The first thing I noticed was how kind everyone was....at least 3 nail techs wished her a happy birthday. Then they offered us water or soda. They were so kind!!! Second, Emily did an AMAZING job on my daughter's nails!!! I have not seen anyone do as good of a job for a long time!! My daughter and I were SOOO IMPRESSED!! And the prices were AMAZING!! I would have spent over $200 for her gel X manicure and my pedicure at another salon but it was much cheaper than what I expected to pay!! We will definitely be back!! I can't say enough good things about Queen and King Nail Salon. My mom loves this place and she doesn't even live here, so that already says a lot. Now I completely get it. The salon is super clean, small, and really inviting. I went in about four weeks ago as a walk in around 4:30 on a Sunday and was taken right away. No wait at all. My skin has become really sensitive over the past few years, so I have to be careful with nail services. The last place I went to didn't really understand that, so I came in a little nervous. I started with a pedicure with no polish and no cutting, just cleaning and filing, and T followed that exactly. He also gave me one of the best leg and foot massages I've had in a long time. Then came my hands. I wanted something over my natural nails and asked about hybrid options. I explained all my concerns to Emily, the technician, who is amazing. She really listened, walked me through different options, and made it clear that if I felt any discomfort at all we would stop immediately. She was so careful the entire time. Every single step. She made sure not a drop of product touched my skin. I'm sure this ended up being one of the longest French manicures she's ever done, but she never rushed me or made me feel like a problem. She told me there's a two week guarantee on French manicures and to come back if anything chipped, but it's been four weeks and they still look beautiful. I've been going to Queen & King for a few months now, and I always wait to write a review after a few appointments. 1st of all, booking an appointment is easy! They have a couple of amazing receptionists that are friendly and knowledgeable. I love that. Emily is my go-to for my nails. I adore her, she is so pleasant and sweet. She's a perfectionist when it comes to shaping. I don't do anything too fancy, but the nail shape is very important to me (I have natural nails) and she listens and does exactly what I want. I've also seen Mr. T, and he is great as well. Just yesterday I had my gel manicure and pedi done. The price is right, and they don't gouge you for anything added on. The best part, after my appointment I was at the store, and TWICE someone asked me if I had press ons done. That is a huge compliment in my opinion! I 100% recommend this salon. I came to this salon when my usual place didn't have the availability to do a walk-in acrylic fill when I came in after work (I know - my fault for not making an appointment ahead of time) and I will say that I am very happy with my experience here! I did call ahead to check for walk-in availability and when I was told there was, I was able to get seated and my service started minutes after walking through the door. The salon itself was clean, as was the working station I was seated at. The person who did my nails (Tony) was very nice and professional. He made sure that I was comfortable throughout the session and didn't hurt my nails/cuticles during the filing/shaping process (which as happened to me at other salons before). While my service was pretty quick, I didn't feel as though it was rushed and Tony made sure I was truly satisfied with how my nails looked throughout my service. I came in yesterday for a hybrid gel fill and the gal did hard gel instead. The gel is uneven and the polish job is just plain awful, and none in my nails are even. They are supposed to be almond shape, but they are just terrible. I was charged $65 and tipped $15. I am very much unsatisfied and don't see myself ever coming back. read more

I've been going to Q&K for over a year now and couldn't be happier. I always go to Tony for my nails and whoever for my toes. Last time Sophia gave me my pedicure and she did great. The woman who I assume is the owner is always friendly and is always walking around and checking on the technicians and customers. Tony is fast and his work is consistently great. He worked with me in the beginning to figure out what I like and now, a year later, he gets my nails done in 40 minutes. And the best part is I can go a whole month before going back. I have had many pedicures at this company and never had an issue until today. Since when do nail techs cut the side of your toenail and pull it out like you have an ingrown toenail. Before I even knew what she was doing she cut the side and yanked it out. Had instant burning. We've been to Queen and King Nail Salon a few times now. It is located off of Horizon Ridge Pkwy and Eastern Ave. in the CVS, Pinkbox, Fizz shopping center. I always call and make an appt but every time we show up there is still always a wait. Pricing is similar to most nail shops Acrylic full sets are $40 with $30 fills. Gel Acrylics $55 and up for a full set and $45 and up on fills. Regular Pedi's $30. Manicures are $35 with $15 for gel. Always seems like they are rushing us out of the chairs. Pedicures are ok. They don't do much scrubbing on the feet and they have never cut the cuticles from our feet. No real massage or anything special for $50 for a gel pedi. Angel was amazing at pedis, but she has left and now seems like the female doing pedi's is a little unexperienced. Manicures are pretty much the same at $50 for a gel mani. No real cuticle care and the paint is a bit uneven and thick. What is the most disappointing is they paint your nails so far from the cuticle line that within 2 or 3 days, it looks like you need a fill again, bc it looks totally grown out. On the plus side, if you need to get a nail appt last minute, they seem to always squeeze ppl in. I would ask for Tony for nails, he's fast and does nice work. read more

Me and my girlfriend visited this location for national girlfriends day. Hands down the best pedicure in Las Vegas and Henderson! I was welcomed warm hands and fast sit down time. So I read all of the reviews and thought I had picked a good one. Unfortunately, my experience so far is mixed. There are 3 technicians here and 2 customers, myself and another lady. My appt was for 9:30 am. It is 9:45 am. She sat me in a chair and proceeded to assist another woman that came in. The water was hot when I sat down but, when she was ready to begin, the water was cold. Overall, they are very nice folks in here. The shop is clean and offers a very peaceful atmosphere. This rating comes with much contemplation. I appreciate the accommodation of a fast appointment for my husband and me.. the staff was pleasant, good atmosphere. Here's the issues . We were looking for a place that could accommodate my husband. He wears wirk boots and has callouses and needed good foot care since we are on vacay. Hence the company name. - they tech soaked hus feet like all other pedicures are done. The problem was using a drill on his cuticles and nail bed. She did not use cuticle remover nor the tool to push the cuticles but a drill on water moistened tie nails. His toe nails were left jagged, legs and feet were dry and callouses mildly removed. Hannah, reconciled it but gave an excuse . She said his cuticles were thick. However the drill was used on his nail bed. That made the nail rough. My hubby asked fir a natural buff which Hannah said couldn't happen bc the nail was too rough. She offered clear polish and my husband us nit into nail polish. So, the issue is damaged nail bed from a drill on basically Virginia tie nails. 2nd issue I came for color change of Regular Polish on my toe nails and dip gel manicure. Again, this tech used acetone to remove the polish then a drill around the cuticle and on my nail bed. She drilled close on my skin. I when I said ouch bc she naked the skin. She put her finger over it applying pressure.. no cuticle remover or oil or stick to push cuticle. My ties still hurt bc of this. She put regular polish back on. Then my nails with the dip gel. Most place I get dip gel, they don't use infrared light. I'm trying to spare exposure but apparently they don't have that product. So the color change and dip gel manicure was $65. I dont mind paying for great service but I do mind leaving in discomfort. For my hubby, he just wanted good pampering, he did fall asleep in chair, let nassage was decent but the rest was not ok. I can not tell your techs hiw to do their jobs but not all feet nor treatments require same protocol. That drill is not sufficient nor should be SOP. I normally see the drill on nail bed when I get gel on my toes but anyone wanting a natural buff, dirs nit need it bc it does damage the nail bed. Honestly, we are disappointed . read more
