6/7/26: I'd skip this place, except if you want to stop in for a beverage at the counter. We were up in Nyack, NY visiting the Edward Hopper house. After our visit, we decided to walk around town. There were a lot of restaurants open, but they mostly empty. The Breakfast & Burger Club seemed to be really busy. That being said, I figured it must be a good place to eat. We sat down at a table in the restaurant. The server came over with menus and water. We decided to share a Chicken Cobb Wrap along with a Root beer. The IBC Root beer was good. Anyway, it took a very long time for our order to come out. While we were waiting for the food, I noticed a strong smell of cooking oil. The server kept apologizing for the wait. The order finally came out. We were so starving at that point. The wrap tasted very dry, so unlike any Cobb salad. There was no avocado, no bacon etc... In addition, the fries were soggy and cold. I took a good look at the wrap and it had to be a Chicken Caesar wrap. My bf thought the same thing. There was no sense in sending it back, since we already ate some of it. We were charged for a Cobb salad wrap $17.45. However, the Caesar wrap was the same price, so we didn't bother saying anything. The male server and root beer were the restaurant's only highlights. This is my go to place when I'm in Nyack. I always have to stop by for something yummy. We went there early to do the Breakfast thing and I ordered an omelette with pancakes, and my friends got the grits skillet and eggs over easy with bacon. Everything was piping hot and delicious. A really great find in Rockland. We were in the area around 11am on a Sunday and our family of four was split whether they wanted breakfast or lunch... behold, the BREAKFAST & BURGER CLUB!! We were lucky and got seated quickly, but people behind us waited about 10 minutes for a table. It's a pretty small place, it feels tight, but not congested. The one issue I had is every time the door opened a cold breeze came in since we were seated near the front... not ideal in the fall/winter. If they had one of those boxed vestibules it would be nice... but probably some county/town code that prevents that. Back to the food... we ordered kids sliders, a burger sampler, and the Mexican omelette. Everything was delicious. The hot coffee also hit the spot on a brisk fall day. Our server was great. First time here, and since it was a beautiful morning, so we grabbed our sweatshirts and opted to sit outside. Found street parking right away, which was great. Phenomenal breakfast venue with anything you could think of and also some creative items. We stuck to traditional items, which included omelettes, french toast and a breakfast sandwich although I really want to come back and try some of their egg Benedict's. I came here for the first time today with some friends for breakfast. We were seated right away. We got there at 10 AM FYI. When we left almost an hour and a half later, we saw how busy it was getting and not sure if they take reservations. The menu was a bit extensive. Lots of options. We opted for a variety of breakfast items as you'll see in the photos. I did get the very very pancakes. The buttermilk pancakes were delicious, the syrup lacked a bit of flavor. I wasn't really getting a whole lot of maple. Friends enjoyed their meals that they got. Would recommend stopping in here. I would definitely go back to try their lunch items. Service was good. We were impressed with all the items We ordered, including the mushroom and Swiss burger, the excellent hot chicken French toast, and the biscuits and gravy (probably the most average dish but still ok). The place was busy but the service was still good, and the tables were fairly clean. Most diners have sticky tables and seats so this was a noticeable difference! Wow! This place has some menu! Went here for breakfast last weekend and was quite pleased with the food. Service was mediocre unfortunately. My cousin's food sat on the counter for over 5 minutes before our waiter brought it over. We'd already gotten our food. The food itself was delish. We got the chicken and waffles app which was tasty. A menu that's out of this world: not only is packed with a ton of options but there are some real photo worthy dishes here! I got to try the hashbrown burger (with all the trimmings), which replaces the bun with two crispy hashbrowns. What an experience! Other items we ordered included the chicken mac & cheese skillet (which was excellent), fried pickle burger, and a couple salads. Inside it's very cozy, much like a classic diner. Why hasn't this spot been on Diners Drive-ins and Dives yet? I love diners and go to many of them. Apparently many love this spot, as it was packed on a Main Street filled with alternatives. This menu was as long or likely longer than most. While they offer many of the ususal entrees, sides, beverages and desserts, this place takes it much further. Every section is peppered with house original takes on diner favorites and adds some of their own. While we ordered "typical" diner burgers and fries, they were expertly prepared. Noteworthy were the pancake tacos filled