Disclaimer: I'm one of those weirdos who love going to the Dentist. Now if you read between the lines, this means that I'm not easily impressed by just any dentist. I have high standards when it comes to my teeth because I have troublesome dental issues -- I grind my teeth so much that I have bad abfractions (gum recessions). There are many things that I look for in a dental practice -- technical skill, bedside manner, billing management, affordability, etc. most places are roughly similar. But one thing I've RARELY found in a dentistry is ARTISTRY. This is VERY important, people!!! Even if the dentist is smart, affordable, friendly, blah blah blah, it does not matter if they DO NOT have artistic skills!!! Ok, if you have healthy teeth and never get cavities, fine, go to whomever you want, but if you're like me and have teeth problems? Do yourself and your pocketbook a favor and find a Dentist who has BOTH Technical and Artistic Talent! Ok so here's proof positive of why Fulton Ranch Dental is a good fit for me, my husband, my son, and frankly, anyone: Recently, I had a gumline filling crumble off (remember, I grind my teeth) and so I immediately called Fulton Ranch Dental. Now, let me go into detail about my experience from the scheduling to the checkin at the front desk and wait time to the actual procedure with the dentist and dental assistant to the checkout and payment with the office manager. Scheduling & Insurance: Talked to Loretta ad nauseum about my insurance and she called them and made sure that benefits covered us properly and within the right timeframe. So that we knew what to expect as far as payments go prior to our appointments. So no surprise billing. :) She was very patient and polite! Checkin at Front Desk & Wait Time: I was greeted graciously by Jill and handed a form to complete. The entire process was quick and courteous -- my wait time was 5-10 minutes, if that. Actual Procedure The Dental Assistant (I blanked on her name -- oh crumb!) was fairly new to the industry (fresh out and only 2 years there) but she could have fooled me! She actually read the salient points from my medical questionnaire to Dr. Kyle -- say what??? Now this is an important part, people... because so many places don't even read what you fill out (you're just a number to them) but she really read my medical past??? How simple is this attention to detail??? And yet so rare and wonderful!!! Next up, Dr. Kyle was very friendly and informative. He took one look at my abfraction and knew right away what had to be done. Luckily, he had the bandwidth to fill it and did so, seamlessly, painlessly, and quite beautifully. He actually painted it and exquisitely color-matched it -- all while I watched an episode of How Stuff Works on Discovery Channel behind his head. They asked me to touch the filling for smoothness and it feels smooth like BTS butter. :) Checkout & Payment The office manager (again, didn't catch the name) was ever so kind and lovely. What is in the water at this place??? :) I'm waiting for a hitch but even the bill was not a sticker shock because I knew how much it would cost and it was fair. I've been to some crazy fancy dental spots who have lasers all over the place and charge $3K for a meager crown. This wasn't so. It was reasonable and well worth the 35 minute drive!!! Overall, I am incredibly happy to have switched my family over to Fulton Ranch Dental and I'm so glad we've finally found the holy grail of dentistry!!! :) read more

We have been going to Rush family Dental since 1996! The late Dr. David Rush treated my bad gums so well I still no longer see the dentist quarterly but only twice a year! And my teeth and gums are still in great shape at 74 years old! I even wore Invisaligns for 6 months to do a little straightening on my teeth at age 56! Drs Kyle and Corey Rush are both highly skilled and a delight to be around, as is their whole staff! It is actually a pleasure to see the dentist and to have my "upkeep" done! Staff is so welcoming, and takes an interest in meeting our needs and getting to know us! We travel almost 20 miles to see them but it is well worth the drive! After 30 years of being a patient there, I can highly recommend Rush Family Dental to all! read more

