Ace discovered that the prior roofer(2017) had failed to seal a gap between the shingles and the edge of the chimney. The roof that was replaced was two layers, and when it was replaced with one layer, that left an inch or so gap between the shingles and and chimney, which they failed to seal and also failed to install proper flashing so that water would drain away from the chimney. Ace repaired the issue and their price was very reasonable. Recently, I noticed paint cracking and dampness in a ceiling. I called the company that installed the roof-as it is nearing the end of the warranty. They sent someone who said he saw nothing wrong, and claimed they might need better ventilation. He said someone would call. No one did. I called Ace, he went up and saw the source of the problem, a bullet hole-likely there from someone's errant New Year's celebration. He fixed the issue within 15 minutes. Ace is responsive, and most important, he acts with integrity and his assessments are credible. Irrespective of 'warranties,' I trust him and will always call him first.

The 18th was a monday, my first day. I didn't meet Ryan (the owner) until my third day. He was very stand offish. He wouldn't shake my hand or make eye contact with me. The very first act of business I heard from ryan was about a gentleman that was unpleased with Ryan's work. I set up a time for ryan to go out for an estimate, the man said 1:00 sharp because ryan never showed up the first time he had an appointment and he didn't want to wait all day for him. To that, ryan says, "well then I won't show up this time either. He doesn't run this place, I do. I don't care what you've heard before, the customer is never right." The same day, he let a lady in the call center go after two days working for him over gossip that someone totally made up. He fired her without looking into it or asking her about it at all. I understand that it is an "at will" company but it was absolutely untrue information that was given to him. The lady had gotten a lead for him on her very first day and seemed to really like her job, given the fact that he hadn't even had desks for them to sit at. They were sitting on the floor and didn't even have a/c in the building. She was an older lady and trying very hard to impress him and make it in the job. My complaint is that I did everything I could, everything I was taught to do and everything that was asked of me. Even some things that weren't asked of me to do. On that Friday, my fifth day I went into work and was told by the office manager of the call center, (not my manager) that Ryan didn't want me to come back, I was confused as to why but once again, it is an at will company. She asked me if my address they had on file was correct because they would send my paycheck to me. I told her yes and went on about my day, three weeks later I still hadn't received my check! I texted the receptionist, Jodie, from the bowling green office. She said it would be cut on that Friday and I would receive it the next week. I still haven't received it. I've called and left messages with Sarah (another receptionist) every time I would call. She would ask who was calling and when I would tell her who I was she would say Jodie and Ryan were out of the office. This happened at least five times. I contacted the department of labor, my representative, Mr. Duffy tried to contact them and they told him the same. Ryan was unreachable. He then called me back and told me that I have to take it to small claims court. Its only four days of pay, but I want ryan to know that he can't keep getting away with this. He is not a good person and has no idea how to run a professional business. Not only me, but the lady mentioned above never got paid as well. And if he thinks he can get away with this he will just keep doing it. I not only want what he owes me, but also to stop this from happening again.

I was impressed with how Bone Dry presented themselves and just had a good feeling about calling them. They setup an appointment with a salesman Gordon Rodgers and he was very nice and helpful with determining what the house needed and what we wanted to be done. Price was reasonable and we received discounts depending on certain things which helped. Scheduling was easy. The day before the roofing crew came out I was given a courtesy call who to expect and supervisors name . The next day the crew came out and began working at once to make sure things would be covered for safety to the landscape and windows. Program director appeared to make sure the crew was on schedule and helped out with getting things hauled away from clearing the roof. Supervisor came to help with directing the actual install of the roof and later the chimney flashing. When all was finished , the crew did an exceptional cleanup up of the surroundings . Appreciated their bosses came out to check on how things were coming along and if I had any questions. Liked the fact that pictures of each step of the process were forwarded to me until they were done. Work was done nicely and very satisfied. . Nearly half of the windows installed are unsatisfactory -- several won't open, some have poor seals, and multiple screens arrived ripped or damaged. The door installation was also done incorrectly. The door does not lock properly, and the doorknob was installed noticeably crooked, which is both frustrating and concerning from a workmanship standpoint. Communication throughout this process has been poor. Despite raising these issues, it has now been over a month and the problems with the windows still have not been properly resolved. We also used this company for siding, and that portion of the project went much better, which makes this experience even more frustrating due to the inconsistency in quality. Unfortunately, based on our experience with the windows and door, we would not choose this company again and wish we had gone with a different provider.

They developed a plan that not only addressed the existing issues, but also caught some wind damage that hadn't yet made itself known to us.
