    Lobster Roll

You CANNOT go wrong with Ruffage. The food, service, atmosphere...all of it is fantastic. I had the lunch special today. The lobster roll. Amazing! If you are a local or from out of town, do yourself a favor and give it a try. They also have a "Benny of the Week" which means it's a new take on the traditional eggs Benedict. Always so creative. The ingredients are so fresh.

Finally tried out this restaurant. Located right off busy HWY 76 between Pendleton and Anderson. Seats about 50 People. Homey atmosphere. Very friendly staff-you feel welcome when you walk in the door. The menu is on a chalkboard on the wall. Once you order and pay you seat yourself. When the order is ready it is brought to your table. There is an area where you can get plastic silverware, napkins, coffee, creamer, hot sauce, etc. There are even take home containers if needed. The hubby ordered the Frittata with bread + jam. It is made with fresh ingredients and it was evident. I had a sample-it was delicious. I had the smoked salmon everything bagel with hot tea. It was good. I look forward to trying this restaurant again. There are several items on the breakfast and lunch menus that I need to test out. ;-) As of this week they have a dinner menu...a tasting menu that is suppose to be shared. Already have a reservation for that.

Food was fantastic! I had shrimp and grits. They have gluten free bread! Shrimp tasted so fresh. M.y sister had the rueben. Outstanding!

I visited ruffage today for the first time! The menu was intimidating so I decided to adventure out & try something new. The staff was so understand when they realized it wasn't my favorite, they were so quick to make me something new to make sure I left happy. I ended up with the Cuban and it was AMAZING, the collards were the perfect southern touch. My sister got breakfast and I had to stop her from inhaling it to snap a picture! I also snagged a lemon cake pop that was so much better than all the others I've tried. 10/10 experience

Had 3 different sandwiches for lunch. Everyone was fantastic! The Vietnamese sandwich with tuna is terrific.

Talk about old school. This was an interesting discovery. There are several buildings including a…read moreFarmers market so I wasn't sure where the restaurant was. I went in the Farmer's Market first. It looks like an old barn. There were lots and lots of homemade choices- "canned" soup bases, fruits, vegetables, salsas, jams, flavored oils to name a few. There were also fresh fruits, nuts, honey, vegetables, dairy products and cakes. There are four areas you can eat. The main "restaurant" is small with only a few tables. Evidently it's a favorite of older local gentlemen to gather for an early breakfast. There is also the "Pig Sty," "The Chicken Coop" and the farmer's market area. Some of these can be cold in the winter and warm in the summer so dress accordingly. The farmer's market area is heated by a wood stove. The staff here are so friendly. It felt like we were visiting family. The food was good ole country food. The hubby and I each ordered the breakfast plate. I had coffee with my choice of several flavored creamers. If you pay in cash you get a discount. If you are in the area you should check it out. You can order from the breakfast or lunch menu. Plan to stay a few extra minutes and look around and support local farmers. We brought home some boiled peanuts. Fun experience and good breakfast.