with your choice of breakfast meats and fresh fruit. The service was outstanding. Kid friendly and very busy place! Grabbed some breakfast and really enjoyed the Shrimp omelette! That was my favorite! I did have a hard time choosing because the menu is massive! But in the end we chose the perfect items to share! The banana French toast was also very tasty! Not overly sweet but sweet enough to not need syrup. Big portions so sharing was a breeze. Cute greasy spoon diner/restaurant in the busy downtown area. Inside definitely screams diner with the upholstered diner booths and counter service. We took advantage of the sunny summer afternoon and sat outside with our dog. There were plenty of other dogs walking about and a couple other tables with dogs. The umbrella situation could have been a bit better to keep the sun at bay and keep our dog cool. The server brought out a fresh bowl of water for our dog. Service was fast once we put our order in. We ordered the greek tater tots to start, which ended up being a little extra since our entrees both came with french fries. Tater tots were crispy and crunchy, everything you want in tots. The toppings were meh. You really could live with just getting plain tots or some sauce on top. The feta and tomatoes were small and tough to get in each bite. For entrees, we ordered the milano panini/grilled chicken sandwich and the al pastor wrap. Burrito had too much pineapple inside and was just mushy on the inside. We waiting about 10 minutes in line to get seated - as a customer we wanted to be seated at a booth because we ordered so much food but it took awhile to be moved to a booth. Finally we got coffee, nd ordered food. I got the lemon ricotta pancakes and Mexican skillet. My friend got the breakfast burger and regular pancakes as a side. My gluten free dreams are fulfilled in this place. Their cinnamon swirl pancakes are divine and they can make any toast-based items gluten free. I have had these pancakes at least 5 times in the last 3 weeks. I can't get enough! The service is fantastic when in restaurant but they also package the food very well for take out. The spot: Amazing little family owned spot I found on Yelp! I'm so glad I did. We were heading to Legoland and wanted to grab a bite to eat beforehand. This has a cute "diner" vibe to it, there's plenty of booths, tables, and bar seating inside. They also have a cute outdoor space for dining with umbrellas. It was a beautiful morning, so we sat outside. You can see the Hudson river from a distance. There's plenty of street parking and a parking lot just down the street. The bathrooms were a bit dirty at 9am, so that could have used a little more attention. The food: The menu is about 8 pages long, the variety of options is incredible and a bit overwhelming. There's literally something on the menu for any palate, even for the pickiest of eaters. From traditional breakfast, to creative flavors of pancakes, French toast, waffles, Benedict's, sandwiches, and burgers. This place has you covered. Here's what we ordered: California Benedict - bacon, avocado, tomato, poached eggs! It was a perfect combination. Since I'm gluten-free, I substituted my English muffins with hash brown patties. Hashbrowns were perfectly crunchy and really elevated this dish. Hash brown patties should always be an alternative for Benedict's, especially those that can't have bread. I loved the chipotle hollandaise sauce. I love a good benedict and this was so delicious! And the eggs were cooked to perfection. Since I love potatoes, I got the home fries which were fire. Perfectly cooked, soft, crispy, salty, and tasty. Greek Eggs Skillet - this was a daily special. Filled with greek flavors and loaded with home fries, feta, and sunny side up eggs. A very savory dish that was big enough to share if you're loading up on pancakes. Traditional Buttermilk Pancakes with an order of bacon - you can't go wrong with fluffy and sweet buttermilk pancakes. These were super delicious. S'mores pancakes - If you love s'mores and pancakes, then this dish is your jam. A stack of buttermilk pancakes topped with toasted giant marshmallows, pieces of melted chocolate, and dusted graham cracker crumbs. Overall, this place hit the spot. Everything we ate was amazing. As we got up to leave, my chums and I were completely uncertain about whether or not we'd just had an overall positive experience - that should give you some indication of how staggeringly uneven this was. We stopped in for lunch on Saturday after building up an appetite watching an awards ceremony for some costumed pooches nearby (if I could write a 5-star review of the 1st Annual Nyack Pet Costume Contest, I would). This was a recommendation from one of our local chums, who was a big fan of the cattle. It was a little after 1 so understandably the place was pretty busy when we got there. Despite a larger party of five people, we were seated immediately in the back. There's a lot to take in here, and a bit of a style over substance situation - the menu has a lot of gimmicky burgers and pancakes that are just begging for social media distribution (notably a donut burger