Terrible experience! Avoid this place at all costs. What should have been a simple passport renewal turned into a nightmare that cost me a missed flight, an extra week of hotel fees, and airline change fees. The issue was entirely their fault. I paid the state fees directly to them, but they failed to include them in my application. When I called to sort out the mistake, Louis Baldassarre from Rush My Passport argued with me, literally yelling, claiming they don't handle state fees and refused to issue a refund since the application was already in process. I gave up and just wanted to cancel my services with them to get my refund but they have taken so long to give me back my $200 refund. SCAM. Don't do it. RUN. Any five-star reviews are probably bought by the company. This service is deeply disappointing and, in our experience, misleading. It appears to rely heavily on the trusted FedEx name to create a sense of legitimacy, yet the actual service provided falls far below reasonable expectations. The online application process was vague and poorly structured, resulting in repeated submissions due to system-generated errors. The lack of clarity created unnecessary delays and frustration. Additionally, local FedEx store employees had little to no knowledge of the process and attempted to charge additional fees, further compounding the confusion. After contacting the State of Florida County Clerk Comptroller's Office directly, we were informed that the County Clerk could complete the entire process -- including correcting the errors caused by the online application -- and at a lower cost. Notably, they stated they were unfamiliar with "RushMyPassport" and advised us to seek a refund. Upon requesting a refund, we received no confirmation, no communication, and no updates across any of the associated platforms (FedEx, RushMyPassport, or my.goworks.com). The complete absence of response raises serious concerns about whether the delay is intentional in order to surpass the refund eligibility window. Consumers should proceed with extreme caution. Based on our experience, working directly with your local County Clerk is simpler, faster, more transparent, and significantly less expensive. Like many others have said, this service is a complete scam. GovWorks did not expedite my daughter's passport as promised. I still had to go in person to the USPS to get everything verified--exactly what I was trying to avoid due to the lack of available appointments within my timeline. They falsely claimed that the barcode on their form would trigger expedited processing, but in reality, only the $181 fee paid directly to the State Department determines that and the checkmark of the USPS person. total ripoff. GovWorks s a technology platform that Fedex hands you off to. They claim to "streamline passport applications by guiding users through forms to reduce errors and partner with FedEx to provide expedited passport services, allowing users to create a, fill out, and submit documents, which are then shipped and hand-carried to the U.S. Department of State." So what happens is you go to the Fedex site and they hand you off to govworks. The govworks process is more confusing than most government sites. They then process your input and fill out the DS-82 form. Along the way they try to upsell you on insurance, lost passports and all sorts of stuff and then hand you back to fedx for submission. They do not answer their support lines. Once I gave up and demanded a refund I still could not get through. I found websites to go to about how to request a refund and they have links to pages that don't exist read more

It's a total scam. I opted for the $207 express services package last week and never received a shipping label. Since then I haven't been able to reach anyone at the company. I've called, left messages and used a phone prompt option to request a call back. Zero. Fedex employees have no knowledge about the company or training to provide support despite the alleged relationship between the two companies. I used Rush My Passport because a friend in another country is having an event and I needed to get my expired passport renewed quickly. As many people know, the post office hours are not exactly the easiest for people with a 9-5, especially depending on your area. So FedEx it was. I really wish I had looked up the reviews before I paid what was more than double what the regular passport fees are because they are bleak. First, I wasn't expecting the fees for the service to be more than the actual passport fees themselves. I figured at first glance (and this may have been my bad since I was in a rush) that the first fee you pay is the service + the passport fees. This is incorrect. It was ~$250 just to have them give you a nice printable of a form you filled out and the cost of delivering thing to a fro from FedEx. At one point, I got an email saying there was something wrong with my check for my ACTUAL passport fees, so I tried calling back multiple times and didn't receive a single call or email back. They eventually reached out to me and seemed very surprised I had left multiple voice messages trying to get a call back. In the end, I did get my passport about a month later, which was essentially on time. But save your money and wait a day or two until you can get to a post office. read more

