From the past pictures of this taco truck, I didn't get any turnips nor jalepenos. Maybe they stopped it or ran out. It would have been nice to have experience the full package if that is what it is usually. Regardless, their tacos are still packed with flavor and sauce. A bit on the dry side, but that's why they give at least lime wedges to help with the dry side. Their beef cheek is superbly tender! Chorizo was nicely spiced up as well as their pastor. I wish they added the pineapple and made it al pastor instead. It would have made it one upped on that taco! They ran out of fish, which is what I wanted as a seafood taco so I just ordered up two pastors. I should have gotten like carne asada beef, but desired pastor a lot more at the time of ordering and substituting the fish instead. They have rice entrees and burrito wraps. My eyes are always on tacos when it comes to taco trucks! Their drinks are mostly bottled. I wished that they served up more fresh drinks, such as horchata or iced tea. My favorite taco truck! I've eaten a lot of tacos in my life but Ruddy's has to be #1 in my heart! And belly! Soooo good! I will forever keep coming back here. I took my Mexican taco aficionado girlfriend here and she loves it. We love the carne asada, pollo, and pescado tacos. The salsa they put on it is HOT. You can tell a good taco when they use the good corn tortillas, which this place does. I always get a side of Mexican rice to go with my tacos, which is *chef's kiss*. I'm gonna start off by saying the cashier was a little disrespectful laughing when we were ordering and they kept staring at my girlfriend creeping her out. We got a quesadilla with carnitas, calbeza taco, and a carne asada super burrito. The quesadilla was our favorite from last time and was one of the best quesadillas we've ever had, but this time is was good not great. The meat wasn't as flavorful. The taco and the plate it was in was loaded with juice and was spilling in the bag. It was good, but it was a damp taco. Now to the super burrito. I'm not a super taco aficionado or anything, but I know a good one when I get one. This is definitely not that. The carne asada literally had zero flavor, as if they just forgot to season the meat, and they overcooked it. I also got the guacamole and chips. I believe the chips came from Costco, and the guac was simply mashed up avocado with a few sprigs of cilantro...again zero seasoning or effort (and highly doubtful made there). An easy to find taco truck located on El Camino Real in San Bruno. They are usually parked on the Chili's side however depending on parking they sometimes move across the street. A popular location for the business park in the area, and definitely convenient when it comes to walking or parking. A little further away from the Bart Station and Tanforan mall by walking however for those that work within the vicinity or happen to be around with a car - it's pretty easy to reach. Peak hours are definitely the lunch hours start from about 12-1pm. They take card and cash. A taco (non seafood) is $2 per tacos, whereas shrimp or fish would be $2.50 per taco. You can order a side of guac or salsa for extra - however it costs about $2. The tortillas that they use are corn tortilla so definitely a great option if you are gluten free. I like to order 4 tacos - shrimp, fish, chicken, and steak. My least favorite is the fish- which is grilled. I much prefer fried fish tacos, however that is not an option at this location. Usually I'll pay about $8.50 for 4 tacos (1 of each - shrimp, fish, chicken, steak) and a side of guac. The guac is pretty good - however the size is pretty small. They're normally located in front of Chili's or across the street (at night) and since it's a taco truck, there is no seating. They have burritos, tacos, and quesadilla. For tacos, their toppings can be beef, shredded beef, tongue, shrimp, fish, or pork. I love their Al pastor tacos, and my bf loves their Carnitas tacos. I normally go for 4-5 tacos, and my bf goes for 3-4. The tacos are well seasoned and delicious! Still prefer Whipple's though. For those who aren't into spicy food, the al pastor has spicy salsa on it, so be warned... They also sell churros, but the one time I got it, it was cold .. so get it warm while you can! I don't know many taco trucks out there that sell seafood in their burritos and tacos but apparently Ruddy's does. They're usually parked near or in front of the San Bruno Chili's and very easy to spot. Had their Shrimp Burrito and Al Pastor Tacos. The tacos were really good with lot of meat and the Al Pastor was flavorul. I can't say the same for the Shrimp Burrito though, which was pretty bland and pretty watery. I think I'd skip ordering the burrito and order the shrimp in taco form instead.