Before coming in for my treatment I was extremely nervous. In fact, I was so nervous that when Dr. Rush came in I started tearing up. He immediately noticed and he stopped everything to help talk me through the whole procedure, I felt like I was the only patient he had that day. I appreciated the fact that he took the time to help me on an emotional level. He was very personable and kind. I personally have worked as an oral surgeons assistant in an office where our patients comfort was our main priority. It's rare to find an office that meets these same standards. I am one of those people who dreads going to the dentist, but his staff were all so friendly and helpful, they helped ease my anxiety from the start. Dental genius, 'nuf said! I've had it all done here and I've never been happier with my smile since I actually got teeth! I receive so many compliments on how beautiful my smile is. I had a terrible bridge and never truly understood how aging and just plain awful it was until Dr. Rush replaced it. I've had a root canal done that was flawless and without pain. Went to work the same day.....I was willing to stay out of work but, I couldn't really justify it, I felt fine! Had the regular stuff done as well, cavities and cleanings and its always been great. Very friendly staff and exceptional work. I had two cavities filled, each a different type of cavity, so the procedure was a little different for each. Only one tooth required numbing, and the other cavity was removed and filled without numbing at all. I felt zero pain, and it was completed within 20 minutes, prep work included. I first met Dr. Rush years ago when I needed a large gap between my teeth cosmetically fixed. I'd been putting it off for years, but the old cosmetic job was breaking apart. Since everyone sees your front teeth first, this was a scary thing for me. Dr. Rush did the most beautiful job at preserving these teeth. They looked gorgeous and finally had my smile back. After this, I decided it was time to see Dr. Rush for my regular care. He always listens to my concerns and explains everything he is doing. I like to be informed on what is happening and he is on spot. Other dentists can get nervous or intimidated when someone asks too many questions. Not Dr. Rush. He is confident and assured and completely professional. When my mother moved here a couple of years ago, she also needed some dentistry. Mom saw Dr. Rush's son, Dr. Kyle and he did a fabulous job with my mother. She was 83 at the time and required a lot of patience. He was great with the impressions, adjustments and her teeth turned out perfect. The cost was reasonable and the visit was a success. My daughter and I have been going to Dr. Rush's office for about 7 yrs now. We've always been extremely happy and satisfied with EVERY part of our experience. My daughter went thru the Invisalign program, which we really should have done regular braces at 17 yrs old. She was not disciplined enough to wear her trays and change them on time, after not seeing them for over a year we went back to Dr. Rush and he was willing to continue to full treatment where my daughter stopped wearing her trays. There were new trays that needed to be ordered, and new appts she had to go in for and Dr. Rush worked with us 100% of the way. I have been going to Fulton Ranch for years. I used to see Dave Rush before moving in 2016. We were back in town on business this past weekend and I thought I would give them a try as I have yet to find myself a new dentist to replace these guys. Dave was by far the best dentist I have ever used. I know he was honest and did excellent work. I was impressed with the work that Kyle did yesterday. I can tell that he knows what he is doing. Plus I would expect the same level of integrity that I saw in Dave. I've been using Jill as my hygienist for years. She is awesome and I highly recommend her to anyone considering going to this office. She is gentle and very careful in her work. I've seen some bad hygienists in my life. On a sad note, shortly after we moved from AZ in 2016, Dave passed away and left the business to his 2 sons. Kyle obviously learned a lot from his dad. I highly recommend him to anyone. I felt like I was talking to his dad twenty or so years earlier. read more

Horrible experience with Dr. Rush. Wrong color crowns twice, bad root canal, and crowns that broke after only a year and a half. Also did fillings and at the next appointment said ewww....who did these fillings, they are horrible! Yes, Dr. Rush that was you that did them. Beautiful office, but horrible dentistry. 12/4/13 - Update to Dr. Rush's response over a year and a half later from my original review. Dr. Rush states that if the color is incorrect they will send back to the lab, they did this the first time and then "talked" me into the ones that came back and indeed placed in my mouth. The root canals that Dr. Rush did now have infection pockets from poor dentistry and I am looking at implants which are super expensive. I received an email today from Dr. Rush's office for a $1000 drawing. All you have to do is like and share their facebook page....and if you give a reivew on Yelp you get an extra chance to win. Mmmm....buying reviews now are we? I now go to Crossroads Dental and see Dr. Clayton who I highly recommend. read more

I really felt like I was getting scammed. Staff and office were nice. Really felt like all they were trying to do was have patients get a lot of unnecessary work. They use this laser, which studies have shown can be helpful when used with physical exams and xrays, but they pretty much only used the laser. When you haven't had more than 1 cavity in the last 15 years and a new dentist says you have cavities in over half your teeth, I get doubtful. Will not be going back. read more

This is the dental practice I longed to find and finally did. Dr. David and Kyle Rush have an outstanding dental practice with state-of-the art equipment and customer-focused staff. In talking to other dental specialists, Dr. Rush came up time and time again so I made the leap with 3 crowns, all fillings replaced and new needed fillings. My girlfriend recommended this practice and I checked it out before deciding to have my needed work there as she and her mother have had done for years. They were right about the high level of quality, caring attitude, and flexibility in scheduling and payment. They are excellent about communicating through email. The Rushes have another office at Fulton Ranch which I have also used in having my work done so that makes it nice to have options given commuting needs. read more

Dr. Rush is proof that dentists should not perform root canals. On November 18th, I went in for a look a a chipped tooth. They were very accommodating and squeezed me in during lunch hour during which they took x-rays of the tooth (#20). The x-ray showed the adjacent tooth #19 showed decay and needed a root canal. Once again, they fit me in at 5:20 pm, December 5th. After 40 minutes, Dr. Rush said he was done and went home. The assistant cleaned up and scheduled an appointment for the 8th to finish up and pull the chipped tooth. When the Novocaine wore off, the pain started and the 8th couldn't come fast enough. They pulled the chipped tooth, thinking that was the problem. It wasn't. He immediately referred me to an oral surgeon, Dr Fish for the 19th of December. Dr. Fish x-rayed the tooth, pulled it and said the infection spread to my jaw through a crack in the tooth created by the root canal. Over the next 2 weeks, I took huge amount of antibiotics and pain killers and saw him 7 times. He put in a drain to get rid of the pus.......pain and drain through Christmas....My GP took labs to rule out C-DIFF...Labs were negative on January 9th. Dr. Rush told me afterwards the complications such as this happen 15% of the time. Wow! To compensate, Dr. Rush me a $210 gave credit on future services. read more