There is no value in this service. They send calls for assistance to messages that are not returned. I left 5 messages for assistance with all the required information, and after 10 days, I have not received a call back. In my case, they stated my passbook wasn't sent, but they did get the check and application. All were in the same FedEx envelope, with the check tucked in the book! Now I am doing the lost/stolen application, which requires a post office visit. I got this completed in one day with a walk-in appointment at the post office. Save yourself time and an unreasonable fee, not to mention stress and frustration. I went through AAA ,and FedEx offers the same partner service. They should disassociate themselves from the horrible service as t assects their brand as well. Followed their instructions (and paid extra) for an expedited child passport application and went to the passport acceptance agent at USPS (again, as instructed) who explained that the service we had paid for through RMP was useless and wouldn't result in any expediation at all. This "service" is a total scam. I took my information to the post office for a passport and they told me I had been ripped off by Rush My Passport. I had to pay a second time for a passport and I want my money back. They tell you to go to your "client portal" to initiate a complaint, but there is no form or link for the complaint. Submitted a refund request about a week ago after learning of their absolute extortionate pricing on a service that is significantly cheaper and faster if you do it yourself. I called support to check in on the status of this refund that they said was delayed, and then my husband called again and they said there was "never a refund filed" which was absolutely and wholly inaccurate. After confirming that there WAS a refund request filed, they then fell back on an excuse of "3-5 business days" which we were in the timeframe of and claimed that their new policy on refunds led to delays. By not charging double on the amount of money for standard renewals and then have you pay the government fees on top of their fees that are not transparent. Quite frankly this is DECEPTIVE business practices 100%. Paying over $630 for 2 renewal pass ports not including government fees of $239.53 for each renewal of the actual "US government expedited service" fees- insane. Totaling over $1000 using their services for 2 passport and card renewals when it should be $380 in total direct with US Gov. direct. Shame on you. Horrible scam, false advertising. The steps shown on the site state that you: 1) get your passport photo. 2) start online by selecting your service type. 3) Complete the online application. 4) ship documents. The critical step missing from the advertising is 5) Visit a Passport Acceptance Facility. The Passport Acceptance Facility will do everything that Rush My Passport claims to do. They take your photo, they look over your documents for mistakes before sending it in, they ship your documents for you. They provide you with tracking and follow up information. They charge $35. There is literally nothing that Rush My Passport helps you do. Someone will file a class action lawsuit and shut down this business soon! read more

Don't do it, the wait times are misleading, I ended up trying to go through fedex and their site sends you to rush my passport website where they tell you the breakdown in costs, I chose the 7-9 day service with well over 2 weeks before travel and filled out my form on line after you pay the price of course but they dont allow you to download the forms until you talk to someone, that someone then try's upsell you to the next level because she then says but those times don't include shipping times back but if you want to do the expedited service it will be another $136. so thwhole endeavor ended up costing me $586 all said and done. The kicker is that fedex had already sent me a ship back time saying as long as you get your documents into us by this date you will got your documents back in time but when I called rush my passport she told me my passport would not make in in time unless paid them for the 1-2 day expedite fee so basically she ripped me off for fear that i wouldn't get it in time. Here's the right way to do it if you can. you to a passport agency, SF has one which i has the rest of my family do for the same trip and because they could show they had travel plans within the 2 week timeframe they got theirs within just a couple days, they paid 120 + 60 plus another $21 for expedited shipping. So many things went wrong. I paid for the Emergency passport renewal service. It did not say that I have to be departing within 14 days to purchase this option. I filled out and submitted the application (which as a graphic designer I would change things to make clearer and easier for people in certain places), but then it said I had to call a number and it did not tell me easily which number to push. I had a difficult time understanding the person who helped me and she had attitude. There was another section to try to complete the documents separate from the application which said, "enter your full name" but it would not let me put in my middle name. It was misleading and frustrating. It should say, "enter your first and last name only for mailing purposes". Then, they wanted my full itinerary, not just one or two flights. It felt very creepy and invasive. I finally asked for a refund and she said I would have to give a reason and fill out a form. Outrageous!! This company definitely feels like a scam. read more

I paid $179 expecting expedited passport assistance as advertised on their website, but the service was completely misleading. Once I realized that I would still need to make an appointment and take the documents in myself, I decided to request a refund, and I followed the websites prompts for how to do so. Despite never submitting my application, I was denied a refund with the false claim that it had been processed. It's been over four weeks with zero updates, no communication, and no results. I literally paid for nothing. This company takes your money without delivering on its promises--avoid it at all costs. Beware. Do know you need an authorized Passport Acceptance Agent to complete your passport transaction. In my area these appointments are booked out 4 weeks or more at the Post Office or Library. You need to mail in the form within four weeks of paying for this service before it expires (RMP asked me if I wanted to pay additional money to upgrade my expedited time). There is then no need for this service, as by the time you get your Post Office appointment you can pay them to expedite the passport . The USPS fees to expedite are less expensive. Also, it took 20+ minutes on hold to get assistance from RMP and the call dropped from their end before all was completed ( to get a live person I needed to select option 2, that I wasn't a current customer). I was told I most likely will not be able to get a refund. On a positive note the gentleman that handled my call was pleasant enough. read more

