Customer service was great the two guys in the front helped me pick out my order. I ordered a breakfast platter. Fried eggs, French toast and chicken legs. Eggs were okay, the French toast was good and the chicken was even better. Will definitely come back here for the chicken, best chicken shack chicken I've tasted in this area.

The honey biscuit was delicious: savory, buttery, sweet - it hit all the right notes without being too dry.

Every bite had that classic smash burger flavor: juicy beef, caramelized crust, and just the right balance of toppings without overcomplicating it. The fries were solid too -- hot, crispy, and the perfect sidekick to the burger. Overall the spot has a chill, no-nonsense burger joint vibe where the focus is clearly on doing smash burgers right with great service. If you're in New Brunswick and craving a proper smash burger, this place definitely hits the spot. Would 100% come back to try the shakes next time.

The name describes them perfectly - they serve sandwiches on buns and shakes. Everything here is greasy but oh so good. The smash burgers were great and had a crust on the outside of the patty that elevated the meal. Mozzarella sticks had a great cheese pull - which is always a good sign. The shakes are solid and the side of mac and cheese, I fully didn't expect to get that large of a serving, but it was so great also. While the meal was on the pricier side considering you're getting a bunch of junk food, it was definitely tasty and a perfect restaurant for a college town!

I just wish there was something fresh or crunchy to balance out all the soft textures from the bread, beef patty, and cheese. I also added beef bacon to my burger, even though it's not listed as an add on the menu. I really wish more of these newer smashburger restaurants had lettuce and/or tomatoes as an add on topping. That would help cut through the grease and make the burger feel a little lighter. The restaurant is very clean and bright, I liked the atmosphere while I was in there and the staff were nice!

Quick and easy ordering process, staff don't waste any time getting your order & getting to work on it. Oddly enough there is an ordering kiosk at the counter right next to where you would order with staff. I guess that is for if you're feeling anti-social. Sitting area upstairs, so it is not wheelchair or elderly friendly for the sitting area. No outdoor seating. A very hustle & bustle kinda deal. We had the double patty smash. Overall was it "WTT?" Worth The Trip....YES! Absolutely!! The burger was amazing. It tasted like the smashburger in my mind. Perfection! So even at 30 minutes from my house and horrific parking, I would definitely come back. Grades: Double Patty: A++

A short walk later, I found myself at Destination Dogs, a place I had seen in photographs that suggested capaciousness. In reality, it is smaller.  This is not a complaint, just an observation.  I remember once hearing something about the contents of small packages. At 12:30 the place was full. Packed with humanity and appetite. I was seated quickly, as if someone had anticipated my hunger in advance. From the bar came the sound of construction crews discussing their midday rituals. Apparently this is where they come on Fridays, to repair themselves while they repair the city. It explained everything. Service was swift and attentive, a minor miracle given the crowd. I began with a Scotch egg, an item that seemed to have wandered in from another story entirely. I ordered it for that reason. I had always imagined my first Scotch egg would be eaten in an English pub under low ceilings and older regrets. Instead, here it was. Perfectly crisp, warm, and generous. The universe does not ask for permission. Then came the main event. The menu is an atlas of hot dogs. Domestic. International. Proteins in tube form arranged like possibilities. There is even an invitation to build your own, which I accepted. I attempted to recreate a favorite from Crif Dogs, a thing called the Spicy Redneck. Bacon wrapped dog. Pickled jalapenos. Coleslaw. Simple in theory. Destination Dogs improved upon it in every way that matters. The bacon crisped with purpose. The jalapenos spoke clearly. The coleslaw behaved. The hot dog itself seemed proud to be there. All of this, plus a 16 ounce beer, cost me about twenty five dollars with tip. A small price for order in a chaotic universe. Five stars. Not because perfection exists, but because this comes close enough to make the argument.

I've been here twice with groups of 6. We've ordered everything from the burgers, to the chicken sandwiches and fish and chips. I ordered a Chicken Caprese sandwich and I enjoyed it the first time. The 2nd time I ordered the Veggie Wrap which I decided to turn into a sandwich. That didn't work so well. The burgers were good too. The items all had the option of fries or salad. All the food was good, except the fish and chips was batter and very little fish. The old school ambiance is really nice. The restaurant has an upstairs and downstairs dining area, each with its own bar. If in the area for a show, Tavern on the George has it down to a science getting all the groups in and out in time. Although, the food is nothing special, I'd come here again.

I was offered "regular or spicy" sliders while ordering - I chose spicy. The flavor of the orange colored sauce was good (nothing to write home about) and the spice level was only a 2 out of 10 for me (it might as well have just been the regular sliders). I took my meal to-go, because the location itself doesn't have the greatest ambiance. It looks pretty cool - high ceilings, relatively clean surfaces and floors, bright orange paint around the ordering counter... But there wasn't any background music or TVs - so when you walk into a place that has zero customers dining-in and chatting, it's not the most inviting atmosphere. Overall, this is a cool spot with 1) extremely prompt service - I was inside for just under two minutes between ordering and taking my to-go bag of food 2) good quality halal chicken and 3) great pricing for a quick lunch or light dinner!

The menu is not bad. Good selection for many. The eating area is roomy where you will not feel like you sitting up under others. The staff was friendly and good timing with getting the food out I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. The real taste test comes when my future Yelp Grand daughter taste it.
