be prepared to hear came out of my mother's mouth. "He's gone." This happened about 10 months ago and I only recently thought I should write something about it. Henry Trounbud's new hometown was Heaven Above. Jesus Christ probably greeted him with a grand handshake and a glass of cold root beer. My father lost his life in a two year battle with dementia. My dad LOVED this place. Before his dementia ramped up we were here once a week, ironically on Tuesdays lol. It felt so fitting to learn of his passing while I was here. This was his home away from home. We would go to those big fancy steakhouses in NYC and he would still tell our servers "Ruby Tuesday does it better." They'd laugh but he would make sure they knew he was serious. "I'm serious. The greatest steak I've ever had. Every week." he would let them know. One time he grabbed this dude's arm who laughed and walked away because he needed to let him know THAT badly that his Ruby Tuesday comment wasn't a joke. He grabbed him so hard we had to leave. My personal favorite is the burger, admittedly I don't even like the steak here. It's a little too dry for me. I wouldn't ever tell my dad that though. But this place is not special because of it's food. It is the memories. My father Henry was the kindest man I ever knew. He had so much love in his heart. The only people he didn't love were the girls that I would bring home, haha. He hated how young the girls I dated were, but young girls don't mind going on dates to Ruby Tuesday. Jess, for example, was so happy to come with me and helped me feel so much better about my father's passing that night at this wonderful place. The night he died, Jess kissed me and told me that I would be okay. She said she had lost her grandma in her senior year of high school and didn't think she would ever get over it. But here she was, two years later, going out on dates and living her life again. It was pretty amazing. An 11 year age gap was the type of thing that was a problem for my dad, but he is gone and Jess is my girlfriend of 9 months now. This restaurant changed my life in so many ways, but the most important was that it taught me to love what I love and not care what anyone else says. So dad, if you're reading this from up there in God's kingdom, I don't really love the steak from Ruby Tuesday. There I said it. But I do love you. Their food is simple, don't use high quality ingredients, but good enough to taste OK. Their service was good, waiter was attentive. Not really any ambiance. I had their new item Lobster bisque. Didn't have any pieces of lobster meat wasn't thick enough, but Okay. Their salad bar is very good. Everything is very fresh, presented well and lots of variety to choose from. I was pleasently surprised about my recent visit to Ruby's. It was lunch time and I expected a long wait, even left earlier to avoid the long wait. To my surprise, there were at most twenty people in the whole restaurant. I figured that was a bad sign, could the food be bad? Nothing further from the truth. Our server was extremely polite and friendly. She took our orders and brought everything In a timely manner. Everyone, there were six of us, got exactly what we ordered. So far so good. But what about the taste? That was the most surprising part of it all. Everything was hot, properly seasoned, fresh and most importantly delicious! At the bar they had a few games playing so the bar might be a place to check out. Our server was kind, friendly and helpful. I ordered the chicken cheese steak with a side of fries and opted for the salad bar. After opting for the salad bar and placing your order you get to take advantage of the all you can eat foods at the salad bar. They have a decent amount of veggies, pasta salads, egg salad, ham pieces, and sauces. You get to make the salad yourself and overall the salad bar isn't too bad. As for my cheesesteak, I wasn't a big fan of it. There wasn't much chicken in it and the taste was just off. It's hard to describe what exactly was wrong with it but the best way to describe it is that it tasted stale. The fries were okay but I felt they gave a small portion of it. I ordered online, and the cheeseburger and fries were to be ready within 20 minutes. I arrived 18 minutes after the order, and the order was ready. The burger was cooked to the correct temperature and was good. The fries were a little limp, which is typical when they accompany a burger in a plastic to go container. Pretty terrible experience overall. Waiter (John?) was nice but place was heavily understaffed. He gave me 3 Coke Zero refills but it tasted really off and diluted and gross. I ordered ribeye steak medium well and it was super well done and tough. Not worth the price. My coworkers had nachos which were edible but not great, and tacos which were decent. Cheesecake was their saving grace. Good size for the price, but nothing special flavor-wise. Table was really really sticky, as well as under the chair. We went to RT January 10, 2026. Our server Matthe S only had one table which was ours otherwise he was behind the bar filling orders and tending to bar customers. The food took a long while to arrive. Upon arrival the fries were cold. Hailed down a server, to get it rectified, Matthe S was too busy. When it came back there were less catfish fillets. Asked 3 different servers to get a TOGO box and our bill. Matthe S. finally came, took dirty dishes and we asked who to pay. He stated him. After a long wait we were going to pay Matthe S behind the bar. Issues with servers at that time. Matthe came from behind the bar with the payment device. He took the credit card and walked away. We wanted a receipt but the payment device was out of paper. He was not happy but got us a receipt. Made a comment that we did not leave a tip for his poor service. Colby, the manager, called on January 13 to