Don't be in a rush for these bowls! When I walked in there were 3 employees with no one in line. It took them several minutes to acknowledge me and take my order for 2 bowls. UPDATE: I was very impressed with the quick response of the management. Within 30 minutes of posting the review below, I was contacted by management letting me know that every member of the Rush Bowls team has been granted the ability to enter the promo code for the free topping. I am looking forward to my next visit for a Beach Bowl with a scoop of homemade peanut butter on top! Rush Bowls continues to be my favorite acai bowl in Dallas, however I'm getting a little frustrated with their service. They have a perk that allows you to receive a free topping (it usually costs $1 without the promo) if you check-in to Yelp when you go. The last two times that I have gone, I have checked into Yelp and the wonderful sweet young woman at the counter has told me that only the Team Leads have access to the promo code they must enter in order for the system to register my free topping. Well both times the team lead wasn't in the building for whatever reason. She told me she could start making my bowl and I could pay whenever the Team Lead got back from wherever she went. Luckily the first time the Team Lead walked in a few minutes later and was able to enter the promo code so I could get my free topping. However the most recent time I went, I waited for 5 or so minutes and she never showed up. I asked the employee at the register how long she thought it would take and she responded, "she went to take out the trash, but she was on the phone so....", implying it might be awhile. So I went ahead and paid full price for my bowl. I walked outside and I saw a women in a Rush Bowls t-shirt leaning against the side of the building talking on her cell phone. I can only imagine that was probably the Team Lead.. I realize that it was only a dollar that I lost out on, but regardless that is very poor customer service. If you are going to offer some sort of perk to your customers who check in on Yelp to tell others they are giving you business, then make sure that no matter when they come in to your store they can utilize that free perk. read more

Love this place! I have been to other locations and this one is just like the original! I have tried the Yoga Bowl (my personal favorite), the Beach bowl, and the Dragon bowl - which have all been great. This is such a quick and healthy place for a snack or light meal. The staff were super friendly and allowed us to sample their all natural (no additives) peanut butter! So delicious, I highly recommend it. Also, they have mini puppy bowls for dogs :) read more

SO GOOD! Besides how long it took me to find (google maps sucks), this place was incredible. The staff was eager to help me find a good bowl, and the one I chose was the perfect consistency and plenty filling. I got strawberries and almond butter to top it off and it was elite. Heard about this place a few times amongst coworkers and decided to give it a try. I'm a smoothie fanatic and am particular about my ingredients. I find that a lot of smoothie places give less fruit and more liquid so I usually make my own but I ordered through DoorDash and was pleasantly surprised. I chose almond milk but asked if they could substitute for juice. My order came with a handwritten note on the receipt saying they used guava juice instead of almond milk for me. Great smoothies and customer service are definitely what will bring me back here. Will recommend to others. read more

Not an exaggeration when I say this is the best smoothie I have ever had - the taste is amazing and the consistency is perfect! Talk about a rip off! I thought this place was great until I paid extra for blueberries on top of my bowl and the woman literally gave me 6. When I asked her if she could add more because I had paid for them, she rudely told me "Sorry, it's our policy, plus these are organic, so more expensive." Ok I'm Sorry but $1 for 6 blueberries is outrageous. I went home and added 10 more blueberries myself from my $3 box of organic central market blueberries. read more

Delicious bowls! I'm usually not a fan of bowls because they are too watery and the fruit is too sour for my taste, but these have yogurt and milk (fat free or soy) mixed in so they have a creamy texture. They are also topped with yummy granola and honey, and you can choose to top the bowl with fruit or supplements! I got the yoga bowl and it was delicious! Guys, there is zero quality here. Good smoothies don't have frozen yogurt and all that non-fresh juice. And that's what these smoothies and bowls are- sugar. It's just one step up from Smoothie King. Only ONE topping on an acai bowl?? Go to Nekter for a real bowl! They put like 10 toppings on top for the same price and they don't use sugary fillers like fro yo. The menu had the smoothies priced at 2 dollars which seemed low but that's what it said so I didn't read into it. Turns out when I made the purchase it was eight dollars. Their menu (which was a screen) I was told was wrong after I had completed the purchase, I'm still confused how the menu price was 6 dollars off when I'm sure they could change it considering it was a TV but I was at least it would be good because it was so expensive. Turns out I was wrong again. The smoothie I got had 3 fruits and milk and still somehow needed up being flavorless. I don't know how considering fruit is sweet but it tasted like and extremely watered down blueberry. Moral of this story is that I had a bad experience and recommend you don't go here because the it's overpriced and mediocre. read more

If heaven has acai bowls, this is what I imagine they taste like! I'm in town from San Francisco and wanted something yummy after yoga. I had the peanut butter and jelly comfort bowl - I died and went to heaven after the first bite. And the owner is unbelievably helpful, hilarious and kind. What they sell you is literally smoothie in a bowl with probably the worst granola I've over tasted over it.. that's 9 dollars plus.. oh and don't ask the employee making it if it's possible to make it with a little more texture.. all they will say is "that's what happens when you blend fruit you can add toppings for extra charge". Honesty these bowls were very overpriced and not the best tasting, but it was edible. I got the paradise bowl and it was practically gelatinous. This was the weirdest texture I've ever experienced with a smoothie/pitaya bowl. Also it only comes with chocolate and granola? What can I say the owners are awesome. My favorites are the Dragon Bowl, Berry Fresh Bowl and the great Peanut Butter Bowl which is bomb.com. I have tried many different juice bars and Acai bowl places but something about this place as I cannot get the same taste anywhere else. I absolutely love the Jungle Bowl. Dallas has really been needing one of these places. It's hidden in Mockingbird station, which is a bummer for them, but the menu is large and exactly what you'd look for when craving an acai bowl!
