There were several open tables but it seems they take reservations or were allowing people to call-in to get on the list. We only ended up waiting 8 minutes which allowed us time to review the menu and decide what we wanted. Big wooden tables with comfortable wide chairs. Looked like a table sturdy enough for a bunch of Cowboys with chicken fried steak plates. Lol. They have a couple iced coffee drink specials. They even had a sign on the table for a special Valentines Dinner they're opening that evening for reservations only - $45/person. A few tables were getting a cinnamon roll to share as a starter. Looked yummy! We got HONEY BUTTER BISCUIT W/BREAKFAST POTATOES (8.99). Sooooooo good! Warm honey - we ordered our honey on the side instead of poured all over. 5/5 CHICKEN BISCUIT DELUXE (14.99) 5/5 One biscuit with cream gravy topped with fried chicken sprinkled with a little cheddar cheese topped with 2 eggs (your way) served with 2 strips bacon. It was really good and filling. Had nearly half leftover. Could have taken a nap after eating. Decaf coffee kept me warm on a cold morning. I want to go back to try their cinnamon roll, famous chicken fried steak, & other delicious sounding menu items! They had a tv scrolling pictures of their food which looked really good. Some parking spots in small private lot but plenty public parking right across the street. Friendly staff!

My dad got the cowboy without a pancake, which he also described as being good. Despite the large size of the group and the amount of food ordered it arrived swiftly bringing joy to the whole group. Our server was very polite, friendly, and social. Almost no mistakes were made in the order except them forgetting to bring the gravy to the table for someone's dish. The environment of the restaurant was very traditional western inspired with a 3d wooden sign of the restaurant's logo on the wall as well as the word howdy spelt and made with horse shoes being hung above the kitchen door. I would definitely recommend this location and will be coming back.

She led me back to the table with my friends and created some small talk on the way, so that was a nice change of pace, considering many people just point you on your way. We were seated near the back which seemed to be somewhat like an open kitchen feel, which I actually thought was pretty cool. Our waitress was very fast and helpful with picking out our foods based on our likes. Once the food came out, everyone seemed to really enjoy their meals, including myself. We started the table off with the biscuits and fried green tomatoes (demolished!). I kept it simple with the chicken and waffles (delicioius and crispy), which was a HUGE helping (yum!). Others at my table enjoyed the the shrimp and grits and WB chicken sandwich. No complaints heard from them! Overall, I really enjoyed the ambiance, the food, the service, and the experience I had for my first time there. Would come back again for dinner to see if there is a difference.

Butter and honey made it a good appetizer * The chicken tenders were crisp and juicy and I love to dip mine in gravy versus a sauce so this was perfect. * Thought the greens were flavorful and a nice side. *Chicken and waffle was a nice plate- same chicken tenders as above. *Nice cocktail list- as they have a full bar. What could have been better. *Booth seating for 6 was a little crowded but not a big issue. * Was a little pricey but considering the area and it was good, not a big deal.

Both were presented well, I will say that my trout was a little on the bland side but that could be because it was gluten free. Once pepper was added it enhanced the experience. We shared the Texas sheet cake with ice cream which was delicious. The wait staff was very engaging and gave this place a warm family feeling, so I will definitely come back. I would also compliment the wait staff of not giving that rush feeling some places have, which allowed us to relax and talk.

We walked in and was seated promptly. We had the blue cheese and almost stuffed shrimp to start which were delicious and came out like egg rolls. My husband had the surf and turf and said it was cooked to perfection. I had the lamb chops ask rarely see them on the menu in Texas and they were fantastic. We had the jalapeno apple cobbler I was worried it would be too spicy buy it had the right amount of spice. We each had a cocktail I had the key lime pie, and my husband had the whiskey sour both were very good! Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. I actually can't wait to come back and try something else on the menu.

My husband and I decided to split the Biscuit & Gravy Omelet, and it was the perfect choice. The omelet was stuffed with a biscuit and smothered in rich, flavorful sausage gravy--comfort food at its finest! The portion was huge and worked perfectly for sharing. We added a side of pancakes and hash browns, which completed the meal perfectly. The freshly squeezed orange juice was absolutely delicious and tasted incredibly fresh. A special shout-out to our server, Vanessa, who was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant also appeared to be very well staffed, which made for excellent service and a smooth dining experience, even on a busy Father's Day. Great food, generous portions, fresh ingredients, and wonderful service. We left happy, full, and already talking about coming back. Highly recommend!

The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a nice atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. I ordered a breakfast skillet, and it was good. The only thing I would say is that the hash browns and meat were cooked a little harder than I personally prefer. Other than that, everything was great. One thing I really appreciated was how quickly the food came out and nobody likes waiting forever when they're hungry! My friend ordered pancakes along with another breakfast item, and she enjoyed her meal as well. Overall, it was a nice brunch spot with great service, good food, and a comfortable atmosphere. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth checking out.
