Slice 420 started with one family's desire for their daughter to have access to medical treatment she couldn't get in Florida so Colorado was lucky enough to gain their culinary magic. I have had Slice 420 before and have always loved their mission and culinary passion. Their pizza offerings are incredible-white sauce, ricotta, chicken, marinara, hot honey, if you can imagine it on a pizza, they have it. But if you venture off the pizza path, that is where magic lies. Tonight I got the rigatoni and meatballs and my husband got the colossal chicken parm. Both came with fresh rolls. The portions were massive, but we both got full portions because leftover pasta is the best part. The rigatoni was cooked perfectly al dente. The marinara was perfect-Nona would be proud! Absolute beautiful marriage of flavors-slight spice, oregano, basil, each bite was perfection. The meatballs were tender, flavorful and despite the sauce having a huge punch of flavor, neither overpowered the other, you could taste the intended balance in each bite. My husband's chicken parm came with the rigatoni but the chicken parm was a whole other level of flavor-delicate breading that didn't weigh down the flavor of the chicken or overpower the dish itself. A friend of mine who's a big name in the Pizza Game heard I was coming to the Springs for work he said I HAD to come here to get Pizza. I asked in the door and the place was slammed, I got a welcome in and we'll be with you as soon as possible. I nodded and checked out the slices and the menu but it was less than a couple of minutes before my order was taken. I ordered a slice of the Mountain Man and a beer. Less than 5 minutes later I was noshing on a steamy slice of Za and it was great. Crispy enough it didn't collapse but soft enough that it had a great chew. I wasn't ignored after being served and had a couple different people check on me. Overall great service and great pizza. Definitely a place to go if you're nearby. read more

this is the second time that I ordered ahead of time online so that I can avoid the long wait times at the location, so I ordered at 2pm for a 5pm pickup.. arrived and yup you guessed it... still waited 30 min at the location. I would not do a negative review over just that, BUT brooooo they gave me the coldest 2 pizzas! seems like they made them at 2pm and left them there till 5pm! Personally, this is my favorite pizza in Colorado Springs. No contest. The slices are massive, so one usually is the perfect bite for me. They do the classics (pepperoni, margarita, etc.) so well, but recently I tried their spicy pickle slice and LOVED it. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. You can tell that the team takes pride in what they serve, so the experience of eating here is great! Highly recommend. When I first started going there I would get a slice or two of the Tribeca. This pizza is named after a neighborhood in NYC, and it was a good NY style, thin crust pizza. Then, for dome reason they started making it on a very thick crust, which I believe is called Sicilian style, which makes it more bread than toppings. Every time I go in, it is always that thick crust, and I don't want to order an entire pizza just to get a good NY style thin crust, as I'm coming in for a slice. It must be popular, but it isn't my thing. Very disappointing, and I have now stopped going since they no longer have my fave. read more

I can't lie but what I got was mid af. i got the garden, mountain man, and something along the lines of the works. We also got a salad which by the way was one of the worst salads I've ever had. It had HUGE pieces of bacon, ham and tons of olives which made the whole salad soggy and super salty. Kind of defeats the purpose of getting a salad. I think they also forgot about the salad because it took about 20 minutes after we finished eating the pizza. I did enjoy the crust of the pizza although some parts were burnt. Lastly, I think the total for 3 slices of pizza, a beer and a salad was about 50. I think it's cheaper/more cost effective to buy a whole pizza IF you were even going to eat here. Slice 420 offers very good pizza for a very premium price. If you can get a deal it is worth it. We ordered an 18" Tribeca and the deal came with a 16" cheese pizza. The Tribeca comes with 3 different kinds of pepperoni which all have very different tastes and are very high quality toppings. The cheese blend as well as the basil adds a nice strong rich and fresh flavor. The cheese is a nice blend that gets a nice char on it. The crust is thin, but still able to support up the pizza. The crust edge is a bit too chewy but has a slight amount of char that isn't overwhelming. We also had the Bomberz which are garlic knots with cheese on top. The knots are very doughy with a soft inside. The outside isn't very hard and would say it's soft all throughout. They are good but not spectacular. I think this is a very solid pizza that I would recommend, but $43 for an 18" pizza is a little steep, so I'd recommend getting only when there's a deal. read more

Immediately greeted by two with-it women-employees! We met friends for Sat. lunch, shared wings, a roll and each had a slice of gourmet pizza, tons of choices! My "Works" slice was a huge slice (10-11" across the crust) of thin crusted delicious pepperoni slice of Heaven! The wings were lathered in their 420 Sauce, I've been told it is mix of their other homemade sauces, there was a hint of bbq sauce but many other things including buffalo wing sauce, tiny zip. Wonderful wings! The little restaurant holds 10-12 two/four and six tops. We tried their pizza for the first time. First of all the pricing was hard to see or read. Some didn't even have prices. Without seeing the prices clearly we ordered and couldn't believe how much each slice is. Way expensive. Then I ordered a half salad and that was $13! Are you kidding me? I declined the salad. The cannolis were okay. Nothing special. The pizza was okay. We probably won't be going here again. Pie hole in Denver is almost the same and their prices are way lower. We were kinda disappointed. Great pizza for a great cause! I really like this restaurant's mission and story. They offer a wide selection of pizza slices or you can order whole pizzas. They also have sides and other dishes if you're wanting something other than pizza. I tried the vegan slice and really appreciated that they had a vegan option. I especially liked that they omitted cheese altogether because vegan cheese is really hit and miss. The slices are HUGE! The vegan one was loaded with veggies and a delicious marinara. I definitely prefer a thicker crust, so this pizza isn't my favorite since it's very very thin, but the flavor was great. There is indoor and outdoor seating and the restaurant was very clean. My best friend and I stopped by yesterday afternoon 8/18. I'm visiting from SoCal and my best friend took me to Old Colorado City to look for a pin! She wanted to stop by this place SO bad and we are so glad we did! It was busy, all the staff were super friendly, especially John! It seemed like such a fun and friendly place. When I think of Colorado Springs, I think of Slice 420. I'm from the north east and miss it greatly but this pizza brings me home. You'll get the authentic, thin but crispy NY slice and ALSO some of the most delicious creative pizza slices I've ever had. I mean, pickle pizza??? HECK YEAH! I ordered off of delivery since I was at work but I 100% enjoy their pizzas. The crust is crunchy with the nice and refreshing tomato sauce. I order one with multiple toppings usually spicy and they do not disappoint. The food service quality is amazing for delivery at least in my experience. I've been here numerous times with my family and I'm disappointed in myself that I haven't reviewed it yet. They have their own private parking lot which can get filled up but people come and go fairly quickly. Every time we come here, we are greeted and everyone is friendly. They offer dine-in and pick-up so there's two separate lines. I always get the Sophia, one of their specialty pizzas. The price is reasonable for the size of it. My littles are very basic and just get their cheese or pepperoni but the size of it is huge, so they get full pretty fast. They have a lot of different options. It may be limited if you come close to closing but you'll be satisfied with anything you get there. I love what this restaurant stands for and who they support. We love giving back and know it's going to a good cause. We'll definitely be back when my little ones (or myself) is craving for pizza. I wish I could give them an extra star for their pumpkin cheesecake. It was a seasonal dessert but man, it was so good and filling. Can't wait to see what they come up with next. read more

Oh 420 how I wanted to fall in love with you, but man did you let us down. Cons: - pizza was ice cold when it FINALLY got delivered. This hangry pregnant lady was not happy - the garlic knots tasted like propane or some sort of gas from a grill - the margarita pizza itself was pretty dry and not very saucy - the white pizza was just simply too much cheese.