They gave us a list of what was supposed to be several authorized passport agents who can accept on behalf of RushMyPassport, but not a single one of them are actually authorized to accept on their behalf. After going to 3 of the places we called the others. To the company's credit, they are going to provide a full refund. They contend that all passport agents have to accept on their behalf, but that's not something I can verify. They'll have to work it out with the entities they listed for my area. We were on a tight timeline after discovering our daughters passport was expired about 3 weeks before departure. RMP talked a big game about getting one back to us in a week, but not so much. After spending a LOT of time placing the order, and a lot more time on hold after that, we were informed that contrary to their claim of being able to get it done in a week it was going to be more than a month. Fortunately I had continued looking and found Allstate passports. They assured us they could get it done in 5 business days. I grilled them pretty hard after our other experience. We didn't really have any other choice so we went for it. Talk about night and day. The order process was easy, and they also helped guide us through what to do at the post office as that is part of getting it done. I recently got married and changing my name took longer than I thought it would. So by the time I got to renewing/changing my name on my passport, I only had 4 weeks before my husband and I's honeymoon trip to Jamaica! I paid for the 2 week rush service ($600+) and I had my passport in hand 16 days after I mailed my packet to the RushMyPassport company. I got my passport back 6 days sooner than I was estimated over the phone, which was great! If you buy a rush service the "days" are only how long it will be with the government, not including shipping or reviewing your documents, so make sure to keep that in mind! I had 4 weeks until my trip which is why I picked the 2 weeks service. I am very satisfied with this service and I would use it again if I had another situation where I needed to renew my passport quickly. SCAM, do not use this service. I wish I saw these reviews first. They did nothing. The passport is missing. They refuse to refund the charges. I called their helpline a few days after my passport was supposed to arrive. It turned out that they lost my passport and refused to refund the $400 expedited fee. They said the refund window is 72 hours, no exceptions. There is no way I'd know I needed a refund within that window because the processing time is three weeks. I told them they lost my passport and took my money and the person on the phone said "That's Life". I asked to speak to a supervisor and they put me on hold for 20 minutes and hung up on me. I have rented a villa in Tuscany for 17 family members to spend time with my elderly parents, most likely our last family vacation with us all attending. I leave SF in two days and then to Florence Italy on July 4th out of New York City, JFK. I cant cancel the villa at this stage. My family will go on the trip and I will miss the entire event !!! I paid for the 5-9 business day service because I had an emergency. Their instruction packet had an incorrect amount due to the government, so my check was incorrect. They used that error - said I made a mistake even though I have the pdf they sent me with the incorrect amount - to take as long as they wanted with the processing. Pretty sneaky. Still can't find my status of my passport. Rush my Passport was supposed to send my passport application and the additional fees I had to pay due to Rush my Passport not sending my original documents to the proper Government agency for processing. The original $179.00 I gave to Rush My Passport, plus the additional $210.00 I paid Rush My Passport again in order to process my passport have been a total waste of money and have cost me precious time. I originally submitted my request to Rush My Passport at the end of FEBRUARY. It is now almost the end of April and Rush My Passport has all my necessary paperwork and my original passport and I have nothing after spending $400.00 so far. Can't stress enough NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY! Just send everything you need directly with your application on the government site. So wish we had done this. I applied for a new passport in OCTOBER 2021 After repeated attempts to follow the process I gave up and asked for a refund. Try calling customer service, I waited 34 minutes before I hung up. Really, it's a joke of a company, if all they do is process passports, then they are a bad company. The documents provided stated I needed to pay $209.53... this is all over their website, as well as in the video they play as you wait to download your documents. The only way to pay this is through a check or money order. They then hold up your renewal submission, stating that you sent in the incorrect amount and that it should be $190. They refuse to accept the money order for the larger amount and state that you must now pay via credit card $190... this is after refusing to accept a credit card from the beginning. I am certain this is a scam. Kristy was not helpful at all in resolving the issue, and now I can't even submit my passport renewal myself because they have all my documents. This business is a scam, absolute joke. I paid $1000 to "rush my passport" and they told me it would arrive 4 days before my trip. Continued to call everyday and nobody had any answers. "One of our supervisors will call you", nobody ever called me. I finally called a legit gov passport agency to make an in person appointment and when I arrived they told me nobody submitted my application.. Remind you, I submitted my application Feb 27th, and my trip was April 24th. I do not recommend using any third party agencies, especially this one. My trip is in less two weeks and I still have no passport in hand. I sent in all the paperwork, paid all the fees, and my passport is still not ready and worst of all I have not been able to get a hold of anyone on their customer support team. I've sent in multiple emails, tried to use their live chat feature at different times during the day in hopes to get a hold of someone AND NOTHING! Traveling internationally can be stressful and giving these people my money and trusting them to handle my passport situation was a terrible mistake. I have no idea if I'll receive my passport in time for my trip, I'm losing sleep and stressing out majorly with this service, and I'm deeply disappointed after reading all the reviews and feedback of others experiencing the same. While their responses to customer reviews you can get a sense of the lack of support and customer service they provide. They use the language of "we've been around for 13+ years..." none of that really matters if they continue to serve customers in the way that they do. It also seems that the only way to get any sort of response from them is to write a review which is the pattern I've witnessed on all of the review sites of their business from Google to Facebook, Yelp, and many others.
