What a terrible first experience at this place. We were here to look at a new home so decided to stop here for a bite to eat before we see our possible new future home. I stood inside for 4-5 minutes without seeing anyone that worked there. So I went to the side of the kitchen where there was a door and saw someone in there. I peaked inside and said hello, and this female staff member lost her marbles and basically said how unacceptable it was that I did that and basically chased me out of the restaurant. I only did that because we had my 83 year old handicap grandfather and our small dog with us on a hot day so I was hoping to just get some water for both of them. Instead she continued to have the worst attitude I ever experienced from a restaurant staff member. To the owners, I highly recommend you watch tape of her attitude towards me, and watch my poor grandfather have to hobble out of your establishment due to your terrible employee. She claimed to be the only one working so it should be easy to figure out who she is, she didn't have a name tag on. She should be fired. We were there today, which is 6-1-26 at 11:40am if you have any aspiration to better your business, I encourage you to watch camera footage of her terrible attitude towards your customers. We stopped by Fire Rock Burgers & Brews after a friend's golf competition. Overall, it was a decent experience. The inside has a really cool, laid-back vibe, and it's one of the few sit-down spots nearby without having to drive farther out, which definitely made it a convenient choice at the time. Our server was friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. I'm giving it a 3 mainly because the food didn't quite wow me. I ordered the Californication burger with pepper jack cheese, firewood-roasted green chiles, applewood-smoked bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, avocado, and chipotle aioli. It sounded incredible, but for me, it ended up being a little underwhelming and not as flavorful as I had hoped. We also shared the poke nachos, which were pretty tasty, along with carne asada fries. I especially enjoyed the regular fries as they were crispy and well-done, just how I like them. The carne asada fries looked great and had good potential, but they felt slightly under-seasoned, so the flavors didn't fully come through. I didn't try any of the beers myself, but my friend mentioned hers wasn't as cold or as flavorful as she expected. That said, it may have just been an off moment. Overall, it's a fun spot with a great atmosphere, and it looks like they might have live music on certain nights. Since we were just in town briefly for the golf competition, we didn't hang out too long. There's also plenty of parking, which is always a plus. Stopped in on a Saturday evening for dinner. It wasn't too crowded, and they had live music. Ot was a nice easygoing environment. Although the servers seemed to be running a little crazy. Their meals come out in a cute guitar shaped metal basket, and both kids were happy with their meals! They also gave them a coloring page of a guitar pick to color and hang on the wall. They absolutely loved that! They were so proud once their artwork went up to be displayed! The decor is all old band posters, tapestries, album covers, and guitars, and mood lighting on the dimmer side.Its not cheezy at all. They did a great job with the decor. Fire Rock is conveniently located right off the freeway and near a large community. We can normally get a table or sit at the bar pretty easily. They have good burgers, fries and salads. Not a fan of some of the appetizers - brussel sprouts are too sweet and the wings aren't cooked or seasoned enough. The bartenders are solid and they do have some creative cocktails. I like the rock & roll theme and all the decor - great to look at and they often have live entertainment. This was our first visit to Fire Rock, and it was a very enjoyable experience. The service was great thanks to Jessica, and the appetizers and burgers were tasty and perfectly prepared. The only thing I'd change would be the addition of a few more servers or busboys. Fielding a couple of employees during the lunch rush is just unfair to your staff, the poor gals were moving non stop in an attempt to keep everyone happy. The waitress was nice and removed it from our bill but the nerve to attempt to sell this as a specialty burger. I went out to dinner to eat which didn't happen. A party of four and we waited 1 hour in a very lightly occupied restaurant, finally the food arrived only to send my plate back 3 times- (now it's been almost 1 1/2 hours and the rest of the party had eaten). Great place to enjoy one of their unique burgers & beer. However my favorite go to is their boneless wings and a beer called "free bird". The wings are uniquely made and come available with a variety of flavors to choose from. They have a nice outside patio with plenty of seating as well as inside at the bar or one of their tables. They are pet friendly which pets are allowed in the outside patio area.
