This Best Buy had many options, plenty of inventory (one reason I was there was because a competitor had empty/low inventory display cases), and a good amount of proactive staff ready to answer questions. The added bonus was that I had forgotten what a nice experience it is to stroll around a consumer electronics store. I was able to see the latest in various categories and get familiar with the current prices. (and also notice how antiquated some of my technology has become). One important note- my return/exchange window is only two weeks, so always check on that before you buy.

We purchased a new dryer from Best Buy and agreed to the floor model for a lower price. The app used by the delivery service worked the first time (with the damaged dryer) but for the delivery the following week it was a total mess. The app gave us the time of 11:30-3:30 but it showed the driver arriving at 10:48am all day long, until we got a call just before 1pm that they were on their way. Calling Best Buy customer support was no help since they use an outside delivery service. We were on the phone for almost an hour trying to find out when they were arriving but the agent told us to wait until 3:30 and if they didn't arrive to call and re-schedule!! What ridiculous advice!! We have to move schedules and work around to stay home and wait for delivery and their response was to call if it didn't arrive!! Best Buy needs to have a better way of connecting with their outside delivery service especially since the app was completely useless. We should also have a way to contact the delivery service since Best Buy customer service is unable to help in any way. The delivery guys were great but the app was a total disaster and never updated the delivery time so we were stuck not knowing when they would arrive. Thank goodness the delivery guys were responsible and timely or we would have had to cancel yet again and then we'd have purchased elsewhere. Not sure we will ever trust Best Buy again.

There are several of these throughout the mall at Willowbrook. A couple kiosks and a couple of storefronts, I guess to maximize their business, but I was a bit annoyed when they started giving me the run around saying that maybe other locations had what I needed or could help me better. I went from the first shop to the kiosk back to the shop and then they asked that I go to the other storefront store. They didn't want to call the other stores which was odd, but I guess they wanted me to show them my device. They did a very good job replacing my lens and I think the model of these stores is to fix the ever present cracked screens that plagues us smartphone users these days. Anything beyond that though I'd seek out a more well equipped shop. It's nice to drop your phone off and shop for a bit which I think is the pitch here.
