So my second visit to SBD and have been to Henry's 3 times this week! I tried looking up any other place near me that would have good reviews on their food and after reading a few, i said, Henry's has consistently had great food and service. Do i try something new, or go to a place i KNOW will not disappoint. Upon finding perfect easy access parking and being greeted at the second i walked in made the night start off right! After studying the menu for something i have not had yet, i chose the bbq sandwich. When this glorious dish arrived i knew it would be a special experience. The flaky buttery croissant like bun nearly made a tear stream down my face, it was a light flaky tasty brown bun that was absolute perfection to behold. The first bite made me so upset that i put the sandwich down and just stared at it!!! There is no cosmic reason any sandwich should taste this unbelievably good! I was mad at myself for even slightly considering eating anywhere else tonight. The carnitas were cooked to absolute perfection and the bbq sauce was a perfect complement of sweet/tangy flavor that had a surprise addition of red onions to take the flavor profile of this sandwich to near god tier level. Each bite made me think of ways to write this review and attempt to capture the absolute perfection that was served up by this little place i am glad to be a dedicated regular at. My boyfriend had a great time visiting here and chatting with our easy-going and fun to talk to bartender, Anthony! He was so fun and made genuine suggestions on the food to help us find what we had an appetite for. We got the small portion of the champion nachos with nacho cheese and it was a very good portion for what you pay for. Highly recommend it. They truly want you to enjoy your time here, eat good food, and drink great drinks. We will be coming back for wet burrito Wednesdays! They were out of the Beyond burgers and taco "meat", but offered an avocado taco instead. And I'm not mad. Tortillas were really fresh, generous slices of avocado, queso fresco, and some salsas. Food was delicious with generous portions. We tried Asada fries, street tacos (asada & carnitas) and the carnitas bbq sandwich. They had fun pink "mom" drinks for Mother's Day. I was surprised they have Happy Hour specials on drinks & food from 4-7 so right through dinner. We ordered chips & salsa & the chips were tri-color, warm and crispy. Glad they serve Coke products. I came here with my uncle and honestly, I felt like our server was just really sassy. She didn't seem interested in helping and didn't have a pleasant attitude when we ordered. At first, I brushed it off thinking maybe she was just having a bad day -- but it just continued the whole time. We wanted to order drinks, but it took about 5-10 minutes just to get her attention, and the place wasn't even that busy. She seemed way more interested in talking to the people sitting at the bar than checking on anyone at the tables. You'd think if she noticed our glasses were empty, she'd offer another round, but she never did. After we placed our initial order, we never saw her again -- another server ended up stepping in and was much more helpful. When we left, I noticed other tables were also trying to get their server's attention, so clearly we weren't the only ones having that experience. The food and drinks were great, but the service really ruined it. Management really needs to step up and get better help. read more

Visited there on a Saturday evening. It is definitely more bar than grill. The menu is extensive but our meals were typical for bar food. There was a standout in their fries though, they brought a smile to my face. Service was good overall but they seem under-staffed which led to items being missed. Ambiance is too loud for a sit down meal for my liking, but if I were there to watch a game on the many TV screens over beers, I would give it another half star. read more

Came here last weekend, on a Friday night to have some drinks with the wife. The Mexican candy the bartender makes was delicious! Extremely dangerous cause they taste like candy, you can simply down them and be in for a rough night lol. And the price was reasonable. I'd be back to try other food on their menu. However, I do have some feedback. We ordered bottomless mimosas is $25, we had to ask a few time to be topped off. When you pay for bottomless mimosas the staff should always make sure the customer is always topped off, until they don't want anymore. My other thing is the menu said chorizo with potatoes. What a cute, modern sports bar! The inside is not that big but its clean, lots of tvs, and little touches for ambience. We were welcomed immediately for happy hour when we arrived with a friendly server and when she was switching shifts we had a replacement server asap. Service was consistent the entire visit! We tried the cheese curds which were wonderful! (not on happy hour menu) They came out wonderful and paired really well with their chipotle sauce. The wings were good but not great. Really enjoyed the tacos! The carnitas were delicious and we also tried two grilled shrimp tacos that were equally wonderful and appreciated they were filled with toppings. My wife has brought me buffalo wings from this place several times and they are outstanding. Finally went there to eat a late dinner. Small sports bar on Redlands Blvd. Several big screen TVs. The bar seats about 12 people. Several tables for about 40 people. I tried the Jesses jalapeno burger. I like hot spicy food. This did not disappoint. We saw Henry's on the street and decided to check it out, for it sounded like our kind of place. Yelp reviews looked very good, so we dined here for lunch, and were not disappointed. It is like a classic sports bar, with a medium-sized bar, some tables and booths, and six large flat-screen televisions tuned to sports action. We opened with very good heat-hot Beer Battered Onion Rings and Breaded Cheese Curds. The rather stubby O' Rings tasted best dipped in Ketchup or house-made BBQ Sauce. The Cheese Curds were filling and even better dipped in provided Chipotle Sauce and Ranch Dressing. Two 1/3 lb. Classic Cheeseburgers with American Cheese arrived on buttered and grilled buns. Mine included lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion, while Diane ordered her burger plain. The meat was more well done than medium rare as ordered, but still tasted quite good. French Fries were somewhat soft on the inside and crisper on the outside. And Tater Tots were excellent. Food was brought to our table in baskets by Richard, who was both a friendly and efficient server. I received free Coke Zero refills. Piped in instrumental music added to a nice casual ambiance. Was in town for work and was looking for a spot to watch the Raider game. Called in to see if they would have it and the guy who answered the phone was friendly and let me know they had Sunday Ticket so they should have the game on. Went in and was very impressed with the place. The waitress and bartender were both very nice and checked on us often to ensure we had everything we needed. Can't speak about the libations much bottled beer is hard to mess up. The place looked clean, music was good. It wasn't very busy at 3 in the afternoon. I want to point out that this is a hidden gem in Redlands. The food is really good, it's a great fun but not crazy atmosphere, the specials are great, and it's easy to park close by, as opposed to the ridiculous parking situation downtown. I love their Taco Tuesday - their shrimp tacos are great and you get three for like $10 on taco Tues. Happy hour goes late Mon-Thurs and starts late Fri & Sat Good selection of beers, they make good mixed drinks - not fancy but good and affordable, the staff is cool and helpful. The only down side is that there isn't more seating - it can fill up fast. Another plus - you can pop over for great rolled ice cream tacos after you eat, or karaoke in private rooms, all next door. read more

I started with a Smoky Old Fashioned which came out looking fantastic. However, it looked better than it tasted. Not sure if it was the bourbon used or the bitters but it was blah. We ordered a cheese curd appetizer and those were the best menu item that we had. For dinner I had the Fat Jesse Mexican burger with onion rings and a Paloma. Again, the Paloma looked great but really lacked in flavor. The onion rings were the frozen kind that didn't seem cooked enough. The burger was okay, not bad but also nothing special. The roasted jalapeño that came on top also didn't have much flavor or spice. Overall, I would come back for a beer and cheese curds but wouldn't try much else on the menu.
