They actually have some nice clothes…read morebut if you are thinking of shopping here - DO NOT work with Hunter (tall guy, dark hair, beard, & glasses). I purchased a new suit for an upcoming wedding. When I picked the suit up it had 2 chalk marks on the sleeve. I pointed it out and Hunter said he would steam it out. He returned with the suit in a garment bag. When I got home I took it out and there were now 2 black marks where the chalk marks used to be. I returned to the store the next day and showed it to Hunter and he said it would come out once it was drycleaned. Honestly, I was shocked he didn't offer to have it dry cleaned. I just spent $1000 on a suit, shirt, tie, etc and he told me I would need to take it to get it dry cleaned. So before I wear the brand new suit I just purchased from you, that you marked up, I have to pay to have it dry cleaned? He said "yes". I asked to speak to the manager and fortunately the manager had enough customer service acumen to do the right thing and save some future business. So, avoid Hunter at all cost - ask for Ben instead. (I originally worked with Ben but when I returned for the fitting Ben was on vacation and due to the timing of the wedding I coudn't wait for him to return - unfortunate for me). P.S. After the shirt I purchased was tailored one sleeve was longer than the other. I get it - those things happen - but Hunter seemed absolutely lost when it came time to measure the sleeve to be adjusted and stuck a pin in the cuff of the shirt multiple times before he even acknowledged he probably shouldn't be doing that.

One of the owners ended up helping us out and he was fantastic. Great customer service--not pushy, but they definitely know what they're talking about and are very helpful. They also provide free tailoring when you purchase any of their suits. Although I do not wear men's suits myself, I'd highly recommend this business to anyone who is in need of a new suit or men's dress wear. They also sold a selection of shoes and more casual items, so it's worth stopping in regardless of what you're looking for. Be sure to support this great local business!

We don't often pop in but decided to stop by while walking up and down Franklin Street. I had bought a pair of (expensive) socks from them years ago, and on a whim I bought a similar pair. I considered it a Christmas present to myself. The fashion and offerings are colorful and of good taste. But Ted made my exchange and sneaker selection easy. He was helpful and didn't act like he wanted to be anywhere else but at work. That's generally the energy you get from people at that store. The gift giver said she'd gotten them done at Cotton Creek! I knew I had to stop by the next time I was in the neighborhood. I have since been in twice within the past month. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The assortment of shirts is so fun! I believe they design in-house and their options are a little more classic/preppy than, say, Runaway (which I also like, but Cotton Creek is more my style). I got a sweet light blue, long-sleeved t-shirt that says Land of the Pines, and has a beautiful illustration on it. My sister got a fun shirt that says "Durham Women Take No Bull" and she loved it so much that she wore it out of the store- and proceeded to get compliment after compliment on it all afternoon! They should have sponsored us because we were telling everyone to go to Cotton Creek on Ninth to get one of their own! :) They also have hats, hoodies, key fobs, leggings, and probably a lot of other stuff that I'm forgetting about. After the 10 days of not receiving it, I reached out and found out they had not started the order. I told them to cancel it. They did not respond. Well over a week later, they told me they were finally sending it, which I told them again to cancel the order and told them I would be returning the item. They ignored it and sent it to me. I then went online to return the item and some how, even after receiving multiple emails and a shirt, I no longer had an account with them. I sent a complaint, and they said they would respond within 24 hours. It has been a week. They are horribly run and people should avoid them for concerns if there is an issue with the order.
