Just been to the Pasadena Rusnak for a service last Friday~ The appointment was very easy to set up, and the car was in and out within one day. The environment feels safe during this pandemic. This is the worse car service center I have ever been to. I have been to this center many times. Let's start with what they do well, to be fair. Raffe is extraordinary: responsive, courteous and effective . Melody is always courteous. Drivers are courteous. They pick you up and drop you off. They sometimes have great loaner vehicles. That is the end of what they do well. 1. They have poor quality control. They have returned my vehicle to me as fixed many times when it had not been properly fixed. And they have returned my vehicle to me multiple Times with faults it had never had in the five years before I took it in. When I left them my car, its rear view camera worked. When they returned it, it was broken. When I left them my car, its radio worked. When they returned it, it was broken. When I left them my car, its clock worked. When they returned it, it was broken. When I left them my car, its 12V battery worked. When they returned it, it was draining. When I left them my car, its fuel gauge worked. When they returned it, it was not working. My neighborhood mechanic showed much more aptitude at fixing my car than the Rusnak service center --not to mention he charged a small fraction of the Rusnak price. 2. Management is plain rude. When I asked Courtney whether they would take responsibility for fixing something that broke while my car was at their service center, she said they would not, but much worse, she immediately smirked at me, told me to go find another dealer (knowing full well the next closest for Now is in San Francisco), said she would see me in court, and walked away. Her stated reason was that I was a difficult client (because they had been unable to fix my car despite charging me for the fix and I was pesky enough to go back to ask that they finish the job). Her one saving grace is she can be funny: she pointed out correctly that industries like the car repair industry exist to profit from their customers' misfortune. When her boss first called me, he told me he was frustrated before I said a word. 3. They don't stand behind their service. After I reported that a fix they charged me for had not been properly carried out, they failed to repair it. After I reported that another mechanic had stated that Rusnak had left a critical cable disconnected after my airbag service, leaving my car's battery drained, they failed to take responsibility. 4. They don't stand behind their word. CFO Randy Jones told me they would repair the issue that first occurred while my car was in their shop without charging me for the labor, and promised me to get me the cost of the parts the next day. I never heard back from him or anyone else at Rusnak again. 5. They have no integrity. Randy told me I had insulted one of his employees, which is 100% a fabrication. No wonder he failed to explain himself. 6. Perhaps the ultimate cause of the rest of their issues is they have poor leadership: Their CEO failed to respond to any of my letters. With that kind of example, it's no wonder customer service is not a priority here. The trigger for all of this is that two wheels of a loaner that belongs to a manufacturer were scratched while it was in my custody, and I told them that I would happily pay for the damage, and that I expected them to likewise pay for the damage that happened to my car while in their custody. This request for symmetry incensed them. They also claimed that I had not approved a fix they had recommended for one of my car's problems, but this is a lie, and I have written evidence to prove it. The real cause is they took money from me while they could milk me for a profit, but let me stranded when they deem themselves on the hook for an unprofitable repair they already charged for but failed to complete. But it gets worse: in May of 2019, they hired a new service manager, Brian Edwards, who wrote to me: "I am unfortunately aware of the recent and past issues here at this location. With our new General Manager and myself, along with various others, we are working on repairing those issues and rebuilding good relationships with our clients, and working to returning back to the Rusnak Standard of business!... Thank you very much for your business and giving us the opportunity to assist you." But when I booked an appointment, he intervened and canceled it, writing "I have had time to review your history with the Rusnak Service Department, along with your Yelp review. I understand that you were asked not to return to our service department. At this time, unfortunately we are unable to assist you on your Fisker." So even the new manager they hired to fix their customer service problems was utterly unable to fix anything. In sum: if you like to pay for repairs that don't get properly done, if you like to get new maladies for your car it didn't have when you brought it in, and if you like to get mistreated, then this service center may be just what you are looking for. read more

Brought my vehicle here to get service done and to get the xzilon protection for my paint and interior. I dropped it off to Benji on Friday and he told me it would be ready by Tuesday the latest. Benji also heard a sound that I hadn't really noticed, and he knew exactly what it was and he said they would take care of it. Benji hooked me up with a loaner vehicle, with no restrictions on mileage which is perfect since me and wifey drive a lot.Well when Benji called me on Tuesday that the car was ready, unfortunately the freeways were closed due to the fires in my area. Benji told me don't worry he has other customers that are restricted just like me and to pick up vehicle when I can. I wasn't able to pick up car until a week later due to work schedule, which again was not a problem to them. When I finally did pick up vehicle Benji had it washed again since it had been sitting in the lot for a week. I appreciate the assistance I was provided by Benji and great customer service. I feel Benji is really sincere when trying to help his clients as I heard him talking to other customers on the phone and again he was very polite and patient. The lot porters are very helpful and are polite with everyone I seen them dealing with as well. Good job team Rusnak. This is the type of service that makes you WANT to buy your next vehicle from, not like those dealers that are only nice while they are trying to convince you to buy a vehicle then are rude once they have your money. Keep in mind they made no money off of me during this visit as I paid for xzilon when I purchased the car, and I have free maintenance on the car. read more

