It's impossible to get anyone on the phone to make an appointment or ask about an appointment/ meds etc. their hold machine goes for 15 min before it goes to voicemail. Then no one must check the voicemail because I've never gotten a call back. I've literally been on hold for 2 hours total yesterday, and going on a half an hour today plus a voicemail. All to make an appointment because my newborn is having diarrhea.

I can not count the times I had to contact her to get advice or help with something. She would ALWAYS answer within less then 24 hours and would have an answer ready. She would not hesitate to give assistance even when it was a lot of work to write something. She was such a pillar to lean on while my by now teenaged daughter was struggling a lot with mental health and other issues. Dr. Micky has been a strong part of our network we've built to keep our kids healthy. Unfortunately our insurance situation changed so we can't keep her any longer. The kids are 17 and 19 by now but I wish we could stay even for the last few years. You can trust that Dr. Micky will make decisions with your kid's wellbeing in mind. We were then scheduled for June 6, but that appointment was canceled by the office. We were rescheduled for June 19, only to have that appointment canceled as well. As a result, my infant has now missed his routine 4-month well-child visit, and my older son has missed his 2-year follow-up appointment. These are important developmental visits that should not be repeatedly delayed due to office scheduling issues. To make matters worse, when my youngest son developed diarrhea, I had to repeatedly advocate for him to be seen. The office finally agreed to schedule him, but only with a physician assistant rather than the pediatrician. While I respect physician assistants and the care they provide, after months of canceled appointments, I expected my child to be seen by the physician we had originally established care with. Families rely on pediatric practices to provide timely and consistent care. Repeated cancellations, difficulty obtaining appointments, and lack of continuity have made this experience incredibly frustrating and have caused unnecessary stress and concern for my children's health. I would not recommend this practice based on our experience.

I am happy to say that my primary care provider, Dr. Shirvanian listens and for me, that's a very important thing and something I look for when I choose a physician. Her nurse, is just as caring and pleasant. Other thoughts about my experience: - Provide a list of your meds if you're a new patient. - Front office reception and in-house lab are staffed with friendly, ready-to-help professionals.
