We got our kitchen granite through DE, so when we were in there, we talked to Sam, then Abdul. Both said they could help us. Sam went on vacation a short time later, and we dealt with Abdul the rest of the time. Abdul walked us through the whole re-do. They did it in an amazing timeframe. I really like that fact that they have sub-contractors that they can call and have them at my house in less than 2 hours - usually within 1/2 hour - 45 minutes. The results are magnificent! Abdul showed up virtually every day to check on the project and make sure we were happy. I will always call Abdul first when I need work done!!

From the beginning Matthew and the whole DE flooring staff were friendly and helpful, with lots of recommendations. They sent me a handful of slab yard recommendations and it took us going to three to find exactly what we were looking for. They worked with us on pricing, edging for the stone, recommendations for sinks (which we bought online), and were flexible on timing. They also organized getting the plumber to install the new sinks, and have subcontractors for anything you'd possibly need for a renovation. I would use DE flooring again on future jobs, and we've been really pleased with the quality of their work.

If you have ever shopped around for flooring of any kind, you know how expensive it is. We found Bob Wilson of Wilson flooring to be extremely knowledgeable about all types of flooring. We recently purchased flooring from him for our home. If you are shopping for wood, you know how expensive it can be. Many places with big signs and fancy names with ads on TV will take full advantage of you. We found other places to be twice as much as we paid with Wilson flooring. If you are shopping for flooring in Houston, you owe it to yourself to call Bob. His warehouse is located approximately one mile east of the Gulf Freeway on Fuqua. You will have a tough time find ing better pricing for your flooring needs. Now, lets talk about installation. You can buy all the flooring you need and do it yourself or hire your own installers. We used his preferred installers and I am thankful we did. His preferred installers came to our home and did a masterful job of installing the engineered hardwood we had purchased. The installers used the absolute minimum number of transitions between the types of flooring (e.g. when transitioning from wood to carpet or tile). Also, even though they installed the wood through a doorway, around an island in the kitchen and joined it back together in the dining area/living area, they did not use a transition. This is a sign of an installer that knows what they are doing. Wilson flooring has multiple preferred installers depending upon the type of flooring you are purchasing. We purchased engineered hardwood but he also has vinyl flooring, various types of tile, and carpeting. If you are looking for new floors, you owe it to yourself to at least talk to Wilson Flooring before making a decision. We are extremely happy we did. I came in the store and asked for a quote for laminate flooring in 3 bedrooms. I picked out a flooring type and the lady said she would send me a quote. She sent me a quote for just a total of $5250.00 with no details. Just a texted total! I said can you send me a formal quote with type of flooring picked out, model, square footage included, trim needed and lead time to get started. I received a email with the body of the email typed out with the square footage and name brand of the flooring. No breakout or itemized quote just a total once again. I called the store and spoke with the owner and he said if "If I wanted to do business with them that I would come in person and they would "verbally" tell me everything but couldn't give a formal quote". This place is sketchy at best. Steer clear!
