We've had Hell's Kitchen several times from different locations here in town. Always good flavor but I'm not sure if Id call it New York style as the pizza is usually lifeless and has no crisp or crunch. It's usually soggy and floppy. I hate to knock a local place, but this pizza was awful, and at 27.00 a complete robbery of the customers. The pizza, even if it were not borderline burnt, clearly had low quality ingredients and tasted only of cheap garlic salt. The 18" grandma pie is more expensive than their 18" NY style, yet it's smaller and had the same crust thickness. I ordered during peak hours on a weekend where pizza places are typically on their A game so I can't imagine how rough a pizza is coming out during off peak hours. I don't know how they can operate multiple locations when the product is this bad. If it were a cheap pizza then an argument could be made for the poor quality but a place like Slice 420, that's exponentially better and the gold standard in the Springs, still has lower prices. Last night my boyfriend suggested we order Borriellos, and I had to inform him that our favorite local pizza joint had shut down just two days before. So, I looked into Hells. I had previously only had Hells when I felt like stopping for lunch in Manitou, and didn't know they could deliver. And Learned that they now serve a gluten free pie, which is great for my personal health. We ordered a gluten free pie with 2 topping on each half, and it was just large enough for us both to share. The crust was very good! Better than most frozen crusts i've tried. The delivery even showed up 20 minutes before the eta. It cost $30 to delivery the 12 inch pie with reasonable tip, but that was on par with borriellos and the cost of gluten free food. I guess Hells will be out new go to, and i'm glad I can still get a decent New York Style pizza out here. read more

Incredibly good pizza. Many people have different tastes and preference for pizza. For me it's starts with great crust and flavourful sauce; these guys nailed both. From there the topping should be fresh and plentiful. We had a supreme pizza; loaded with yummy fresh veg and excellent meats. We absolutely raved over the flavour. Garlic bites were nice and chewy! I lowered my rating from five stars to four in this update. The food is still great and the people working are extremely friendly. There are fewer people working in the store most days so the service is really slow, despite the employees working hard and fast. The sizes seem smaller as well. I don't stop here nearly as often anymore because of the slow service. This seems like a classic example of a managerial approach of trying to maximize profit at the expense of quality service. I've watched so many businesses close after implementing such practices. I don't know why things are changing, buut they are losing some of my business. Made an order through GrubHub tonight, said it was going to be delivered an hour and a half after I placed the order, was supposed to be delivered at my house between 9:10 and 9:20 PM tonight and it never showed up, I proceeded to call the restaurant and the first lady told me "oh that orders already on the way", waited another 15 minutes called again and then was told "oh your orders still here at the store it went out but it came back" so that means my food was now cold I proceeded to tell them to put the money back on my card they said I had to contact GrubHub, GrubHub states that I needed to contact them, and when telling the manager on the phone about this she proceeds to hang up on me because she didn't like what I was saying. I really enjoy this place! It's not the best pizza in the world but it is good. A slice with 3 knots which is one of their deals is enough for me to keep my tummy satisfied. At times the knots are a bit hard but that is rare that they come that way. Flavor is good and friendly staff. read more

The only place where I can say without a doubt I will never tire or their white pizza. Man, it's that good. Get two slices and go for their eponymous Hell's Kitchen slice. Just the right amount of heat and the sausage is crumbly Italian greatness. The knots are pretty good too, but they don't reheat/keep as well as simple ol' pizza. So eat them fresh in the restaurant. This is one of my top pizza picks in town. The Manitou location is where I usually go but tried the Cheyenne Mountain location since it was on the way. The Pizza was equally delicious but the staff was a bit disinterested and rude. They acted like they did not want to be there. I left a tip with the singles I had, not knowing the machine had an option to leave a tip. The counter guy looked in the tip jar to see what I put in and then had attitude. When I travel for work I like to take in different foods from restaurants that are not franchised out; this may have been a mistake. Man, this food arrived ice cold and tasted bad! I must have been last on the delivery list. All three of the pizza slices were dry and felt like cardboard. I was really hoping for a better result with the knots...nope, dry and cold just like everything else. Finally I tried to move to my favorite part, the dessert. I understand people write reviews when they feel strongly about a place...however, I've had the pleasure of the delicious pizza. Unfortunately, their planning ahead is lacking severely. We called at 3:30pm for a 6:15pm delivery and it is now 7:15pm and we've called twice. Not only did we not get the four pizzas that were ordered I was hung up on when calling to check on the delivery. Pretty good food, not very organized. IS THIS PLACE SANITARY? friendly staff, food came out one thing at a time which could have been better timed. You can watch the staff make your food. Downside to that.. you watch them making food without washing their hands. My family and i sat inside for a good hour and i did not see anyone wash their hands the entire hour. They are also wearing personal jackets unzipped that look unsanitary while making food (dangling outside germs over food). I dislike this place immensely. It's all marketing and no substance. Hipsterism at its worst. So, it's a New York Style pizza place, and that's a category of thing the owners of this place must think can be elevated into something high-end sounding without that actually being true. Ultimately, pizza is flour, sauce, cheese, veggies, and/or mystery meats. I went in there the other day and ordered a cheese slice and another topped sliced and spent like $9--no drink--and the pizza was stale and flavorless. I do think that a simple slice of cheese pizza can be a fantastic thing. For that, there are two requirements: 1) That it be cheap, and 2) that it be good. Neither is true at this place.