Please note that this review is for the service center itself, NOT for Rusnak Jaguar sales (337 W. Colorado Blvd) - which we had a good experience with. Had a pretty horrible fist experience from beginning to end with this Rusnak Jaguar Service Center. The first person I met when I walked into this place was the person who ended up being my service advisor. He was incredibly unprofessional and downright rude for most of our time together the day I dropped off my vehicle. It was so stunningly bad, I had a conversation with the service manger about it later in the day. That person was nice enough, but his response to his employee's conduct was "well, he's young". Perhaps he is, but he's also extraordinarily unprofessional. Next my service advisor points me over to where the loaner cars are, and they proceed to put me into an extremely well used Chevy Impala (or something along those lines) - and the vehicle reeked of cigarette smoke. So I had to come all the way back here before closing to switch into a different car. That car was at least a Jaguar, but it also reeked of cigarette smoke. As to if they actually fixed the issue I was having with my vehicle, it's too soon to know - as it was an intermittent issue. Finally, after parking my vehicle immediately following picking it up from this place, I noticed an area near the front grill of at least several square inches of paint that had been scuffed. I schedule a service for my Levante 3 weeks prior because of my work schedule. I had to cancel and move around meetings so I can make time and take the car in for service. The day of the service they call telling me they don't have loaner cars available. Why would you wait last minute to tell me this? Why wasn't a car saved for me if I scheduled ahead of time? It frustrating because yesterday they sent me a txt reminding me of the appointment and they could have said that I wont be getting a loaner. I have been here with a friend for his car and he wasn't too happy with the customer service either. My schedule is messed up, work backed up and money being lost because of customer service at a dealer ship. I recently had a problem with my 2012 Jaguar XF Supercharged V8 Portfolio Edition. I had the car at a different shop and it required Dealership required programming. The car was towed in because it wouldn't recognize the keys. I dropped of the car and provided my extended warranty information. Instead of diagnosing the problem I had taken the car in for and submitting it to the warranty company the service department went through the entire car and submitted a repair request totalling $11,361.00. I had purchased the car pre-owned from Santa Monica Lexus just over 1 year ago. I had the car inspected at an ASE Certified shop when I took the car in 2 days later for an oil change. They inspected the car and found no issues with the car. Later the water pump failed, as they do and I took the car to another ASE Certified repiar shop. I asked for the car again to be inspected and again no issues we're found. I then had an electronic problem again to it to the previous shop the issue was repaired and again I asked the inspector the vehicle. Again no issues we're found. Then I had the issue I had to take the car to Rusnick Jaguar for. During the inspection they submitted repairs for: Check codes, inspect All 12 volt studs, battery, and replace BCM and supply 2 keys Replace inner arm bushings $762.30 Both upper arms at ball joints. Replace both front upper arms. $1,952 Transmission mount collapsed. Replace transmission mount $427.11 Driver's side mount leaking, passenger mount torn. Replace both engine mounts $1,154.28 Vacuum pump leaking. Replace pump. $807.03 Both rear lower arms torn. Replace both rear lower arms. $1,327.35 Replace both rear tow links and sway bar torn. $1,359.46 Then they also added repairs that a warranty company never covers. Brake fluid dirty Flush $221.29 Wipers bouncing Replace $88.84 Oil change $254.91 Due to this the warranty company refused any payment for anything. They had my car at the service shop for almost 3 week's My warranty company is canceling my policy. And the best news is I have to return my car to them because the original issue that they charged me almost 1,800.00 is still not correctly repaired. Don't ever use Rusnick anything for any car. They are dis honest in business. I also had the car re-inspected at the previous ASE Certified shop today. That again found no issues with the vehicle that is not normal use and require no replacement. Rusnick mechanics and service advisors are paid on commission. I have had to visit the Rusnak service center on two occasions since I bought my Alfa Romeo Giulia in December 2017. The first was unscheduled, when I dropped in to report three issues of malfunctions with the car. The second was to leave the car for a couple of days to have them fixed and have a recall taken care of. On both occasions I was taken care of by Andrew Lascano, who has, since this first visit, been my main contact with the Rusnak service organization. He has always been honest, open, courteous, patient, attentive, understanding, and helpful - all you can want from a service advisor. When you have an Alfa, you tend to develop relationships with your Alfa service department .... it's part of the car's "charm" ... so I feel fortunate in knowing there is someone at Rusnak I can rely on. read more
