It was my first time going into Rush Bowls and it was a pretty good experience! I love acai bowls and this one was reasonably priced for $12.95. I wish it was cheaper, but it wasn't that bad. The store was pretty small with a couple spots to sit, but it would've been cramped with too many people inside. I got the the beach bowl and it came with granola, honey and one topping. They advertised an additional topping if you did 10 pushups or 20 squats, so I had my boyfriend do 10 pushups for another topping! The cashier trusted me to count those 10 pushups that he did. It seemed busy when we got there and even though it looked like the cashier was the only one working, he was still very friendly. Rush Bowls are good for you and just plain good. I love the berry bowl and the staff will add the toppings you want, and they even abide me asking for extra granola on top with my honey. When I'm in a hurry between meetings, I could stop by McDonalds and grab something fast, or I could stop by Rush Bowls and treat my body to something that will give it sustenance. I was really excited to see there were smoothie bowls really close to my new home. I had my first berry bowl while visiting Hawaii and it was less expensive on the Island where everything is overpriced and double the size making it perfect to share. I went ahead and ordered the Yoga bowl and it was just ok. Nothing special at all for it to cost $15. I'll have to really be craving this again before I'd order anything else from here. It wasn't gross, but after reading all the reviews about employees not wearing gloves while preparing the bowls definitely turns me away. Hopefully they make some changes to make their customers happier. I got a delivery order so I wasn't there to see if gloves were worn or if hands were washed. read more

The first time I had a bowl was at this location and I come back every year. The ingredients are fresh and healthy for you. Only challenge is picking which one you want to eat. There is also a bench right outside that is nice to sit on when it isn't raining and enjoy your bowl. Yikes! First time we drive all the way out here they were closed. Okay that's fine, with COVID everyone's closing earlier. They didn't have their hours updated anywhere but it was whatever. Second time we come, the register doesn't work. The girl behind the counter had accidentally turned it off and it wasnt working. She says that in order for it to work she's have to call her manager to fix it, implying that he's not even there. Now good customer looks like "hey, sorry about this here's a coupon for next time". I LOVE RUSH BOWLS! i've been a fan of bowls and smoothies for years and when I tell you i've never been to a bowl place as awesome as this one, believe me! Such a variety and lots of low-fat and sugar free options. Everything is incredibly fresh as well, the employee behind the counter told me they make the peanut butter and jam fresh! I never even got the chance to try the bowl that I paid over $12 for because I watched the girl prepare my smoothy bowl without gloves on. Disgusting. She sliced fresh strawberries on a dirty cutting board, once again without gloves on. How is that not a food safety violation? I then watched her pile on granola, putting her palm all over the bowl to keep it in the bowl and once again, without gloves on. Not to mention the fact that you have to eat this with a spoon but the spoons are in a communal cup. All this during COVID my guy? I should have know considering the place was dirty as hell with crap all over the floor. This is my new smoothie spot, I love the customer service, above and beyond friendly attitudes of the awesome guys that work there! these bowls are awesome, made to order so it takes a little longer, but well worth the 4-5 min wait to have a fresh made bowl with fresh ingredients! They have a ton of different fruits than the other smoothie places around, including guava and prickly pear and offer a way more diverse menu than a run of the mill smoothie shop! I got the beach bowl. The base was good, but the ratio of goodies on top was slim. It was a good scoop of granola, but 5 slices of strawberry. That was it though, granola, strawberry, and honey for topping. You can pay 1$ for additional toppings, but I didn't do that because I thought the original item would be fine. If you're willing to spend the extra money to get enough toppings, I would recommend that. read more

It took 25 minutes for them to compose their "specialty" Beach Bowl after they got the previous customers order wrong three times. Their bowls are pre mixed and they seriously tossed some over ripe strawberries and coconut shavings on top. $12.25 with a tip and it took 25minutes. So much for a quick breakfast. read more

Tried to go this morning for a date with my husband. When we arrived at 9am it was empty and nobody inside. The door was locked and there was no sign saying there was any emergency or staff meeting. The door says it opened at 7am. Bummed it wasn't open and wish the hours on the door reflected actual times they are serving. Update: we went back again this evening at 7:38 right before the posted closing at 8pm. We were told it closed at 7:30 and opens at 7:30 even though the signs say otherwise. Unsure about what hours they are actually open. Update 2: finally got to try Rush bowls and we unfortunately were not impressed. The açaí does taste pretty watered down. Nothing like a true açaí bowl from places like Carioca. The system was down and we had to check out manually on the phone which was frustrating and strange but not the end of the world. Be careful as topping prices are mislabeled and you will be incorrectly charged. It says almond butter is $1 on the menu but in reality it rings up to $1.50. The dollar for strawberry topping is the equivalent of one strawberry. Definitely not worth the cost. Overall the bowl was not a good value, prices are misrepresented, and the flavor was lacking. I was excited to see rush bowls open up in Tanasbourne! I took my family here for an afternoon snack before going to the pool. We all wanted to eat, but didnt want fast food. I was extremely pleased to see all the natural ingredients and no sugar being added to fruit smoothies. I had the power bowl and added peanut butter to it. It was the good kind of natural peanut butter too! My wife and kids all enjoyed the delicious smoothies. We will definitely be back as either a lunch alternative or a healthy snack. read more

There was one employee, so even though I was first in line, I waited a long time to have my order taken. The woman at the counter was super unpleasant, acting exasperated at everything. First time ordering today. I did door dash and it was prompt as always however I ordered a bowl $17 bowl with all the yummy extras I ordered and a bowl for my dog .. They forgot to put it in the bag. Like really? How difficult is it to read 2 orders and make sure they are in the bag before stapling the receipt to the bag? All of the extra toppings were not on the bowl either.. I called to let them know and the girl that answered was very snotty! Yea I was upset and had every right to he, so don't cop an attitude with a customer on your mistake. Also I have read the reviews and the "owners" replies. You make an excuse for every poor comment left. You should humble yourself and just say sorry we missed the mark on your order, noone that files a complaint wants to hear a excuse! Just accept you did wrong and you might have a lot more success. Their is no need for you to excuse away your employees rude and condescending tone with me period! I had the Jungle bowl, and my boyfriend had an açaí bowl. We waited several minutes and were ultimately disappointed in the presentation. All of the photos in the establishment show beautiful bowls topped with fresh sliced strawberries, blueberries, coconut, etc. Our bowls were topped with a pile of overly sweet granola, and NOTHING ELSE. That's very misleading advertising! Upon closer inspection of the menu, it looks like you can add toppings for $1 each. But at $8.95 per bowl, could they not throw in a single sliced strawberry or 4-5 blueberries for free? To get a bowl that looks like the photos, you would have to pay closer to $14 including the tip! Also, most of the bowls are juice/froyo based (lots of sugar and calories), and not as healthy as they could be. If I wanted frozen blended juice, dairy, and sugar, I would have gone to Jamba Juice for half the cost. Overall, this place was a disappointment. read more

Ordered a smoothie called "Espresso Yourself" as she handed me the drink I asked how many shots of espresso they put in each drink she informed me that they used cold brew coffee instead?? WHAT? She said they didn't have any espresso, didn't know if they were going to get espresso and that she had to make due with what she had (with an attitude). I'm sorry but if you are selling a $7 smoothie and don't have the key ingredient you may want to alert the customer so they can make a different choice. read more
