We came to eat here from church. There was a big group of 15 in our party. The service was excellent and the food was great! I ordered the Denver omelette I substituted the bell pepper for spinach and my husband had the chilaquiles! They have a wonderful salsa that they serve with the chilaquiles. My son ordered an omelette and asked for a side of the salsa and they also asked me if I would like some. Well of course I did! It was one of the best salsas I've ever had. All of our food came out about the same time piping hot and yummy! Everyone in our party asked for separate checks. I couldn't believe it but the servers did not add the tip to our bill!!!! Great little cafe that was nearby the Aloft hotel I stayed at in Westlake on a trip to wonderful, GREATEST STATE OF THE WORLD, TEXAS. I had business across the street at Fidelity and Aloft had nothing but overpriced trash breakfast offerings. So we came here instead. Brewed Coffee was really good. I drank a good bit of it. They did not have cold brew, only iced regular coffee. Boo. Hiss. Partner had an iced Latte and seemed to enjoyed it enough to get one to go. I am not normally a breakfast eater, but the unknown meetings ahead made me get some food before we worked. I loved the mash up of the menu between classic breakfast items like omelettes, waffles, pancakes, bacon, eggs, you know, the normal stuff for honkeys. But.... They also have some very nice TexMex/Latino options as well. Tacos, Huevos Rancheros, Chiliquiles, Migas, and many other stars shine on this menu. We enjoyed our breakfast and were impressed with the food and the service. I had the country breakfast. Sausage gravy was excellent! Eggs over medium, cooked correctly and the hash browns were perfectly browned. Hubs enjoyed the Eggs Benedict, which was quite good! He ordered the Hollandaise on the side which we recommend to ALWAYS do when ordering this dish. The Canadian Bacon was ever so slightly sweet. We prefer more of a smoky taste, but never give a lower rating for taste preferences. Lower ratings should be for service or quality of food, not variations in the flavors, because you have the opportunity to ask questions before ordering. His poached eggs needed to be drained a bit more, but cooked perfectly. He ordered the fruit on the side and it was all very fresh, ripe, and delicious. The service was top notch, very quick and friendly, and the coffee was excellent. The ambience was very nice and everything, including the condiments was spotless. Had a lovely breakfast with my husband and really enjoyed most of the food. We both just got the classic breakfast. We had a choice of several different meats, I went with the turkey sausage sadly It had no flavor. It also included two eggs which I got scrambled and they were good, and a choice of bread. For my bread I got the pancakes and they were very good. It was a very nice portion size at a very good price. We lost the Starwood Cafe that was near us in Flower Mound. This Trophy Club location seems newer and nicer than I'd remembered, which was nice. Service was prompt and friendly. Ordered the standard American breakfast and choose the "pancake" instead of toast. Happy surprise when the food arrived with a stack of 3 pancakes. Three pancakes is better than one pancake every time. $13 for the order which isn't bad these days. This is definitely going to be our meeting spot for biker breakfasts in the future. read more

They have variety of breakfast options but their All American breakfast is my favorite and you can even get a small stack of pancakes on the side with it instead of toast. It was crowded on a Saturday morning as you would expect but we got seats right away and the service was still good even though they were busy. read more

My husband and I came here on a Sunday for my birthday brunch. The service was great, our server was a nice young man who was doing remarkably well for how busy the place was. It was quite crowded and the atmosphere was pretty loud and boisterous. Our coffees were good. The very berry crepes were moist, topped with fresh fruit, and tasted great. I had to take of one star though, because the eggs benedict wasn't very good. The hollandaise sauce tasted generic, and the poached eggs were overcooked and not runny. The majority of the staff was new today, the menu had changed, the food was terrible The service sucked. The place was always packed on the weekends and folks waiting out the door on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. there was a ton of empty tables and nobody waiting. read more

We've eaten here many times. Typically little to no wait for a table for breakfast. Most recently, I met friends for breakfast right when they opened, and they were ready to go with good, hot coffee served in those terrific, heavy diner mugs! Service was terrific! Prompt and attentive without being intrusive. And when one of my friends got a little cute, she was happy to dish it right back, making our encounter with her fun. Now for the food! When it comes to pancakes, I'm a buttermilk pancake person. But I tried the pumpkin pancakes, and they were good - worth the try! Eggs, bacon, hash browns, all came out perfectly and to order! I've previously had their Iron man egg white omelette, which is also very good. So why the 4 stars? Well, like I said, I've been here many times. My experiences with service have all been favorable. But I think the kitchen sometimes gets a little overwhelmed when this place is busy. It's been those times when my food hasn't been 100% right on the mark. I love Starwood! I have eaten at both the Trophy Club and the Denton locations, and have ordered food to go from Trophy Club on a number of occasions. Starwood is the first place I tried avocado toast and is now the baseline on which I rate all avocado toast! It isn't simply avocado smashed on a slice of bread and it isn't avocado toast trying to be a salad with it covered in greens. It is avocado with EVOO, lemon sea salt and cilantro on a wonderfully grainy wheatberry bread. It is served with egg whites (I sub whole eggs) and fresh fruit. It definitely ranks up there with my favorites! I have also had the Very Berry Crepes, which I also love and have ordered on multiple occasions - even for lunch at times! One thing I don't understand is that the TC location has marscapone included and it is not available at the Denton location, yet their menus appear to be almost identical. Same dish, slightly different ingredients. ‍ Today I went with the biscuits and gravy. They have a sausage gravy, which I'm not normally thrilled about but I tried it today. It was good, and didn't have a strong sausage flavor (they do also have cream gravy if sausage is not your thing). It is served with hash browns. For some reason neither the biscuits and gravy nor the hash browns were very flavorful so I had to doctor them up with salt and pepper. Thinking back on it , there was both Tabasco and Cholula on the table. I should have tried one of those. I don't think that one thing in my many visits equates to dropping my rating by a star. There's was one thing that bothered me today (but maybe I am just getting old!), and that was one of the teens at the front counter/register was wearing a "belly shirt" that exposed a good 3-5 inches of her tummy - not only if she stretched or bent over, but at all times. I did not find it appropriate, but again, I may be getting old and crotchety! Definitely give Starwood a try. I don't think you will regret it! read more
