I love this place I never came here until I was introduced to it and Chasity is my main reason I come here she has a mango mix and strawberry mix and makes the best margaritas ever and Mandy is the best as well my experience has been amazing because of them both! 5-Star Dive Bar. It's everything you would expect from a dive bar. Great bartenders, full bar, talkative locals, good music on the jukebox, pool table (takes dollar bills and change, $1/game), several TVs, and clean restrooms. Went to this bar the beginning of the month had the worst experience ever bartender wouldn't wait on my husband she was serving everyone but him a person next to my husband said wow she really isn't serving you and said let me try to order some drinks for you and see if she serves me sure enough the bartender served him I couldn't believe it we told our friends about it then some girl told some guys to remove my husband from the bar because she didn't like that my husband voiced his opinion on how he felt the bartender was maybe prejudice it was all bad the guys started ganging up like they were going to start something with my husband so we left because we didn't want problems were not the fighting type we just like to have fun anyways we will not be back here and we do not recommend this place I felt like they have regulars and they don't like new faces ughhhh terrible read more

This place is so cool. My friend told me she hadn't ever been out to a bar so I suggested we go to Rumors since I go there on occasion and know it's a fun place. I live right down the street so my friend and I spent New Years Eve there from 8pm til about 1am. The bartender was very professional. It was busy but she kept up with the crowd. She supplied free champagne for the midnight toast; She had quite a few glasses pre-poured and announced that she had them on the bar for free for everyone interested, so everybody had a drink in hand at midnight! There was also karaoke going on and the KJ was great! He kept it all organized and flowing. We had a great time and I know I'll be back. I always bump into friends there! read more

If you live in the area, or frequent here as much as I do (I got family out here), this might be one of those places you'll make into a local pit stop. We do go when it town. The bartenders are always friendly and attentive. The people that go there are of all ages, however if you go on Friday/Saturday night (maybe later weekday nites too??) you will see that slowly change to a slight younger crowd. They have Karaoke I believe Saturday nights. Quite a few years ago (if not longer) I heard some "pretty" interesting stories of how it use to be, just ask one of the local folks & they will tell you lots of true tales... Some beers on tap, little decent selection of domestic & import in bottles. I was surprised they have wine & pink moscato at that (the little 6 pack bottles) good enough for me :) Don't think they do mixed drinks or carry hard liquor. --- Did I forget to mention they also proudly serve Hangar 24, bottled :) Yes, as the other review stated, they do serve a drink called Chrissy's Kiss, among other cute named drinks :) (I'm sorry, I'm a gurl!) Go early (more like late afternoon before dark) and you always get into conversation with one of the many friendly locals. All in all, it's just one of those small town local spots to kick back in. I used to live out here and did stop in once in a while. This place is a great local pit stop for sure. I do stop in when I am in town. The bartender is always friendly and loves to talk to you. There was only one person in when we went on. She was really a treat. Old lady that was getting hammered to live life it seemed, maybe I'm wrong but it sure seemed like it. This place has been here a long time. I did ask the bartender about the changes. It was here when I was a kid. A long time ago... LOL They did have a good selection of beers both domestic & import in bottles. We tried the Mexican beers. Not sure about the hard drinks. I did not see any. But I did not ask either. All in all, this is a good little dive joint that takes great care of you when you stop in!! I would give this place a negative 5, if I could. It really is that bad. Walking in, I was greeted by a good stare down, included from the bartender. I was in there yesterday and felt so turned off that I felt the need to immediately try to warn other's. Crappy service, overpriced beer. Bartender acted real clickish and never hardly spoke a word. She was sure to hang with other's, who must of been in the click, there. They weren't really busy, but the people next to me felt like they needed to ask me 50 questions. I finally asked him if he was writing a book or something. In all fairness, that isn't the bar's fault. I tried to take a small photo for my facebook, and the bartender said she "Hated getting her picture taken!", & "Don't take my picture!". I said, "Don't worry, I won't. I got up after my drink had been empty for 10 minutes, and "Then- She asked" If I was going to have another. No Thank You, I will be leaving, was my answer. I didn't feel welcome and basically felt as if they seem to think that they are doing you a favor by even serving you. Bill was $4.75 for one beer, and I left a quarter. Even that was way too much. It wasn't my first time there either. I got the same crappy service once or twice before. So, I figure 3 strikes and your out. Maybe you need to walk in with a girlfriend, or your birthday is under 35 before you fit in. read more