that sounded like something I'd need at least a week to recover from if consumed). It was also two days before Halloween on a day when Nyack was clearly doing a great deal of their celebrations in that regard, so there were also a lot of life-size ghostly figures to walk by and around in the restaurant, notably a pretty intimidating motion-sensor werewolf (I think) by the bathroom that probably unnecessarily terrified some young pups and should have been put outside on the sidewalk. Regardless. After considerable hemming and hawing (the inevitable savory/sweet debate), I went with the Crabcake Benedict ($16.95) off of the literal Benedict section of the menu. Even for a diner, this menu is MASSIVE so if you're not totally sure what you're in the mood for, good luck. We also split a tater skins app at my insistence ($9.95). The Crabcake Benedict was very solid/tasty; no issues with the dish itself. I was more tepid on the skins, which in my opinion were overly fried and largely just crunchy/burnt edges - I could barely taste the potato itself, and the cheese was a little on the rubbery side. Not awful but I've definitely had better. The service was just not very good, unfortunately. I didn't get the impression that that was all on the waitress, who despite being very busy stopped by frequently enough during at least the first part of our visit and kept us in the loop on our pending dishes. But the Crabcake Benedict ended up coming out literally almost 10 minutes after everyone else's food. The waitress explained at one point that she was bringing out the food as it was ready, but that kind of time discrepancy is just too big - we all got the impression that they had forgotten to make mine based on the harried behavior of the staff and the piping hot dish that eventually arrived. Again, it was a busier time of day but the situation seemed to be more the result of disorganization than a backlog of other orders. I also made the mistake of impulsively ordering a slice of apple pie ala mode at the end. The pie itself was very good, and it was a huge portion, coupled with a gigantic scoop of French vanilla ice cream. There were some envious looks around the table. But when someone suggested we could get some additional spoons from the waitress, she didn't show up for another 10 or 15 minutes, at which point I'd consumed the entire slice. It's also possible that additional desserts would have been ordered in that time frame - it was a missed opportunity for the restaurant. The Nyack price points can be hit or miss, but I thought the cost for each dish was pretty reasonable for the area. When you start adding seafood to your entrees, you have to expect at least a slight price increase, but nothing here seemed crazy. That's especially noteworthy when you consider how many gimmicky establishments upsell on their Instagram-worthy items - not the case here. There are some unquestionable selling points. It's a diverse menu with decent food for the most part. But it's tough to provide a full-throated endorsement when the service isn't very reliable. I'd suggest at the very least coming at a quieter time of day. read more

We sat outside because weather was amazing however traffic along the main street is annoying. Loud music, revving engines and other noise that echoes. Food is decent quality and selection is as you would expect from a diner. We both had one of the many avocado toast options. Coffee was dark and strong which I love. Service was good but noticed the table next to us sat before us and didn't even have coffee when our food arrived. I would go back if needed but again not my first choice. read more

We stopped by here around 1ish on a Sunday and it was pretty full so we were offered counter seating with no wait. I started with an iced caramel macchiato and it was perfectly sweet and strong. For my meal I got a Mediterranean panini and a short stack of pancakes on the side. The panini was just ok, I wouldn't order it again. But the pancakes were amazing and canceled out any feelings I had about the panini. Also pro tip- instead of doing chicken and waffles, they let you order pancakes with a side of chicken and I would def recommend that option. There are 3 different meals that we all generally eat, but my personal favorite is that beautiful amalgam called "Brunch." This place is new to me but from the look of it has been in Nyack for some time. It is a total diner vibe which combines the big menu but everything on it could be classified as "Munchies" My friends and I ate inside (outside is available on the curb/street). We ordered Al Pastor fries that came with barbacoa. They lasted all of 5 minutes probably would have been quicker had it not been burning hot. The flavor was on point, the meat, veggies, the cheese. When it was time to order I went with a Breakfast Burger, blue Cobb Burger , fried chicken and waffles and Mac & Cheese waffle. We are a talkative bunch as we get together once a month to check in. Once the food hit the table it was silence and the food was being consumed by all. Price wise it is on point with Nyack. My only regret is si didn't order more haha.
