My husband and I ate at the Ruchda Wings location in Stockbridge yesterday and decided to order chicken wings and french fries. Later on, I noticed a terrible nauseated and painful feeling in my stomach and I began to desk out in sweats so immediately told my husband that I wasn't feeling too well and that we needed to head home. Now of course, I had never thought that it would be Ruchda simply because my husband and I are there years ago and had no problem. Well once we got home, I immediate ran to the bathroom and within in seconds, I began to feel painful hives popping up all over my face. I looked in the mirror and was horrified then came the itching. I am deathly allergic to seafood so when I let my husband know and see what was happening, he was in total shock. I was having an allergic reaction. Now Ruchda was the only thing that we had eaten yesterday so I knew that this meant that they had gotten careless and cooked their seafood in the same oil that they had done our wings. My husband immediately called to request a manager and when the manager got on the phone, he stated that they had not sold "barely" any fish that day and tried to cover the entire incident instead of taking responsibility for something that could have been life threatening. I am still sitting here at 7:30am the next morning with a swollen face after taking benadryl (which helped when I first had my reaction) and cannot believe that this has happened. My husband and I plan to reach corporate and if nothing is done to rectify this issue then we are filing suit. I have two children who need me and I should not have to be concerned with my life as a long time customer of Ruchda who is spending mine and my husband's hard earned money to support their restaurant. They have no regard for the lives of others and I firmly believe that if you care for yourself and yyou ur family, you will not eat there or support them. I have photos of my face, our receipt from yesterday, our checking account that shows having only eaten there and am in the process of securing an attorney who will subpoena their sales records for that day since the manager "barely" sold any fish that day. I am truly disappointed because a simple, "I sincerely apologize and will ensure that my staff does not make this mistake again" would have sufficed. Get ready Ruchda because you're going to have to answer to the LAW for what you've done. read more

I like this place a lot and come a lot. I wouldn't bother with delivery though - call ahead of time. Lemon Pepper is great - or mild lemon pepper. Staff isn't always great though. read more

This place has the best teriyaki lemon pepper chicken, but the fries are always undercooked. Don't get a drink from the soda fountain, all of the drink taste like dirty water. Also, I've yet to see the cashier smile or say hello when someone walks in. read more

I am a wing fanatic. I love wings and I love going to wing shops. When I first tried RuChDa, I was drawn into all the different types of flavors displayed. I just had to try the honey garlic pepper which will now be my favorite flavor of wings! It is a sweet juicy sauce that has a hint of garlic flavor! Not too thick or overly seasoned but just juicy and complimented the chicken even with all the moist sauce it was still very crunchy! The restaurant itself has a modern feel to it with orange lights and white tables to contrast. A nice place to chow down on some wings but also very spacious and warming. The staff here is excellent. This was our go-to wing place until they went under "new" management. Not the same as the friendly & great customer service we previously had. Even the management's "no care" attitude turned me off. My daughter and I visited here for the first time Sunday afternoon. We have driven by several times and said we should give it a try. We went for an early dinner and arrived around 430p. The first impression wasn't so good as the trash can out front was packed full and over flowing. They had a few specials taped on paper to the front glass but it was so hot outside that we didn't hang around too long to read them. No mention of the specials once inside the building. The inside seemed to be fairly clean. As we were placing our order they asked us whether we would be dining in or carry out. We said dining in as we intended to do just that. 20 wings, small fries and 2 drinks was over $20. Not bad I guess. We were given our drinks which are not free refills by the way ( and no unsweet tea ) We waited for at least 25 minutes for our order. Only one other customer in the place. Not sure what the hold up was .... Then they didn't give us our ranch or blue cheese. We had to ask for it twice and about 5 minutes later it showed up. The wings were not LARGE but they weren't small either. Average I guess. They were nice and crispy and had good flavor. The weird part is that all food is served in to-go containers and no plates. We told them we were eating here and she said they serve all their food like that. The fries had a good flavor and cooked just right. Oh well. 3 stars for good food but 3 stars for slow service, full trash cans, and no plates. read more

This place has the absolute worst customer service ever!!!! It's obvious that all the cashiers need to be trained on customer service and phone etiquette. I called to place an order and the girl left me on hold for 4 minutes. I called back and she wanted to put me on hold again and I reminded her that I was on hold. With no apology and very rudely she told me she had customers to take care of . Really so il just calling you to talk on the phone. It would have been so easy for her to say ma'am we are very busy and I will need to put you on hold. This is not my first encounter with these unprofessional people. I WILL NEVER FREQUENT THIS BUSINESS AGAIN!! The owner never staffs up to meet the demand and stop hiring these immature teenagers!!! read more

I came on a Sunday evening and it wasn't very busy at the time. My order took 30 MINUTES! Management made no attempt to apologize for the situation. The customer service is horrible and the food is overpriced on top of all that. I will definitely not be back to support this establishment. read more

Tried honey cajun, lemon pepper, mild and teriyaki wings. They were okay , but they kinda tasted like the last batch of the night. All but the teriyaki wings were dry to me. As wing spots go RuChda is pretty decent. Menu offers a variety of flavors and other food items. Sides are limited but the wings make up for that. Food items are a bit pricey than some. My review would rate higher but there is often a wait and service is inconsistent not bad service but customer is not too on the list either. Nothing special. Ordered 10 medium and 10 teriyaki. The medium were fine but the teriyaki were a bit over cooked. I called ahead by 15min and still had to wait an additional 15min. And they were on the small side for sure. But the sauces were flavorful. But for $1 a wing, I won't be back. read more

The Philly here is soo delish!!...it made up for the burnt wings. Also the honey Cajun sauce is da bomb bomb, sweet and tangy. The only downside to this spot is that the bathroom stinks of sewage. I've been eating here for years. Originally i'd given ruchda an awesome review. But after being a regular customer I've found several highly disappointing issues. The last time I ordered, I said I were done eating there. Well, I actually gave it another try and that time was worst than the last. For 2 drinks and 30 wings and a fry my balance typically costs me nearly $60 including delivery. The fries are always cold. I ordered a philly cheese steak and couldn't believe what i'd actually received for my money. I'm super done with ruchda. read more

The wings here are awesome, but they are out of celery over 50% of the time. I work close by and will continue coming occasionally for lunch, but WHY can't they keep celery in stock at a Wings place??? Also I have issues explaining I want celery as the side (it is listed as a side item in addition to coming with the wings), and have had to argue to get celery as a side even when it is available. Too bad, because otherwise I would give 5 stars, and come here once a week instead of once a month! The wings are really great, but as others have stated, the poor management drives people away. I got 20 teriyaki wings to go. I had to wait 25 minutes for my order to be ready, even though the restaurant was empty. When I went to check out, the wings looked dry. The girl at the counter told me the sauce would be in the bottom of the box. I got home and was very disappointed to find there was no teriyaki sauce in the container at all and the wings were dry, over cooked and tough. Total disappointment! I ordered wings and was told they would be ready in 15 minutes. 40 minutes later and I am still waiting. It's not like the place is crowded they are just in no hurry. The wait is miserable because there is a child running around screaming at the top of their lungs and a person on speaker phone so everybody can hear the conversations. Ordered the parmesan garlic wings and they tasted like a bucket of sauce had been thrown on them they were dripping wet.

Burger served extra greasy/soggy and in a pool of sauce and grease in the box. Men's and women's room also gross. Will not be back.