see if could rectify the poor service. Called him back on three different days with no further follow up phone calls by Colby. Staying at the attached hotel, ordered a to go order for an easy lunch. When I went to pick it up we walked up to the hostess stand, where the hostess saw us coming then walked away. Stood there waiting to be acknowledged for a few minutes before she came back. I told her we had a pickup order. She pointed at a couple bags sitting on the bar and said "It's probably one of those." I walked over and was chatting with a friend eating at a nearby table. When the hostess came by I said "I'm not sure which is mine" she's like "If you turn them around there are names on them." She was very snotty. Not sure why. I should mention, there were probably a whopping five customers in the restaurant. I'm pretty annoyed that I tipped for an order that I got absolutely no service on. I should also mention the amount of chicken tenders and fries you get for $16 per meal is laughable. I literally could've gotten the same amount and quality at a fast food drive thru. This is why I tell my kids we eat at local restaurants over chain. Better food, better service. Just returned home after a very pleasant experience at Ruby Tuesday. My daughter Maria and I enjoy our bi weekly visit to thus very pleasant place. The food is always very good and the salad bar is fresh and plentiful. The staff is friendly and does their job well. We had a new server, Arianna who was very friendly and efficient. I believe Jesse is the bar mgr but not only does a great job at the bar but also oversees the restaurant. He was a big help today as the restaurant was crowded. I was very disappointed in the ribs I ordered about a year ago and sent back twice and did not go back . A friend wanted to go there this evening and I said yes and was so happy I did. Our server was 90% responsible for the 5 stars and I wanted to compliment him and you for choosing him. The menu has several offerings that seemed appealing to me. I started out with a sangria as it was Sangria Monday which my waitress had not heard of previously. I asked if I could order a ribeye dinner and add a half rack of ribs and the answer was "no." It's hard for me to believe that they would turn down money from a paying customer by refusing me a half slab of ribs a-la-cart. My steak came out and looked like it had been baked or microwaved as there were no discernible grill marks. I couldn't taste any seasoning on my steak and so I added salt and pepper. I had mac n' cheese as my side and it was quite good. The mac n' cheese filled a little more than half of the dish that it was served in. The only positives here are that the menu has menu offerings, the prices are fair and there are daily drink specials. The taste and quality of the food is not great and the service was not good. During our Vacation to New Jersey, we stopped at Ruby Tuesday twice, as it was right across the street from our hotel. The first night was the salad bar and it was alright. Everything seemed fresh. The second visit was on Friday for Happy Hour and dinner. There's a BIG banner over the entrance to the bar advertising $2 All-American Drafts. But the sign in the bar said Happy Hour drafts were $3. When I asked the waitress/bartender, she said it's whatever that sign says, meaning the one in the bar. I suggested she have someone remove the BIG banner. Anyway, when she returned with our beers she said, they must have just changed it, the beers are $2. Hmmmm... Maybe they would have been $3 if I didn't question her. Who knows. Anyway, we both ordered the Fish Fry and it was really good. And... When an employee walked out of the kitchen, we noticed a sign on the inside of the door. I have been here five or six times. I kept returning and hoping it would get better, but instead, it has declined in the last few years. The food is adequate. Mostly it is just bland, not special, cafeteria quality, food. The worst thing we ever got served here was an almost-raw salmon. Food also seems to "run out" quite often, especially the hush puppies. I have always been treated politely by the people working here. Sometimes I could see that they were tired-looking, and I felt bad for them because I think the restaurant is understaffed and each server has too many customers to take care of. Something else I noticed is that some servers wear Ruby Tuesday uniform shirts that are the wrong size for them. I do not blame the staff for this, but rather management or corporate, who must not be providing enough shirts in certain sizes. (I am sensitive to this since I myself have worked at a different place which only had Medium uniforms when I needed an Extra-Large. I felt degraded being forced to wear a too-small top). Ruby Tuesday--your employees deserve better! Because they are usually short-staffed, service typically takes a long time, even at the "curbside to go" desk. I was recently picking up a to go order, which had been called in ahead of time, that took 15 minutes even though I was the only customer. Then the order was partially wrong and fixing it took another 15 minutes. This gave me a full half hour to stare at the ripped cushions I was sitting on (see photo) and dirty walls, countertop, and menus. The location is convenient and the parking lot is big. I feel like Ruby Tuesday had really fallen off. I stopped in for a burger on lunch today and was underwhelmed. This location is in front of one of the hotels in this area. I sat at the bar and the bartender was great and the staff was super friendly and working together which was great, but the food is just average. I had the "Triple Prime" Cheeseburger and it tastes just like any other burger and it's not really that big. Fries came out with too much salt. Overall, just an average $11 burger, there was nothing "triple prime" about it.
