This has been a favorite spot for my family over many years. The food is fresh and delicious and the waiters are always ready to make a suggestion whenever one of us wishes to go off their 'favorite'. I have over time suggested this restaurant to several friends and relatives and none have ever had a bad experience. The lunch buffet is a nice alternative on days that I have time. Last New Year's Eve my extended family celebrated the 'early' seating and thoroughly enjoyed the fare provided (buffet). Just the other night we ordered the Chicken Pfall again. Our guest said "we like spicy". I explained this dish is not for the faint of heart. Green sauce - makes Vindaloo look like child's play. My face melts but it is soooo good! Neither guest got past two bites... The owner and the staff deliver consistently terrific food, and caring service We have eaten through most of the menu over the last two years, and we have developed a few favorites: shrimp mango curry, chicken chettinadu (roasted black pepper and coconut), veggie Korma (creamy nuts and raisins), chicken Phall (blistering hot), yellow Dahl (chickpeas) and all of the Naans Perfect choice for a rainy chilly night! Alright, time for another update. They must have changed something again, this time for the better. Lasooni Gobi is back to perfection, and sauces on the curries are thicker. The curry chicken and the chicken tikka marsala was fairly good. No where near the best but kind of food the makes you shrug your shoulders and say to yourself well at least I'm full. The samusa was over fried and lamb taste old and chewy. The gulab jamun was awful. 4 dollars gives you tiny tiny dumplings complete RIP off The mango lassi was very good. But served in a soup container The lime soda was the worst drink I ever drank. Tons of salt in a soda. I'm convinced they gave us margarita mix They tried to short us on the rice order too. It's simple math. You have 4 entrees you get 4 rice. Not 2 not 3 but 4. Overall there was more negatives than positives and the fact that it came out to 120 dollars (tip not included) was enough for me to decide not to go back there. I always bring new people with me and they are all equally impressed with the quality. Their vegetable dishes are diverse and filled with flavor. I can always depend on the chicken tandoori and tikka masala being moist, and the food is always plentiful. Their mango custard is perfect and I love when it makes an appearance at the buffet. I came here on a Saturday afternoon for their weekend lunch buffet. I found it to be low in pretense but high in quality and quantity, and a great place for lunch in an unexpected location (the middle of a strip mall). I was amazed how many entrees and side dishes they were able to stack on a set of buffet tables. It costs a little more for the lunch buffet on weekends, but it's certainly worth it. I did not try the goat, but I did try all the chicken dishes, all of which I enjoyed but some were better than others. Among my favorites were the chicken vindaloo (with a nice kick) and the mushroom saag. They had multiple types of rice available. Nothing was bad, but for me some of the dishes could have been better. The chicken tikka masala, for example, had a lighter sauce (more cream flavor than tomato), and the chicken was a little tough, as in perhaps cooked too fast. The chicken vindaloo on the other hand was very tender. I liked the variety of pakoras, particularly the zucchini pakoras, but I found the batter to be too salty. The naan was a bit too chewy. For dessert, besides kheer, they had a mango custard with large chunks of mango. It was rich and creamy, sort of like a mango lassi shake turned into a custard. But the mango chunks were much colder than the custard, with ice crystals, so they had previously been frozen. The decor is simple and pleasant, and the service was great. If I lived locally, I'd eat here a lot. read more

Ruchi is great in my opinion. I've only eaten here once but I throughly enjoyed everything. I had the tikka masala and some meat platter thing. The tikka was flavorful and delicious, not very spicy sadly but still very good. I really enjoyed the meat platter thing too. Their naan bread is also very nice. I also tried the hot and sour soup which was the perfect balance of hot and sour. All in all, I'll definitely eat here again! 10/10 stars read more
