Very small inside. Garlic bagel was ok. Not alot of garlic on the top of the bagel and was given a thin layer of cream cheese

10 out of 10!! My sister and I were looking for a brunch spot in Rockland. Though we waited a hr,…read morebut it was all worth it! We devoured our food as it was so good! Feels like light on the stomach, being gluten free was also a plus!!! I had the famous Ricotta and Berry toast and my sister had the Grilled shrimp bowl we also ordered Buffalo Parm garlic wings which was to die for!! Their lattes are also amazing and flavorful. Our server, Maggie was very attentive. She sees to it that we get what we need. She makes us feel at home. Wish this place was bigger because a lot of people are willing to wait hours in line! We will definitely be back to try other food menu they have!!

I finally got to the Rail trail cafe & mercantile shop...it was not a disappointment. I ordered…read moretake out and the staff who answered told me there's a wait usually 30 - 45 mins....just for takeout?! At least she let me know. So be aware there is quite a wait if you done in or out. Other than that the menu has enough items to satisfy someone's appetite. The portions are Huge! Not only the generous serving, what was more important is the quality of the food. I rate it an A!. I've been her only once and my sandwich the Old Faithful was so good...crispy chicken cutlet on a long roll with tomato lettuce, may & oil/vinegar! I'm so happy they have a sandwich the way I like it dressed. I have mayo and oil & vinegar on all the sandwiches I order. The tator tots also rocked. Overall the quality of the food was good...fresh and the chef uses locally sourced ingredients. I also ordered an iced latte with marshmallow flavor. I tasted a hint of toasted marshmallow in my drink. So good. I will come back and try other items. They are open for breakfast & lunch only. Staff is friendly and courteous. You'll get treated well here. It's a small cafe, probably good for about 30 people. It's clean and charming. Highly recommended.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't drive 45 minutes to Nyack specifically to visit this cheese shop…read morebecause of a video I saw on social media, but I absolutely did & it was a great decision. Scott & Joe is coined "the gayest cheese shop in America" & while I haven't surveyed all of the other cheese shops in America, I agree. It's a quaint little shop tucked amongst other small shops on Broadway. Scott is behind the fully stocked cheese case serving & SERVING with a smile. He was patient while we perused the case & asked questions. We sampled some cheeses to figure out what we like & what we didn't & ended up leaving with some yummy treats. Scott & Joe also have a little bit of a marketplace with delicious options of cured meats, crackers, jams, jellies, mustards & the like: perfect for any dinner party or snack plate. In my opinion, the best part is a not so secret little bistro section in the back where you can have a seat & be served some of the most delicious sandwiches, salads, & cheeseboards in the Hudson Valley. I got the Ciao Bella this time around, but it was hard to choose because I wanted them all! Everything was so fresh & delicious - I can't wait to return! Scott & Joe also hold various events regularly, so I recommend following them on Instagram to stay in the loop.

Go here for lunch or an afternoon snack, you won't regret it! I like to treat myself with the "meet…read moreme in Nyack" cheese plate or one of their indulgent sandwiches and a glass of sparkling rose - or grab a to-go order for a picnic in the park down the road. The owners, plus their staff, are super knowledgeable and always ready with a new, unique suggestion to try. They also have funky and gourmet goods like pickled peaches or specialty spreads that make excellent gifts.
